My Bellarke Secret Santa gift for @writetheniteaway 💙
Wishing you a very, very happy New Year!! Hope you enjoy reading this one & tysm for the prompt!
Written for #bellarkegifts2023, prompt of: "PTSD/nightmares/injuries... any of that sweet sweet angst". I took THE MOST angsty storyline and flipped it to a version that I hope y'all will enjoy. Bellamy + Clarke + stuck on a planet together, probably to die there. They both have a hard time with it.
Big thanks to @bellarke-events for organizing this great event! Fandom has gifted us so much fanfic to catch up on 🤩💕☺️🎉

When I'm watching a show/movie or reading a book, I have this thing called the Sam and Dean Test where I try to figure out whether, if one character died, the other would sell their soul to hell to get the other one back. Passing the Sam and Dean Test means that the characters would sell their souls to hell to get the other back.
Anyways, I'm 100% sure that Starsky and Hutch pass the Sam and Dean Test.

Finn Pov
In the drop ship, Finn was helping Clarke gather supplies when Wells walks in.
“There you are, I've been looking everywhere for-what are you two doing? I already said my father left us with nothing.” Clarke shakes her head looking up at Wells, silently examining the cut Murphy gave him. “I'm fine.” He mumbles hiding the wound a little as if he was a little kid about to get scolded for playing too rough. “Just a Scratch.”
“Clearly you’re making friends fast. Keep the scratch covered.” She squints her eyes a little, focusing on the pack hung on Wells’ body. Finn looked at it as well, admiring the craftsman ship.
“Yeah I pieced it together with some parts off the dropship insulation, seatbelts, parachute, you name it I used it. Figured we could use the parachute to carry Y/n.”
“Good give it to someone else. You're not coming.” Clarke says standing up and not giving Wells another glance.
“Clarke, my ankle is fine.” She scoffs, spinning on her heels so fast Finn was worried the rubber souls of her shoes would melt.
“I don't give a shit about your ankle Wells. It's you. I don't want You to come with.” Finn watched in shock. He hadn’t expected to see a side like this with Clarke.
“You came back for reinforcements. That's me.”
“He's got a point, Clarke.” She shot a look filled with daggers at Finn causing him to cringe a little. “So far only Monty and Jasper have volunteered. I can carry her on my own but it'll be easier to protect ourselves if we have more eyes and hands.”
“Monty, you can't go either.”
“What why?! Y/n is my friend too!”
“You were raised on  farm station. What up here,” She tapped his forehead gently with her index finger. “Is gonna save us all.”
“Then I definitely have to come if you are making Monty stay.” Clarke rubs her temples.
“Fine.” She says in a curt tone. “We leave now.” Clarke turns on her heels again, this time Finn and the others close behind her s she walks up to Bellamy and Octavia.
“Are you leaving? I'm coming too.” Bellamy scoffs at Octavia.
“Like hell you are.” She pouts about to protest when Clarke cuts in.
“He’s right, you’ll only slow us down, Octavia. But you on the other hand,” Clarke turns towards Bellamy. “You are coming with us.” He scoffs.
“Already planned on it princess. I wasn't gonna let you guys go get Y/n without my help.” Clarke nods and makes her way to the edge of the makeshift camp everyone in tow.
“Murphy follow us, Atom you keep my sister fucking safe do you understand me?” Atom nods and Murphy falls in line with the rest of the group.
Everyone walked in silence for what seemed like forever until there was a click of a gun behind Finn and Clarke. They both turn in unison to see Bellamy with his gun pointed at Clarke and Murphy with his signature cocky grin.
“What’s the rush guys? Not like Y/n actually survived a spear to the heart. Which sucks cause the kid had a spark.” Bellamy says inching closer to Clarke.
“Put the gun away, Bellamy.”
“Why don't you do something about it?”
“Y/n screamed when they moved her, which means they didn't spear her heart.”
“The kid still has a spark.” Bellamy mutters under his breath.
“We don't have time to waste.”
“Take the wristband off and then we’ll go rescue Y/n” Clarke scoffs at Bellamy.
“The only way the ark is gonna think I'm dead is if I’m actually dead.”
“Brave little princess.” Bellamy Smirks and uncocks the gun placing it back into his waistband.
“Hey get your own nickname.”
They keep walking when Bellamy let out a loud sigh.
“We need to split up and cover more ground. Clarke come with me.” Finns ears perk up.
“Ill come with you guys as well, Jasper can go with wells and Murphy to make sure they dont kill eachother.” Bellamy shrugs a little.
“Whatever.” The silent journey continues until something crosses Finns mind.
“Bellamy why do you care if we find Y/n. Isnt she one of the privileged?” Bellamy is quiet for a moment before speaking.
“From what I’ve seen of her, she doesnt act like one of them, she acts like one of us. She has a sassy spark and doesnt deserve to be taken out by a fucking spear.” He stops walking and turns to look at Finn. “Why do you care so much if we find her?”
“Shes one of my best friends. Me her and wick always hung out in the mechanic wing. God Wick is probably worried sick about her.” Bellamy goes to open his mouth but Finn cuts him off. “And no Wick isnt her boyfriend just her best friend in like the entire galaxy.” Bellamy nods and keeps walking. It got silent again. Eventually Wells, Murphy and Jasper meet back up with the other group.
“How do we know were going the right way? Do we even know where they could have taken her?” Wells asks, his ankle clearly starting to bother him.
“We dont. Spacewalker over here thinks hes a tracker.” Bellamy says matter a factly. Finn goes to say something snarky but theres a low groan that stops him.
“What was that?” Finn asks.
“Now would be a good time to get out that gun.” Clarke tells Bellamy. They all slowly continue to walk forward when Finn sees you, bloodied and barley alive strung up in a tree like some sick christmas tree ornament.
“Oh my god Y/n.” Finn and Clarke walk forward but clarke was alittle ahead causing her to fall into a hole. Some how Bellamy caught her before Finn could even process what happened. “Pull her up! Hurry!” Finn panics. Bellamy pulls clarke up and Finn rushes to her side. “Are you okay?” She nods and stands following Bellamy around the hole to where you were tied up.
“I can climb up and cut the vines.” Finn says getting out his makeshift knife.
“Ill come with you.” Wells says following him.
“No you stay down here and watch murphy, Bellamy lets go. I need you to hold her up while I cut her down.” He nods and both of them start climbing up.
“Look her wound, it has poultice on it.” CLarke points out.
“Medicine? Why would they try and heal her just to string her up like live bait?” Wells interjects.
“Maybe they were trying to catch something that likes its dinner breathing.” Bellamy says starting to climb up the tree.
“Or maybe they are trying to catch us.” After a few minutes of cutting and Bellamy trying to sooth you as you cried and whimpered from the movement, you were finally free. Bellamy carried you down from the tree, Finn jumped down after and opened his arms for Bellamy to pass you to him.
“Are you sure? I dont mind caring her.” Everyones heads head snaps in the direction of the sound of a branch snapping.
“Bellamy gun!” Clarke urges. He quickly goes to pass you off to Finn when a gun shot goes off. He looks over and Wells is shooting and missing at a large cat lookin thing. Bellamy goes to reach for the gun when the animal finally goes down. Bellamy looks at Wells a little shocked.
“Now she sees you.”
Time skip back to camp
Y/n Pov
Everything was dark and felt like fire. The fire would stop for a moment and then it would continue like hot knife being stabbing into your soft skin. You knew you had to of been being loud there was no way you werent you just hoped whoever was making you feel this way knew what they were doing.
After a while the burning stopped only to be replaced with a new pain, that made your whole body writhe in pain. In you time in this darkness you heard voices. Some you could recognize like Clarke, Finn, Monty, and Jasper. But there was one that you recognized but couldnt put a name to it.
“Hey, youre gonna get better okay? You cant die on me.” The voice spoke softly “I have this plan, and idea really that me and you can run this camp but I cant do it with out you.” You felt a large, rough and callused hand grab yours. “I need your spark.”
You were unsure how much time had passed but you knew clarke and Finn continued to check in on you.
“Her pulse is through the roof, its pushing 380.” Clarke says as she lets go of your wrist.
“GO TO BED”
“SHUT HER THE HELL UP” “JUST LET HER DIE ALREADY”
Finn leans down and brushes the hair from your forehead.
“Dont listen to them okay, you are gonna make it.” Clarke stand up, watching the way Finn is so soft with you and smiles.
“Im gonna go get some water, watch her okay?” Finn nods and positions himself in a way that he can watch the door and you.

i know i don't talk much about her either, but it does make me sad to see how much harper is excluded from spacekru. she's so often just forgotten, when she's a member of the family just as much as the others! i remember a moment in s5 when bellamy and clarke talked for the first time again "raven, murphy...?" "monty, echo, emori, they're all safe." (something like that) JUST COMPLETELY FORGETTING HARPER?? ngl i feel like that was the writers' fault.
she's part of the family too! we really don't know much about what happened on the ring, but we do know she kept up the algae farm together with monty. she's such a kind yet strong soul, i know she gave emotional support to the others in tough times. let's start talking more about this girlie!

listen. 6 years is plenty of time for characters to change and grow in different directions, of course bellamy (and co) and clarke are gonna be out of sync. of course they're going to have to get reacquainted with one another before they fall into step again, and we should maybe even expect a little conflict. it makes sense.
and in a broader sense it makes sense for the different groups to bond like they did when there's no one else around. spacekru is going to look out for each other and do their best planning when they're together because they spent 6 years pretty much inseparably. clarke is going to prioritize this kid because that's what she's been doing for half this girl's life. 6 years is long enough for loyalties to change, and that's what's interesting to me about season 5 all these years later: who are you loyal to and what has to happen for your loyalties to change?
talk of traitors and loyalties is all over the place this season. you can even see this amongst the mining group, divided between diyoza's and mccreary's followers. the 100 has always been about "protecting my people" and what leadership means, but season 5 feels more about what happens when we get subgroups and shifting allegiances. and it's an interesting conversation to have! it makes sense!
but what doesn't make sense is this show's lack of understanding of how.... long? it takes for a Culture to develop? 6 years isn't long enough for wonkru to be like... That. a century isn't long enough for the grounders to be like That either. i get that it was ~a dark time~ but i don't think people would lose their agency and follow this teenager so blindly and stupidly after just a couple years. so while the question of loyalty is an interesting one, i think they really fumbled with it and sort of lost their train of thought because it really ended up going nowhere.

[SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE 100]
has anyone else noticed that everyone lost their first "love" (quotation cause some of the following relationships had shitty development)
Abby lost Jake
Octavia lost Atom
Clarke and Raven lost Finn
Jasper lost Maya
Bellamy lost Gina
Lexa lost Costia (assuming she was her lover, don't remember if it was specified)
Luna lost Derrick (I think that was his name and assuming he was her first love for purposes)
Miller lost Bryan
Monty lost Harper
Jordan lost Priya
Gabriel lost Josephine
Echo lost Bellamy (or the real Echo, maybe. either way)
Everyone except Murphy (and well Jackson but eh). (okay technically she did die but he brought her so it doesn't really count) Like they fucked up his whole psyche, but they didn't take Emori. Why is he the only one who got any mercy?
Like they were merciless with everyone. Clarke lost all of her lovers in some way (Niylah betrayed her), both her parents, her best friend TWICE, and her daughter (not even to mention all the shit she went through to survive/save her people and all the hate she got for it, you don't gotta like the character just respect her ruthlessness). They made Bellamy a sheep (multiple times *cough* fucking Pike *cough*) and made his whole death pointless cause he was right and Madi gave herself up like immediately after (so fucking mad you don't even know). Raven lost her childhood best friend/lover after he cheated on her (her childhood for fucks sake), her leg, ALIE (that was bad in general but damn), had to stop her own heart to survive, and then Shaw. Jasper went through it before he took himself out. Monty was hated by his best friend (just the Mount Weather incident), forced to kill his mom twice, watched his best friend die, sent his son into danger, watched Harper die, and never saw anyone he loved again (hell, whether he died of old age or not is still up in the air, they never found a body). They threw sweet Jordan into a horror show by the scruff of his neck. Echo had a childhood for sure. Gabriel had lifetimes of fuckery. The fucking disservice to Lexa (and Lincoln) by having her be shot. Luna killed her own brother and lover then watched her entire clan die. Miller lost his dad and was in the bunker... Abby got her husband killed, the bunker, Kane, and then was just erased (POOF bye bitch👋 wtf). And Octavia (need I say more? I will tho). Raised under the floor, imprisoned for being born, mom dead, dad who?, Atom, Lincoln, Ilian, you are Wonkru or you are the enemy of Wonkru, cannibalism, watched her first kinda child die (Ethan), banished by her own brother, lost time with Hope, and lost Diyoza.
And Murphy went through it too. Like BADLY but he never had to live without Emori.
This post is nothing. I just think that's beautiful.

So I'm relatively new to the fandom, and during my stay in this rabbit hole, that is, Clexa, I've got a few questions that I'm hoping you could answer :)
Why is everyone here pro-Lexa? Like don't get me wrong I absolutely love Lexa as a character and Alycia is a queen, but why all the hate towards some of the other characters, like Bellamy? I've never watched The 100 the whole way through (literally exited outta the show the second Lexa died), even then, it's been years since I watched it. Did I miss something while I was binge-watching, or was my teenage brain at the time just too immature to realize he was a total jackass..? Also, it's not just Bellamy, I've also seen hate for Bob, the actor who plays him. Which brings me to another question: does this fandom not like Eliza? I always see so much support when Alycia has an upcoming project or is posting Instagram updates but nothing for Eliza? Again, no judgment for the Alycia love because I completely understand why everyone here is head over heels in love with that girl but I just wanted to know, has Eliza ever done anything wrong? Or have I just conveniently only stumbled upon Alycia stans on this app?
Anyway, a totally unrelated note but since I'm here… may I just say ma'am, your writing is the bomb diggity. Like the perfect blend of humor, sexiness, angst, and fluff, THE GODDAMN FLUFF. Genius, you're a genius, like a mad scientist of Clexa fanfic. Hope you keep doing what you're doing, my friend. Take your time though, and don't listen to those ignorant anons that are crawling around yelling "wHy ArE yOu TaKiNg So LoNg To UpDaTe?" Thank you for writing for the Clexa fandom! ❤️
First I wanna say thank you for the sweet words and reading, that means so much to me 🥹💕 not to be a nerd but I screenshot that for one of my worse imposter syndrome days lol
Long post so you can read under the cut. Long time clexas you can just skip if you want because honestly I got annoyed all over again just typing it and you know it all already 🥴
Now right off the top, you don't have to hate Bellamy if you don't want to. It's not like that's a prereq for being a clexa, so if you like him, like him and don't worry about what anyone says. He's a fictional character so anyone who gets intense over someone liking him I think needs to take a walk.
But the reason why a lot of Clexas, myself included, hate him is somewhat of a two part answer. The main reason being is that his character is trash 😅. I mean I'm not gonna dissect every little bit of canon but the main points for me at least, since I can't speak for anyone else, are that he was constantly fucking up literally everything. He gets to earth, proclaims "tHeRe aRe nO RuLeS" and then,,, immediately declares himself the leader and starts forcing people to follow what he says. He literally almost let Clarke fall into a pit of spikes, tried to handcuff her and keep her hostage "for her own good", he spearheaded the whole thing with taking off their wristbands, HE BACKED PIKE, participated in the massacre of a peaceful army sent to protect skaikru, he constantly shamed and blamed Clarke for everything that ever went wrong even when a lot of that stuff was either the best solution in a bad situation OR was an indirect fallout from something fucked up that skaikru had done. The sweaty little fucker was always trying to control/manipulate Clarke and skaikru and his own damn sister despite the fact that everything he ever planned himself turning out to be: A Terrible Idea. Basically the dude sucked but was held up on spindles of glorification as being this heroic uwu soft boy that wasn't actually supported by any one damn thing in canon when you actually look at it objectively. And I'm sure I'm even forgetting stuff. The dude just sucked.
Agian, that's my own two cents.
The other reason being, it's rollover from having to deal with blarks. Their constant harassment and shoving their fanon, non-existent ship down everyone's throat, while being entitled little brats throwing tantrums about them not happening at every turn has led from what probably would've been just a mild distaste for a character for most into loathing even the name. Understand I'm not saying the word harassment lightly. They were awful for years. Death threats and homophobia, spamming inboxes with hateful messages and sending awful pictures/memes etc. One even sent EJT a dick pic with Blark written on their penis. They sent memes non-stop about Lexa dying when people were still reeling from it. I'm not saying all Blarks are bad because they're not, but there was enough harassment and viciousness from a large enough and loud enough faction that at a certain point it becomes a blanket feeling of animosity toward the entire ship and everything that follows it.
As for disliking EJT. In reality, she used to be the fandom favorite. I mean she was our girl because she used to champion us and was hilarious about it. Go look up old cons and interviews with her. She was funny and great. Once upon a time E was our biggest cheerleader and dealt with A Lot of abuse and harassment from The Other fandom for it. I'm talking body shaming, slut shaming, comments about her intelligence, sexual harassment and trolling her about her boyfriends and very descriptive messages about how they wanted her to harm herself. The list goes on. And no one, especially not Bob who was the golden boy for The Other fandom, ever said a word in her defense. Never told his fans to stop or that he condemned it. Ever. Not once. That never sat well with clexas, but you can't control what other people do.
We had her back anyway. So, it was whatever. Gross, but whatever.
And then she married Bob. Which, and Blarks cannot seem to wrap their heads around this fact, literally no cared about. She could've just married him and kept being the same person and no one would've cared. In fact, the way this fandom loved her, at first everyone was like hmmm weird and sudden but good for her I guess! Be happy!
But then Bob's ex came forward with very serious allegations about her past relationship with him. She released a statement that you can easily find online and from that it painted a very dark picture of things that involved both him and EJT. As I'm someone who believes victims, I have no reason not to believe her, and since the very bizarre (non) rebuttal that EJT posted in reply made zero sense, that was that. It changed the lens of how a lot of people started looking at her.
Which leads me to the charities.
Hear a collective Clexa sigh.
They're a saga in themselves, but to sum it up as short as possible, EJT had been a part of a children's organization for YEARS that she herself helped set up. Clexas raised a lot of money for this charity through fundraising and selling fanart and we really cared about it. And literally within months of them being married, he became involved in it, and then shortly thereafter, magically they both had to "step away from it" for dubiously explained reasons. (Which, if you read his ex's statement, logical deduction of what probably actually happened will make more sense than what they claimed, and not in a good way.) Sensibly, they started recieving backlash from supporters because, again a lot of people had been helping this charity for years and all of a sudden she was just gone from it and all the projects were halted. I'm not blaming solely her for anything but to just cut and run like she did was sus to say the least.
So to steer away from that shitshow, they started another charity. With a bunch of right-wing MAGA nuts. Yeah. They weren't open or transparent about anything, no records of where any of the money was going, iirc no real legitimate charity registration/tax documentation that anyone could find (and in the US that's all public info sooooooo). It was a total clusterfuck that people started calling them out on from the start. At first they tried to ignore it and just keep collecting money by doing these ridiculous cameos as cash grabs, but just like the first charity, after a while (and a lot of initially unaccounted for money being raised) the poor little darlings just had to "step away for mental health reasons."
Which I would accept and support wholeheartedly because mental health is extremely serious... except funnily, they didn't stop doing the cameos. They kept doing those and charging their fans money to listen to them blather on about made up ~behind the scenes info~ about Blark stuff and it being super secretly canon but for a million reasons that they don't know and can't name, stopped it from happening. Claims of love scenes and kisses that have never been backed up by evidence (like a script) or corroborated by a single person involved in the show. But it's totally true guys, just trust them bro. So yeah, they've kept doing all that. Just... not giving the money they're charging for the cameos to their "charity."
So that's the meat of it, I might be forgetting things and smudging some finer details because it's been a long while ago, but I think you can get the gist. People don't like Bob because he was an ass to fans and EJT herself before them even getting married. He's said ableist things and quoted racists trying to sound smart and never once apologized for anything. He's been accused of abuse in his personal life and has never addressed it, only made his wife write a terrible fanfiction-esque response to appease his ardent followers. And frankly, she pissed off her fans. Once she married him, she completely flipped her personality from a funny charity doing, body positivity leading, cheerleading about "Clexa are soulmates" and "Lexa is the love of Clarke's life" girl, to doing personal cash grabs constantly while spewing all this made up Blark garbage that directly contradicts things they've both said in the past to please her faithful paying cameo fans (read his fans).
It's all left a lot of people with a bad taste in their mouth, to say the least.
And ya best believe if Alycia does some crazy shit, I'll turn on her too 🤷‍♀️ but honestly I'm not too worried about that cuz the girl is a cryptid who you literally can't pay to go to cons or do cameos

The Art of Defiance - Chapter 6
Part 2 of a Clexa Star Wars AU
While their hunt for Roan has at last yielded results, nothing can be taken for granted where Dark Jedi are concerned. They walked into a trap the last time they found him; what's waiting for them this time?
"So is there anything I should look out for?" Bellamy asks, drawing both Clarke and Lexa's attention. "Is he gonna. Try to blow up my brain, or something? I've never fought a Jedi before." And Lexa, who is still waging the fight to keep her righteously irritated comment under control, answers flatly, "He isn't a Jedi." "Right, because that answers the question," Clarke intones. Lexa doesn't need to see her expression to hear the sarcasm in her voice. "He's not a Jedi, just has all the same superpowers and some extra evil ancient artifacts besides. A helpful distinction." There is no passion, she reminds herself as she accepts this not unwarranted, if frustratingly phrased, criticism and says, "There is a possibility he has a lightsaber. If he does, beware firing at him; he will be able to deflect blaster bolts, potentially directly back at the hand that fired them." Lexa does not need Force sensitivity to feel the wordless exchange between Clarke and Bellamy. They are familiar enough with each other that they can, it seems, communicate silently with some effectiveness. "Well that does limit our options a bit," Bellamy says, confirming Lexa's suspicion. "Please," Clarke snorts and flicks at the armor covering Bellamy's shoulder for emphasis, "you're a tank. He'd need a cannon to get through this. Just don't get hit in the noggin." "You won't need to engage him directly," Lexa answers, suddenly wishing she and Helena had traded places. "If and when we find him, Helena and I can do the bulk of the fighting. We will need you, Octavia, and Lincoln to provide cover fire, or to target any security measures and personnel he has with him. "He is also trained in the use of the Force," she continues before any other smart comments can be made. "Do not allow him to catch you by surprise. It may be the difference between having your blaster pulled from your hands or keeping your feet." "Don't shoot at him, don't get shot, don't get taken by surprise--" Clarke's words are cut off by a jarring shudder of the lift as it finally comes to a halt. "I'm feeling more useful by the second." Lexa moves in front of the doors. For all that Clarke is being... unhelpful at the moment, she isn't wrong. Lexa knows first hand the disparity between a Force-user with Jedi training and the average hired gun. "Just..." she says, not quite looking over her shoulder at either of them. What advice could she possibly give? Defending against offensive Force techniques and lightsaber forms takes years to learn, and they have thirty seconds, at best. With anxiety solidifying into something like sorrow in her chest, she says, "Stay alive." And when the lift doors open, she steps into a cave so cold her breath fogs before her.

#Stacked100 - Day 1
Today we're watching 2x01: "The 48"
Positives:
+ The title alone! In a show called "The 100," coming back to season two with an episode called "The 48" immediately reminds us of the massacre at the end of the first season, and of just how many of the kids sent to the ground have already been lost. And this was still early on, when there wasn't a new group of hundreds of people either dying or coming very close to dying every other episode. I do remember how effective that number reduction was when I first watched this episode, though, and I think that reminder pairs nicely with Clarke's desperation when she wakes up in the white room.
+ The first scene is an intense way to start the season - and this rewatch! Maya in her hazmat suit + Clarke immediately losing her shit and injuring herself + taking Maya hostage... all ending with that shockingly peaceful, community breakfast scene. If there was one thing the early seasons were especially good at, it was raising the stakes and changing the status quo in a surprising way. This scene is a great example of that.
+ This season in particular is one that I think Clarke's single-minded intensity towards a specific goal works really well for her character. She immediately distrusts everyone at Mt Weather and wants only to get out of the shelter and back to her people. And since she ends up being absolutely right, her determination and drive to protect people is at its most noble and justified.
+ TRIGEDASLENG TRIGEDASLENG TRIGEDASLENG!! This is the first time we ever hear it and it comes straight from Octavia's mouth and I love that. In later seasons, she's one of the people who speaks it the most and keeps it alive, long after it probably should have died out, so it's very fitting that she's the first person to speak it on screen.
+ Raven and Murphy on the dropship floor, (nearly) dying together. The beginning of a beautiful friendship and they don't even know it yet. Raven literally would've killed him if she wasn't out of bullets. He shot her like, only a few hours before this. But they talk and they come to a sort of uneasy truce. She saves his life at the end, by telling the adults that she "got shot" instead of saying "Murphy shot me." Another thing this show was very, very good at was putting adversaries in the same situation and that letting them find the beginning of a positive relationship there. This wasn't the first time and won't be the last, but it is one of the best.
+ Monroe and that other kid trying to psych themselves up to go save Bellamy and Finn by going "we're warriors. we're warriors!!!"- that kind of made me tear up! They were just kiiiiids!
+ Lincoln carrying Octavia on his shoulders and supporting her tiny head with one huge hand while she's sick from the poison. Lincoln making Octavia repeat that same Trigedasleng phrase over and over again so her pronunciation sounds natural and his people might accept her without him. Lincoln going back to his village and risking a very painful death for treason to get Octavia the antidote. And that doesn't even touch what Octavia is going to do for him in next week's episode. Linctavia really was THAT ship.
+ The late episode pop/rock/indie/alternative/vaguely mid-2010s song montage! Another CW classic. Especially common on The 100 in the first three seasons. I had a playlist of all of them during the peak of my obsession of this show. I genuinely love how on the nose they are, it cracks me up. Clarke settling into Mt Weather (to the extent that her paranoid ass can,) interposed with Skaikru making their way to the Ark to settle there, all while the lyrics "we are coming home" play in the background. So specific. Gotta love it.
+ Monty and his magic tricks! Jasper and Monty play-fighting over chocolate cake! Jasper meeting Maya for the first time! Jasper and Monty well-fed and wearing clean clothes!! I really miss Monty and Jasper. They brought so much heart to this show. And as much hardship as they're going to face later on in this season, it's so nice to see scenes of them relatively happy and carefree in this episode.
Negatives:
- Lincoln says "our warriors speak English," implying non-warrior Grounders don't. They gave up on that one really really quick, didn't they?? I don't think we ever met a grounder that didn't actually speak English.
- The Mountain Men probably would've discovered nightbloods and it should've been a thing, but of course nightblood wasn't a thing at all in the written story at this point, because it clearly wasn't thought of until the writing for s3 began. Just a fun little plothole, classic CW writing.
- "I saw a man. No, it was a - it was a monster!" and then it cuts to an actual deformed human who *doesn't* look anything like the Reapers we'll meet later in the season. I might be wrong - someone please correct me if I am, this has bothered me for years - but I don't think this ever gets addressed. I guess it could just be an especially irradiated Reaper but we never see anyone else deformed to that level. Most people who get radiation poisoning in this show die quickly. I hate this scene.
- "I know she's intense but Clarke's the only reason we survived." One, it's just not true, and totally dismisses everything Raven, Bellamy, Finn, Octavia, Jasper, Monty, and even the nameless kids in the background doing basic (and hard) labor did. Two, Clarke is gonna use that mentality to continue a series-long downward spiral into that "intensity," making some truly awful decisions, many of which will not be for the good of her people, despite what she says. Despite what so many of them say, unfortunately.
- "When you pulled that lever, you saved lives. Don't throw that away by pulling this one." THE GODDAMN LEVERS. IT BEGINS.
- Occasionally this show could be subtle. The heavy-handed comparison between Clarke and Dante Wallace was not one of those occasions.
Miscellaneous:
~ I fully forgot how brutal this show is??? The Grounder just executing that kid that couldn't keep up?? Woof. And they don't really hold back on the violence/gore, at least for a YA/teen show on The CW.
~ The Mtn Men put together a whole welcome packet and orientation for these kids with surprising efficiency. But I don't think anything like this has happened before?? Like they've never had unexpected new arrivals that they didn't just immediately turn into Reapers or blood bags??? How did they know to do that in such an organized way??? The mysteries of Mt Weather continue to baffle me.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, I think this is a good episode. It clearly sets up the stakes and positions of everyone for the season. It gives us our first hints at some later plot points in season two, like with mentions of The Commander and Finn's first darkly uttered "The Grounders took them." It's a great season premiere, and a good place for us to begin - it reminded me a lot of what I liked about this show.
I'm not gonna lie, I had a hard time stopping! Season two has always been one of my favorites, and it's so tempting to just binge the rest of it, like I always have. But I'm also excited to stretch it out a little, and slowly reintroduce this beautiful, corny, well-written, horribly written, funny, sad, charming, heart-breaking, annoying, confusingly enjoyable show back into my life. It was one of my absolute favorites once. It'll be nice to keep rediscovering why!
Next week we have 2x02, "Inclement Weather" - see you then!
Tagging some mutuals: @laufire @bombshellsandbluebells @lucerants @murphystartedthefire (and anyone else who's doing this rewatch! please let me know if you want to be tagged in these posts going forward!)

the 100, LET'S SEE (It's just my opinion please)
LITERALLY in the first episode I was like WHAT? this is fabulous, the "collaboration" with imagine dragons THAT WAS NOT EXPECTING IT, throwing in the couples.... bellamy and clarke I'M SORRY BUT NO, in real life they are a couple seems perfect to me, but in the series no, NO, CLARKE WITH LEXA AND I DO NOT DISCUSS THAT.
I love the other couples and I have nothing to comment 😁
the last season is a super weird smoke but it's great (it ruined my emotional stability AGAIN)
In my opinion the best seasons are 2;3;6 hehehe
Anyway, I had nothing better to do and I wrote this JIJIJI I can't say much either, I don't want to give spoilers, kisses

Hi, I saw your rant about s6 just now and wanted to say I completely agree with you. I wasn't aware so many blarkes hated that season and quite honestly that baffles me. As you said, the entire storyline was about Bellamy coming to terms with his feelings about Clarke (emotions that he never got a chance to fully process in s5 because of the fast-paced conflict), and that was the first time the season's main storyline/point of conflict was directly entwined with bellarke's romantic relationship. The plot for s6 WAS bellarke, the love and devotion they had for each other which transcended death. I also think s6 was so important for Bell and Clarke's individual character arcs because it allowed them to reestablish the core essence of their characters (aka the renewal the head and the heart) as Bell touched base with his emotions/examined the relationships in his life and Clarke reclaimed her role as a hero and leader. And the latter wouldn't have been possible if not for Bellamy (he was the sole reason she initially stopped fighting for her life after she thought he gave up on her, and he was the reason she fought for her life after and succeeded), which goes to show just how deep Clarke's love for Bellamy was, and vice versa. Everything about s6 was so blatantly romantic (the radio calls convo? the longing looks in the Sanctum rave? Bell grieving by himself near the pond? Bell wanting to burn Sanctum to the ground? The giant drawings of him in Clarke's mindspace? "I guess you just care about her more"? the fucking pause before "I won't let you die"? "I don't need you anymore" -> "Clarke, I need you"???) and culminated in the goddamn cinematic masterpiece that was the CPR scene. Everything about s6 affirmed how Bell and Clarke were the strongest, fullest, most authentic versions of themselves when they were fighting for and with each other.
Anyway, apologies for the rant--evidently I'm very passionate about s6 and will gladly die on that hill. Just wanted to let you know you're very much not alone.
I'm glad to know there's others on my opinion! This too is the hill I am okay dying on like you. I can't explain it but I've seen it a lot on twitter, people bashing not just the last one but the sixth too. Yes, there are things to be desired but I personally enjoyed it a lot. I know old-ish bellarkers and fic writers (as well as you know the c.ls ) make fun of the CPR scene because of the way he is performing it I guess but to me it's like that for a reason that doesn't have anything to do with Bob's ability to perform it the right way that I won't go into now. Many of them said that it didn't feel like OG bellarke but to me they did and especially bellamy's fighting for Clarke was just so...Bellamy. I know Bob had a tough time performing because of his knee then and that played a role in some of the first episode scenes but I think they are just as Bellarke as before only a bit older and more evolved. Anyway I know what those older fans mean i just am not with them on this one even if I too am an older fan but I guess I saw things differently than even those who shipped my ship always. Then again perhaps it's better to not be involved in a ship part of the fandom and just enjoy what you do. Either way I was surprised and still am to see things like this on here or twitter the Hellsite.
Please, don't apologize for the rant! Rant away! I like discussing stuff like this with people!

Hounded ↦ Bellamy Blake 2. Earth Skills
Tumblr media
Synopsis: After being locked away for eight months, Athena Kane alongside 99 other criminals is sent to the ground to find out if it's survivable. The ground was the dream, but who knew it would turn out to be a nightmare?
Show: The 100
Pairings: Bellamy Blake x OC
Warnings: major series spoilers (full series will be covered), use of profanity, descriptions of violence, death, blood and gore, and mentions of drugs and alcohol.
Masterlist
That night we all slept in the dropship, either on the floor or on makeshift hammocks. I hardly slept that night, too worried about the group heading to Mount Weather, as well as wondering about my family on the Ark. I knew my father had to have known about the plan, but did he bother to tell my mother?
I pushed through the sheet covering the dropship door, heading outside. Just a few feet away, I watched as Atom reached for the clothes in Wells' hands.
"There's always a market for-"
Wells yanked himself away from Atom. "We share based on need, just like back home."
I felt myself being shoved to the side as Bellamy exited the dropship, his chest bare as a girl followed close behind. "You still don't get it, do you, Chancellor?" I watched as Bellamy kissed the girl, her happily marching away.
Gross.
"This is home now. Your father's rules no longer apply." Bellamy continued, heading over to Wells and grabbing a shirt. Wells attempted to grab the shirt back, Atom pushing him away.
"Atom, hold up," Bellamy responded, looking in Wells' direction. "You want it back? Take it."
Wells stared Bellamy down for a few moments before tossing the rest of the clothes on the ground. A nearby group of delinquents ran over, sifting through the pile.
"Is this what you want? Chaos?" Wells asked.
Bellamy smirked. "What's wrong with a little chaos?"
"A little chaos goes a long way with a bunch of criminals," I responded, knocking into Bellamy's shoulder as I walked past him.
Just as I reached Wells, the sound of yelps filled the air. We all exchanged glances before running off in the direction it was coming from.
"Bellamy, check it out," Murphy spoke, holding a girl's head over a fire. "We want the Ark to think the ground is killing us, right? I figured it would look better if we suffered a little first."
"Let her go!" Wells rushed over, shoving Murphy to the ground. He looked to Bellamy, shaking his head. "You can stop this."
"Stop this? I'm just getting started."
With that, Murphy swung at Wells, clocking him in the cheek. As Wells fell back slightly, Murphy continued to beat on him while others cheered him on.
"Stop it!" I screamed, though Bellamy grabbed my arm before I could place myself in the middle of the two boys.
Wells backed away, limping slightly. "Don't you see you can't control this?" He asked, looking at Bellamy.
"You're dead." Murphy declared, pulling out a knife.
"Wait," Bellamy spoke, letting go of my arm. He reached into the pocket of his pants, pulling out a knife and tossing it on the ground in front of Wells. "Fair fight."
I looked at Bellamy, stunned.
Wells stared at Murphy for a moment before looking down at the knife. He finally knelt down, picking up the knife before rising to his feet again. Murphy was the first to swing, Wells swinging back. Eventually, Murphy sliced Wells' arm.
"This is for my father!" Murphy called out, going to swing again.
Wells dodged the swing, grabbing Murphy and putting him in a headlock. "Drop it! Drop it!"
"Wells! Let him go."
I looked over, watching Clarke make her way down the hill, Finn following close behind. Wells did as she said, Murphy quickly charging back at him.
Bellamy quickly jumped in, grabbing Murphy. "Enough."
Octavia stumbled down the hill next, Monty assisting her. She had a piece of cloth wrapped around her leg, which she was limping on.
"Octavia!" Bellamy called out, rushing towards her. "Are you alright?"
Octavia nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine."
"Where's the food?"
Finn sighed. "We didn't make it to Mount Weather."
"What the hell happened out there?" I asked.
"We were attacked," Clarke responded.
"Attacked? By what?" Wells asked.
"Not what, who," Finn responded. " It turns out, when the last man from the ground died on the Ark, he wasn't the last Grounder."
"It's true," Clarke spoke. "Everything we thought we knew about the ground is wrong. There are people here, survivors. The good news is, that means we can survive. Radiation won't kill us."
"Yeah, the bad news is the grounders will."
I stood there, taken aback by Finn's words. "How is any of this possible? There's no way anyone could have survived the blast, let alone the radiation for the last hundred years."
Clarke shook her head. "I don't know, maybe they came from a bunker?"
"They definitely didn't come from space," Finn said.
Wells looked around. "Where's the kid with the goggles?"
"Jasper was hit. They took him." Clarke responded, looking at Wells' wrist. "Where's your wristband?"
I hadn't even noticed it was missing.
Wells glared at Bellamy. "Ask him."
Clarke turned to Bellamy, moving closer as she clenched her jaw. "How many?"
"Twenty-four and counting," Murphy spoke up.
"You idiots," Clarke said, shaking her head. "Life support on the Ark is failing. That's why they brought us down here. They need to know the ground is survivable again, and we need their help against whoever is out there. If you take off your wristbands, you're not just killing them. You're killing us!"
Bellamy's face fell pale, though he quickly pulled himself together. "We're stronger than you think. Don't listen to her. She's one of the privileged. If they come down, she'll have it good. How many of you can say the same?" He asked, looking around. "We can take care of ourselves. That wristband on your arm? It makes you a prisoner. We are not prisoners anymore! They say they'll forgive your crimes. I say you're not criminals! You're fighters, survivors! The Grounders should worry about us!"
People began cheering, once again eating up every stupid word he said. How could they be so blind?
"What do we do now?" I heard Monty whisper to Clarke.
"Now we go after Jasper."
...
I followed Wells up the dropship ladder, pulling myself up through the door behind him. Clarke sat in the middle of the room, packing items into her backpack.
"There you are," Wells said.
I took a deep breath, exhaling loudly. "When your father said they didn't leave us anything, he wasn't kidding."
Clarke looked over at us, her eyes falling on the gash on Wells' arm from his knife fight with Murphy. Wells looked away. "It's just a scratch."
"You're making friends fast." Clarke sighed, looking at me. "How about you?"
"No knife fights yet, but Bellamy is tempting me."
Clarke smiled slightly before turning her attention back to Wells. "Keep it covered. It could get infected." As Wells adjusted the strap of his bag, Clarke smiled again. "Nice pack."
"Yeah, seat belts and insulation." Wells smiled. "I also packed part of the parachute, figured we could use it to carry Jasper back to camp."
"Good," Clarke said. "Give it to someone else. You're not coming with us."
Wells shook his head. "My ankle is fine."
"It's not your ankle Wells, it's you," Clarke responded, making her way down the ladder.
I climbed down the ladder after Clarke, Wells following after me. "I get to come though, right? Being stuck at this suck ass camp is driving me insane."
"Yeah, we could use another person."
"You came back for reinforcements. I'm going to help." Wells pressed on.
Monty, who stood by the ladder, turned his attention to us. "Clarke, he's right. We need him. So far no one else has volunteered."
"I'm sorry, Monty. You're not coming either."
"Like hell I'm not," Monty responded. "Jasper's my best friend."
"You're too important. You were raised on Farm Station and recruited by Engineering. That's food and communication." Clarke pointed to Monty's head. "What's up here is going to save us all. You figure out how to talk to the Ark and I'll bring Jasper back."
Finn entered the dropship, stopping as he spotted us all.
"Are you ready to go?" I asked.
"I'm not going anywhere, and neither should any of you," Finn said. "That spear was thrown with pinpoint accuracy from three hundred feet away."
"So what, we let Jasper die? Not going to happen." Clarke replied. "Spacewalker? What a joke. You think you're such an adventurer. You're really just a coward."
"It's not an adventure, Clarke. It's a suicide mission."
Clarke shook her head, pushing past him and out of the dropship.
Wells stepped forward. "Build a wall. Use the fallen trees. I'll watch out for her."
As Wells left the dropship, I followed him towards Clarke. She now stood in front of Bellamy and Octavia, who sat together on a log.
"You guys are leaving? I'm coming too." Octavia spoke, attempting to stand up.
"No, not again," Bellamy spoke as he stood from the log, his voice stern.
"He's right, your leg's just going to slow us down," Clarke said, before focusing on Bellamy. "I'm here for you."
Wells raised an eyebrow. "Clarke, what are you doing?"
"I hear you have a gun," Bellamy smirked, lifting up his shirt slightly to reveal the gun tucked in his waistband. "Good. Follow me."
"Why would I do that?"
Clarke turned back to Bellamy, her eyebrows raised. "Because you want them to follow you, and right now, they're thinking only one of us is scared."
Without waiting for an answer, Clarke began heading off into the forest. Wells and I followed her, Bellamy and Murphy joining us not long after.
I wanted to go with Clarke to get away from these two idiots.
"Those guys aren't just bullies, Clarke. They're dangerous criminals." Wells said, his voice hushed.
"Good. I'm counting on it."
...
I followed close behind Clarke as she rushed through the forest, the boys staying further behind. She was avoiding Wells, that much was obvious. All I wanted to do was tell her the truth; that Wells hadn't been the one to turn her father in. I knew I couldn't though.
"Do you really think we'll find Jasper?" I asked. "Finn mentioned a spear. Odds are he wouldn't have survived that."
Clarke didn't answer, her eyebrows furrowing more than previously.
I watched as Bellamy sped up, getting closer to myself and Clarke. "Hey, hold up." He spoke, pulling out his gun. "What's the rush? Like Athena said, you don't survive a spear to the heart."
"Put the gun away, Bellamy," Wells demanded.
Murphy stepped in front of Wells. "Why don't you do something about it?"
Clarke shook her head. "Jasper screamed when they moved him. If the spear struck his heart, he'd have died instantly. It doesn't mean we have time to waste."
Bellamy grabbed her arm. "As soon as you remove your wristband, we can go."
Clarke jerked her arm out of his grip. "The only way the Ark is going to think I'm dead is if I'm dead. Got it?"
"Brave princess," Bellamy smirked.
"Why don't you find your own nickname?" I hadn't noticed Finn following us. "You call this a rescue party? Got to split up, cover more ground. Clarke, come with me."
Clarke smiled, turning around and following Finn.
Bellamy shook his head, turning his attention to me. "What about you, Athena? Ready to remove your wristband yet?"
"Not in a million years," I said. "You might not have anyone who gives two shits about what happens to you down here, but I do."
With that, I turned around and began heading off in the direction Finn and Clarke went. There was no way I was going to give up my wristband. As much as I would love for my father to wonder if I was alive, I knew I couldn't do that to my mother.
...
"Hey, how do we know this is the right way?" Murphy asked.
Clarke and Finn had found Jasper's goggles by the river, and we were now following the blood trail left alongside it.
"We don't," Bellamy said. "Spacewalker thinks he's a tracker."
"It's called cutting sign. Fourth-year Earth Skills, he's good." Wells looked over Finn's shoulder.
Finn turned around. "You want to keep it down or should I paint a target on your backs?"
Finn began following the blood trail further, myself and Clarke staying close behind him. I kept swatting the air around me, growing more annoyed by the bugs and all the bites I could feel covering my skin.
"Too bad they didn't send us with bug spray," Clarke spoke softly.
I raised my eyebrow. "That's a thing?"
"You never paid attention in Earth Skills."
"I never thought it would matter," I said. "I knew they expected the ground to be survivable soon, but I didn't think we'd ever actually get down here. Not in our lifetime at least."
The sound of moans filled the air, causing us all to stop in our tracks.
"What the hell was that?" Murphy asked.
Clarke looked at Bellamy. "Now would be a good time to take out that gun."
The moaning continued and we followed it, coming across an open field. Across the way was a tree, and my jaw dropped as I noticed what was strung from it.
"Oh my god."
"Jasper?" Clarke gasped, rushing forward.
"Clarke, watch out!"
Suddenly the ground fell from beneath Clarke. Bellamy lunged forward, grabbing her hand. I watched as he stared down at her, not pulling her up. The rest of us came to his aid, grabbing Clarke and pulling her back up from the hole.
As everyone gasped for air, I peeked into the hole. It was filled with spikes.
"Are you okay?" Finn asked.
Clarke nodded. "We need to get him down."
"I'll climb up there and cut the vines."
"I'm with you." Wells offered.
"No," Finn said. "You and Athena stay with Clarke, and watch him." He eyed Bellamy, a scowl forming across his face. "Murphy, you're with me."
Clarke took a deep breath. "There's a poultice in his wound."
"Medicine?" Wells asked. "Why would they save his life just to string him up as live bait?"
"Maybe what they're trying to catch likes its dinner breathing," Bellamy suggested.
"Maybe what they're trying to catch is us." Finn frowned.
Finn and Murphy worked on cutting Jasper down, while Wells was checking in on Clarke and Bellamy and I stood off to the side.
A bug landed on my arm, causing me to swat it, crushing it against my skin. I quickly wiped the blood away, causing Bellamy to laugh.
"What?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.
Bellamy shrugged. "Nothing, It's just- from what Octavia's said, I never would've guessed you'd be afraid of bugs."
"I'm not afraid of them," I mumbled. "I just don't want them touching me."
"Just wait until the hornets come out."
My eyes grew wide. "Hornets?"
He simply laughed, looking over at Finn and Murphy.
As I continued to swat the bugs away, a deep growl came from the forest surrounding us.
"What the hell was that?" Murphy asked.
"Grounders?" Bellamy suggested.
The growling continued to grow louder until finally, a pair of yellow eyes came out of the forest. It was a large black cat, unlike anything I'd seen before.
"Bellamy, the gun!" Clarke called out.
Bellamy reached for the gun, patting around but unable to feel it.
The cat lunged forward, Bellamy grabbing me and yanking me out of its line of sight. Suddenly the sound of gunshots filled the air, the cat falling to the ground.
I looked around, my eyes landing on Wells, who held the gun in his shaky hand. Clarke stood next to him, looking back and forth between him and the cat.
"Now she sees you," Bellamy spoke through shaky breaths.
I gasped for air, not realizing I'd been holding my breath. "I hate Earth already."

okay i'm weirdly intrigued by this idea you mentioned about your ship pairings and i want to know about a few you mentioned in particular, vegaspete/kinnporsche, bellarke (girl u good?), fortpeat/prapaisky, firstkhao/raysand and if you wanna explain a few others feel free
HA! I really thought that post was just gonna float off into the tumblr ether never to be addressed again.
okay, so. i don't really know how to explain it in further detail other than to say that pete can go off and make out with porsche, or arm, or some rando and i'd be like, cool, go baby, you do you. but if vegaspete were even just a thought in vegas' head and he goes off and fucks someone else i am claws out, will fight you to the death motherfucker. anyone comes near vegas and i will literally poison them myself. it makes me jittery knowing he was such a slutty slut before pete. it's almost like i'm jealous on pete's behalf. but i guess it also doesn't help that i know probably half the men he fucked before he probably didn't even want to fuck. and that makes my head hurt. i know it's not rational. but it's where my brain goes sometimes.
and yet kinnporsche is the complete opposite. kinn is a slutty slut before porsche and i am all here for him slutting it up even when kp were getting their flirt on and trying to 'forget about their night together' i was all for him trying to rough up that little twink. but if kp is just at the looking but not touching stage and porsche goes off with someone else i'm gonna rip the other person to shreds. male? female? idgaf, i'll come for you.
bellarke. HA. am i good you ask? oh. i'm barely clinging onto my sanity. but bellarke was so much fun before it all went to shit. my bisexual queen clarke could fuck whoever she wanted (except finn because ew girl) and it did not bother me one bit. i shipped the fuck out of her and niylah, oooft. but the moment bellamy got with someone else i wanted to rip their throats out with my bare teeth. do not get me started on blecho.
fortpeat and firstkhao (i view these differently because they're real people and not characters so it's not necessarily about them being a couple, more who they are partnered with)
fortpeat. some BN and FP fans might have me destroyed for admitting this, but i would fucking murder to see peat and boss being paired up for at least one project. i think they'd work so fucking well together and their chemistry would be FIRE. but the thought of fort being paired with someone other than peat makes my tummy hurt. prapaisky might actually be my only exception actually. i don't like the thought of either of them being with anyone else.
firstkhao are the same. i've seen first paired with multiple people and i am OBSESSED with that boy. he has chemistry with literally everyone. he could flirt with a tree and i'd ship it. but the thought of khao and anyone other than first makes me sad. but their only friends characters have already started having the affect on me. i want to see sand being a slutty slut and making his sex money and making ray jealous. but the thought of ray and anyone not sand is making me antsy.
i dunno. it's a weird thing my brain does with ships/pairings. there are no rational thoughts behind it. my brain just decides one of you is okay to be a massive slut and one isn't allowed within ten feet of someone who isn't the person i want them to be with.

I miss The 100. I started watching it around the time the second or third season came out? It was also when I started using Twitter more and an amazing group of people that were both Bellarke and Clexa found me and invited me to a chat group that was all about the love for the show, fans of both pairings in there. I made so many friends there, I even met someone from my own country and went to meet them personally! But time went on, some people left, others caused drama, new people came in, but it was never the same. I was super close with two of them until one became a Clexa “extremist” and, lately, I fell out of touch with the one I considered my best friend. I haven’t fully watched the last season yet, not after I learned what they did to Clarke and Bellamy’s story and how they made them so OOC. I want to, just to finish it up as it was my favorite show, but at the same time, I want to keep only the essence that made it my favorite show in my head, nostalgia aside. I’m just really disappointed with what they did with an amazing show that, at the time, brought together people with different ships and that’s big stuff when it comes to twitter culture.
P.S. I haven’t watched Game of Throne’s last season either so I’m not sure how much my nostalgia is playing a part here with The 100.
I think you have a right to your disappointment. We put a lot of energy and passion into the show and the community and it was really vibrant for a while, and the story just...screwed us and the characters over.
And we can't even say it wasn't kinda personal because JR didn't like the fans, and responded to the harassment from some of them by screwing over all of us.
And I personally don't understand how you could betray your own story like that, but I guess it's different in Hollywood where you're always looking for your next gig.
I'm still not 100% certain JR wasn't bought off by right wing groups to crush hope out of certain demographics that loved the show and the characters. There's my conspiracy theory. The last season didn't make sense. Unless he thought he could get a new show by catering to the people who didn't like feminists or queer folk or delinquents becoming heroes and who did like nazis and thought they should be the protagonists. But don't worry, you'll be rewarded in alien 'heaven'-- except you, you crazy little bisexual rebel. You're not worthy of heaven.
Tell me to stop.
I don't blame you for not wanting to see the last season. While there were quite a few answers and a bit of stuff that was really satisfying-- mainly for anyone who wasn't Bellamy or Clarke-- as a whole the story fell apart.
I think you should skip it and read fanfic instead.
As for the community? IDK
I think one of the things about growing up is how you kind of lose the old communities you had. People move away. Find new interests. Have fights. Get busy. They fall apart.
It doesn't mean that they weren't amazing and important for what they are, and we can still hold them in our memories and honor them for what they meant to us in that time.
But it happens a lot. And I guess it's part of life. So is being disappointed by things that you put a lot of energy into which didn't turn out to be what you thought they'd be.
Again. It doesn't mean they weren't valuable for what they were. It doesn't mean you can't still love them. It doesn't mean you have to forget the good stuff because it went sour.
The experience of being in love with the show and the fandom is still valid. Heart break or no.

independent & private & low activity for an original character named jules roberts set in the cw's the 100.  written by lacy,  25+,  she/her, cst.
carrd (coming soon) / multi / belly conklin / alex claremont-diaz / lane kim / sarah cameron / clarke griffin / aurora taylor
temp guidelines under the cut until i make my carrd + jules' backstory
01. my name is lacy and i’m 25+ years old. i’m an aries with my moon in sagittarius, cancer ascendant and i have no idea what any of this means. i'm not affiliated with the cw, the 100, spencer rain or anything at all.
02. the psd i’m currently using was made by stephysource and icon border was made by me, but i’ll also use various psds from various creators. all credit really goes to them and none to me. i’ll probably use psd’s by venuscommissions, plutocommissions, calisources and more. if you ever have any questions, please feel free to shoot me a message. i promise, i don’t bite.
03. i will probably practice exclusivity and mains and affiliates, but at the moment i don't have any.
04. i ask that you please not follow me and then unfollow me to follow me again and try to get me to follow you. that will not make me follow you, it’ll just make me softblock you and then hardblock if it continues. also, please don’t like my starter calls or send me meme’s if we’re not mutuals. i am mutuals only.
05. i don’t usually write smut, but if i'm really comfortable with another person then i don't mind giving it a try. i do ask that you please tag your smut though and don't try to force me to write it.
06. i will not follow people that use certain faceclaim’s. gal gadot, chris pratt, ezra miller, scarlett johansson and more probably. if you have questions about why then just send me an ask and i’ll let you know. i’m uncomfortable with them and i just want to be comfortable on my blog.
07. i am extremely slow and i honestly can't help that. i have a full time job and at the moment am only getting one day off a week. it's exhausting, but i'm doing my best.
so, jules would be an illegal second child. she was a hidden jules ha ok. her family was in the alpha station. she was hidden in the wall until she was seven years old and that was when she was found and locked up. both of her parents were floated and her elder sister, who was about two years older than her so only nine, had to be taken in by another family. jules was weeks away from her eighteenth birthday when they were all sent down to the ground and she probably would've gone along with bellamy at first, mostly cause she wanted to make friends and it seemed the easiest way would be to go along with everything. now she can either find out from one of the other delinquents who might've known her sister or found out when they ended up connected to the ark, but her sister was floated about a month before they were sent to earth. she'd tried to bribe some of the guards so that she could go and see jules, but since she was over eighteen, she was floated. and i'll write up more of her stuff later, but you get the gist.
