「✘」The first thing Akihisa Okazaki noticed about the day was that she wanted it to be over. But, alas, she could not just skip it — she was forced to attend. It was something by the name is Meister Mix-Up day, where weapons would apparently change partners for a day and learn how to deal with working with others.

     She had been asked to pair up with a boy named Ajax, and although when they described him to her the male did not seem too bad, she knew that they had a habit of making things as hard as possible for the students.

     That was why, right in front of the DWMA, were masses of students, all wearing nametags like they did on the very first day of school, stating whether they were a weapon or meister. Aki peered into the crowd for her temporary partner, hoping to find him soon so that she could escape from this suffocating crowd.
