Week 12.2 - LAST CLASS OF THE YEAR WHATATTATATAT
Got some real good feedback from Raul! I’m excited to implement this and get betterrrrrr :)))
Adjust sizing from 1m away - Tipu increase the sizing on the sleeve.
Therefore, the Tipu on the box should be smaller.
Info about the product (nectar-infused, biodegradable, garden string) - 3 lines. “Garden string” in a bigger typeface size.
TIP: volume of type = size and colour.
Legal requirements - 80m on sleeve
Legal requirements - made in New Zealand on sleeve or one of the side panels.
Tipu on side panel if the product is stacked differently.
About Us - too much copy on the panel so split it into 2 across 2 different panels.
Base colour at the bottom? - Dark green.
Back of the sleeve could showcase instructions or a pattern.
Put the word “string” on package on the box.
Show how to open/use packaging as a demo on Tumblr but also the brand book.
POSTER:
Pink, red and yellow sleeve (not necessarily different “flavours” but also just for aesthetic variation.
Remove the ellipses.
Somewhere show on the poster what is the product? STRING1=!
Text format be better
Margins and space balance
Design systems of illustration.

While I am not a Boston Bruins fan I would like to take a moment to express my admiration and appreciation for Mr. Bergeron's career and the fact that he dressed up like Elmo for a Halloween zoom call with kids at a children's hospital.
Cheers, sir. We salute you.

Gotta give Beyonce kudos 4 taking care of Family in the Maryland/ DC Metro Area. A Rain Delay pushed back her Show Time @ FEDEX Field past the End of Public Transit Service. While other Entertainers spend $100K on gaudy jewelry, Beyonce spent $100K to keep ALL 90+ TRAIN STATIONS OPEN. This gesture is why the 'BeyHive' remains loyal. When We talk about Black 'Kings' & 'Queens', it's not in the European perspective, but rather in the sense of a Role Model presenting a Standard of Behavior 4 others 2 follow.
I have my critique of Beyonce, but I also give Credit when it's due. It's pretty clear that she takes her role as 'Queen Bee' seriously. Her concern 4 the welfare of her fans is obvious; I also find it refreshing. I hope that other Entertainers follow her example, but imagine if All of Us showed a basic concern 4 Our neighbors?
-Well done Bey!

Wow I was desperate for a new platform to be on after closing my #twitter account on Monday.
Fifteen years since i joined, worked there at the beginning. #soma
Definitely going through withdrawal. AAAH the toxic threads, people being pissy to me and each other, BUT following PBS Newshour and Lisa Desjardins and Tamara Cook oooh how I miss them now.
What to do what to do.
Write here I guess. Hi again #tumblers!

Thanksgiving Play
Before school was dismissed for Thanksgiving break, the kindergarten class puts on their annual Thanksgiving Play. This year, the students were led by Senior Mallory Branek, a teacher's aide for the class.
Students were able to present their play to the WHOLE student body just before the One-Act team performed "Lafayette No. 1."

Week 12.1 - Feedback
^feedback
Their feedback (typed out):
Tipu on the side (for brand visibility) and for a definition.
Minimum barcode size with the right contrast (barcodeproduct.co.nz)
Bigger point size (by 0.5pt)
Gap in the information on the front.
On the sleeve: homemade happiness lower (positioning)
TIP: printed content - paper face down.
My own feedback:
Adjust measurements of the inner box petals.
Experiment with the beelines to be “sketchy” and hand-drawn.
Put notches on both sides.
Thicker gsm for the bottom section.
About us at the bottom and definition/significance of the word “tipu” on the side.
Bring in the blobby organic shapes?
Barcode on the bottom of the sleeve.
David’s Feedback:
Tipu is ... (but no eclipses) e.g. “bees making your sweet peas”
Increase “homegrown happiness” and decrease “Tipu”
Maori version of the text - definition/translation on one of the sides.
Relate to endangered bees - Tipu donates to bees.
Logo: koru symbolism or hands + plants in the same illustrative style.
Put in more than one tomato on the poster.
Advert: 3 plants that bleed off.
Advert: Hands with the packaging opened up with the same illustrative style - “How does your garden tipu?”
