Meet my Classicaloid OC inspired by the violinist Niccolò Paganini!

I haven't drawn him or any OC of mine in a while, so making this felt very special :)

(DO NOT READ UNDER THE CUT; CRINGE LIES AHEAD) (explaining my design because I actually really like the portrayal of mozart in CL and I wanted to put my 2c into his myth)

i know this has been done before like a million times but i NEED to contribute… hes my silly guy… the most toxic of all men…

… the obligatory Salieri classicaloid 🥳

hes just.. so comically emo in every piece of media he shows up in and I was so surprised to see he never gets a classicaloid design🥲

i gave him elements from MOR, amadeus the film, AND amadeus the original play 🫡 his design in MOR basically already looks like an anime character, so i kept the emo fringe and some of the facial hair. his baton is also a dagger, inspired by l’assasymphonie (sorry)

hes wearing basically all black because the costuming directions found at the beginning of the play state that he should always be seen in black or very dark colors, which i think is really amusing (even if it makes for a dense design lol). it fits w his character as a foil to mozart who in the play/film is always seen in pastels and bright colors. moz wearing mostly all pink in CL is a cute detail !!

the cloak + tri-corner hat come directly from the film/play, and the character who stands outside mozart’s window counting down the deadline of his requiem. it’s also interesting how Don Giovanni is portrayed dressed as this character as well, but I’m not about to analyze a 3 hour film below a post about anime 💀

Copernicus — Super Science Friends

Made him for the sillies. I can't think of a good power for him.. It's either rotating stuff or like... Uhhhh planets.

He's only close to Tesla n Darwin. He's afraid of Freud.

Vivaldiloid — Classicaloid

This is a whole ass redo on him. His first design was a fluffy haired old twink. Also changed his hair cuz his last hair doesn't really fit him.... Now he looks like Schubert with long hair...

He's literally the dad of all classicaloids other than Bach (aka his lover aahah oc x canon)

Beethoven — Record Of Ragnarok

My fav till the end. I love my silly German composer. Also drawing him blushing is addicting for some reason.

Pretty much just Beethoven... Or just look at my intro post for him.

Paganini — Fate Grand/Order

He's just a silly goofy guy who flirts with everyone and adopts every kid he sees /hsrs. Very fun to draw tho... What's wrong with me and drawing Italians with long hair...

Pretty chill, made him a devil cuz uhhh #devil'sviolinist. Basically just Paganini but flirst with literally everyone... Not all the time duh.

He’s Arthur Sullivan, I just thought it would be funny if his musik is “a very model of a modern major general” but he needed Sousuke to sing, but he didn’t know the lyrics so he just ends up using pad-kun’s terms and conditions as the lyrics in a panic.

I draw most stuff on impulse and saw a Liszt fanart (it's his bday today (22 oct) I think) and it spiraled into classicaloid nostalgia, here it is, my fave irl and in anime my dude Chopin 🙏

Favorite absolute loser in the anime, uses vocaloids in his songs/musik, never touching grass or seeing the sunlight, spirals in a social anxiety attack and summons towers of cardboard to protect himself on his first introduction to the show. Surprisingly one of the only composers that actually pays the rent in the house...

(so close to put on the "erm" glasses on and yap abt that vocaloid song used in guardians of the galaxy 3 and how it's actually a classicaloid ost originally and other stuff related that ticked me off hhhgsrehh)

Assorted Ikutsuki , Maruki and Nurse tan doodles. Featuring explorations of them as kids and a musical au because Franz Schubert from Classicaloid looks so much like Shuji and I had brain worms. Also made an old man oc to kiss Ikutsuki and Maruki on the mouth more so. Yeah.

Time to ramble & store my ClassicaLoid OC and shit in this blog ✨

These are the new ones I have planned!

Arkheloids, using the old name of Classicaloids, were created by Kyougo Otowa, after he created Wagner and Dvorak. However they don’t affiliate with the Classicaloids – some have interacted with them. Some of the Arkheloids live on Debussy’s yacht, such as; Debussy, Paganini, Ravel, Satie, Boccherini, Vivaldi, and Shostakovich… accompanied by one human; Cathe, who is forced to be included on their adventures exploring.

✨ HAYDN

Meet Haydn who is an ArkheLoid! So far I only have colored her normal form, but I have designed her Musik form. She only speaks in German and she is a soprano singer! Haydn shows affection to everyone + Mother figure. Would listen to your problems. Always surprises her friends during their birthday. She loves to be called “Mama Haydn” if her close ones are comfortable with calling her that, it would melt her heart.

✨HANDEL

Handel is a ArkheLoid who works as a Lawyer, and he is the oldest among all of the ArkheLoids.

His eyes are sensitive to light, he wears sunglasses most of the time. Able to read people, and sometimes provide emotional support.

His Musik power is able to harmonize other Classicaloid’s Musik. This also allows him to control other’s Musik. Only he can stop everyone’s abilities. There is also another that allows him to use another Classicaloid's Musik against themselves. His transformation catchphrase is "let the cadence of my words resonate within the chambers of your soul" (In German: Lass den Kadenz meiner Worte in den Kammern deiner Seele widerhallen.)

I have no sketches or concepts yet. But I can only vision him being 6'6 ft and wears something formal/dark academia themed.

✨SHOSTAKOVICH

“Who the fuck is Hairy Paw Her?”

He is stoic and shy, unless you talk about soccer. No worries, he’s very polite. Occasionally, he plays card games with Boccherini. He fidgets his hands a lot, and he twitches too. Most likely to be found using a laptop to create his piece or playing games (if he's on land). Communicates with Chopin through the internet, they never saw each other in real life. They would often play online co-op games.

I have no complete reference for him yet, but I have sketched out the concept. It may change in the future.

I am currently working on a one-shot comic of him and it involves Chopin too! 16/18 pages has been sketched out and it will only be in monochrome colors, so stay tuned if you are curious to read the comic. 🕺✨

✨ VIVALDI

One hit wonder: the sequel (4 seasons).

He is an ArkheLoid with a slender and feminine body type. His hair color is dyed depending on the season he is in (mint, yellow, orange, or white color). Owns a camera, he brought it everywhere (especially when he’s traveling).

I have no concepts/sketch for him yet.

✨ANCENE CATHE

Cathe is a human who is involved with ArkheLoid's shenanigans. Before she is an independent comic creator, she worked at Arkhe's Talent Agency as an Art Director. For years working on Arkhe, she got fired due to “lack of creativity” and "inefficiency" (she intended to do that).

Cathe easily gets seasick, and she has thalassophobia. It is a challenge for her to stay in Debussy's yacht for the ArkheLoid's voyage.

✨ANZU MIZUMOTO

Anzu, who is Cathe's best friend, works at Arkhe's Talent Agency as the receptionist (night shift) -- on some occasion, she works as the canteen’s waitress. She is that person who has a crush on everyone she talks to, but her feelings towards them only last for a few days. Secretly reads smut to keep her up at her night shift. Cathe’s best friend, she also has a crush on her - and Cathe is too dumb to notice it.

I have no concepts of her yet. However, I can only imagine that she wears formal clothes (suit and skirt), appears to be taller than Cathe.
