The Ancient Kingdom of Japoor. First map I've really drawn since the theft. I had three unfinished projects in amongst all the art that was stolen. They were The Purple Realms, The Age Forgotten, and The Desert of the Screaming Winds. The Age Forgotten and The Desert of the Screaming Winds I do have scans of those maps. Sadly The Purple Realms was not finished and I only have progress photos of it. The theft took the wind out of my sails for awhile but I am bouncing back. My take on the city of Specularum as shown in the original BX expert books. It was originally portrayed a frontier city, a port city but not the sprawling metropolis that they later portrayed it in the Gazetteers. Kind of disappointed though. I used Uni pinfineliners and they say waterproof but they started smearing even after giving them almost 30 minutes to dry. Oh well. This was just a fun project, not a commission.
