CV | Some of the Strays

Doctor Temperance Talbot was the scientist behind Project Fauna and the first antagonist the Outbackers opposed. Despite dying in the first arc at the hand of Burnum Hayes, she continues to haunt the team. She is often referred to as 'that bitch' and has had several copycats.

Leon Lewis Sr, alias Sabertooth, is an ex-squadmate of Burnum Hayes and Garroth Grey. Unlike his squadmates, he was aware of the military's testing and was chosen to test out the sabertooth dna on. After a lot of experimentation, he was let go unceremoniously and worked to escape Australia with his son no matter the cost knowing the government would not like him to stay around.

He was foiled by the Outbackers, but they allowed him to leave with his son. After a tough call, Leon decides his son is safer without any connection to him and the vigilante team helps him fake his death.

Leon 'Leo' Lewis Jr, alias Saber, is the biological son of the original Sabertooth and an unknown woman. After being informed of his father's death, he injected himself with the same dna his father was injected with to get revenge on the Outbackers.

In the future, Leo takes on his father's full mantle and continues to fight against the Outbackers.

Asuka Ryder, alias Gleam, is a former student of the Celestial Academy who stowed away to Australia after his attempt on his brother's life was revealed. On his own, he tracked down Leo and teamed up with him to get revenge though he ultimately decides not to carry out his side of revenge.

In the future, it is revealed Ryder injected himself with emu dna and goes by the alias Dromaius. He is shown to be married to Leo.

Kieth Radcliff, alias Red Kanga, is a former squadmate and Burnum Hayes' ex-fiance. He is the founder of the Roos, mercenaries for hire who utilize kangeroo based dna. His team are often goons for bigger threats.

He is the main antagonist of the Rattus and Dingo crossover event, where it is revealed that he left Burnum at the altar. Despite trying to get back together with Burnum, in the end his interference is what led the two title characters together.

Ripley Radcliff, alias Wallaby, is the nephew of Kieth and works as a member of the Roos. He is shown to have a crush on Terran Hayes. Unlike his uncle, he takes the rejection in stride. In the future he joins Leo and Asuka's team, and fights the Outbackers.

Jacob Radcliff, alias Joey, is the nephew of Kieth and works as a member of the Roos. Unlike the romantic escapades of his brother and uncle, Joey is solely interested in the Roos and making them a force to be reckoned with though he isn't taken seriously by the other members as the runt.

On the day of Dingo and Rattus' wedding, Jacob finds his uncle drinking. Seizing the opportunity, Jacob kills his uncle in his drunken state and claims the Roos his own. Under the alias Kanga King, he slowly turns the Roos into to a criminal empire.

CV | The Rat Pack

The Rat Pack is the name for the network of crimefighters who operate in and around New York City, with Rattus as its head. Several of the individuals work at Kraft Entertainment.

There aren't many of them at the moment as they are underdeveloped.

The Original Trio

Will Cade (Rattus) is the founder of the Rat Pack. After the murder of his mother, he was sent to live with his godmother Kraft until he and his pseudo-brother Issac left for New York City in order to establish their game company. Initially not interested in using his powers for good, he ultimately became a vigilante to protect his friends.

Issac Kraft is Will's childhood friend and pseudo-brother after he came to live with the Krafts after his mother's murder. He runs the coding side of their indie game company, and he becomes Will's man in the chair. He is the inventor of FLEAS, small nano bugs that can transmit and record audio.

Marianna Guerra Ramiro is Issac and Will's friend and third business partner. She was the first person outside of Will's family to learn about his rat transformation and was there when he started his vigilante career. She handles the business side of their company.

Other Members

Liam Cade (Gnaw/Rattus II) is the illegitimate son of Will Cade and a currently unnamed ex-boyfriend. He inherited Will's ability to transform into a giant rat and sought out his other father to learn how to control it. He later joins the Hero Network's sanctioned youth team the Apprentices, where he is the second-in-command.

Hiro Ito (Virus) is a teenager from the eighties who was trapped in an old arcade machine while trying to escape a serial killer. Released by Issac, Hiro masquerades as an intern at the trio's company while they search for their parents. They were one of Liam's first friends, and in the future, they serve as Liam's person in the chair. Their time in the machine gave them control over technology and teleportation.

In general, the Outbackers are considered an extension of the Rat Pack and vice versa due to the romantic relationship between Will Cade and Burnum Hayes. In particular, Terran and Arisa Hayes make quite a few appearances as Will's step-children.

The Last Resort Call

Sanya Rezník (Queen Plague) is a mafia boss who simultaneously opposes and aligns herself with the Rat Pack. She is a dark cloud that hangs over Will's life, if he breaks their agreement to send her the criminals he catches she'll take him to torture instead. She uses criminals as lab rats to test her vast poisons, toxins, and more. She is one of the few villains that even the Hero Network wishes to not tangle with as she is considered so dangerous and causes so much trauma that the spirit of trauma wants to make her its queen.

There are three main players in this mess: Dingo, Rattus, and Red Kanga.

Dingo is an ex-military pilot who was discharged due to getting too close to a government conspiracy. He is the leader of an Australian vigilante group called the Outbackers (at least the first iteration).

Rattus is a game developer who can shapeshift into a giant rat at will, and becomes one of the richest people in the general Classverse continuity.

Red Kanga is another military man, and is one of the major first generation rogues of the Outbackers.

Now for the mess!

Dingo and Rattus are each other's primary love interests. They met while Rattus was on a mission in Australia, and Rattus essentially agreed to pay for Dingo's daughter's gender affirming care in exchange for one date because everyone is a disaster.

Red Kanga is Dingo's ex-fiance. That's right, not ex-crush, not ex-boyfriend, but EX-FIANCE. To understand how serious the two were Red Kanga's nephews knew Dingo as an uncle.

Now, why are they ex-fiances?

It is because Red Kanga did something stupid.

Essentially, Dingo overheard Red Kanga considering leaving him at the altar which pissed Dingo off. Now it was a breaking point from other things but Dingo called the entire thing off and left.

Dingo later meets Rattus, and the two eventually end up getting married.

Red Kanga is VERY hung up on Dingo, and the worst part is he knows it was his fault that the relationship splintered into a million pieces. In my notes, the day he found out Dingo got married he drank the entire day because he SCREWED up and lost a good man.
