so, some of you may have questions.

what happened to cloudytrees?

i’ve deleted all my old posts and the username has been moved to a sideblog in case if i ever want to reuse the username.

why’d you switch blogs?

i no longer felt joy in posting white aesthetic pictures and blogging felt less like a hobby and more like a job. you could see before i stopped posting because i didn’t feel the “fun” in it anymore. instead i was mainly on my musical theater blog @suttonsfoot blogging things about musical theater because that’s something i’ve always enjoyed!

what the hell is this blog now?

if you couldn’t tell by my graphics, it’s now a kpop blog (bts & exo mainly) because within the past few months i’ve gotten back into kpop after like a 4 year hiatus and whenever i post something about kpop on my musical theater blog, i’m pretty sure my followers are thinking “what the fuck is this” when my posts come up on their dash. so instead, i’ve just decided to create a whole new blog to spare my musical theater followers from my fangirling lmao.

okay, what the eff is ‘cloudytrees’ and who are you?

well, to answer that first question, cloudytrees was my first blog i made on tumblr for white aesthetic posts, but then as i said above, i lost interest in blogging that kind of stuff and now i’ve changed my blog to this shithole lmao. and for your second question, my name is elaine and i am a proud army and exo-l! (≧▽≦)

what are some things about you?

my name’s elaine!

i’m a female, so i use the pronouns she/her

i’m chinese-american, and i am fluent in english and mandarin! (i actually listen to exo’s chinese versions of their music most of the time because then i can kinda understand what they’re saying lmao)

my bias in bts is jungkook (even tho my user is about yoongi whoops, but he’s a close second), and in exo it’s baekhyun (chanyeol & sehun are extremely close seconds tho)

i got into kpop years ago (mainly snsd & tbh i don’t know exactly when i got into kpop but it was atl 4-5 years ago) and i just kinda drifted away from it as time went on, but i started listening again a few months ago and now the kpop fandom has reeled me back in

i loooooove musical theater, and my sideblog for that is @suttonsfoot!

i really miss luhan (he was my first bias in exo :(((), kris, and tao :(

i’m a figure skater and i absolutely loooove the sport (i’m in the midst of setting up a blog for that so ;))

like i said above, this blog is mainly bts and exo. i’ll mainly just be reblogging things, making short text posts on my thoughts about stuff, and posting icons and gifs. :) i also take icon requests, which you can do by going to my description! :D

Alright, let’s see if I can get to 10 (and they’re in no particular order bc I can’t choose among them): In The Heights, Hamilton, Wicked, Great Comet, On Your Feet!, Falsettos, West Side Story... And I think I ran out of musicals. We’ll get there eventually.

11. favourite musical on broadway right now:

Gotta go with Hamilton, cliché and all

13. favourite musical that’s never been on broadway:

I think...  every musical I actually know is been on Broadway. I really need to know some more.

14. favourite revival of a musical:

I’m really in doubt with this one but I think I’m gonna go with the Falsettos 2016 revival because perfect cast is perfect.

No Me Diga- What’s the funniest/juiciest piece of gossip you’ve ever gotten?

I won’t remember the specifics but what I always find the funniest (and what reminds me the most of the salon ladies) is people in my city will gossip about someone by refering to them as “the guy who works for the sister of the husband of that woman who [insert another piece of gossip completely unrelated but that works as a past reference]”. I totally get lost on the explanation and all the mentions to people I sometimes don’t even know, but they end up telling 3 different stories to get to the one they meant to. And tbh, thinking about it now, I guess I sometimes do the same with some of my friends to indicate who I’m talking about in a given situation, if we have enough shared background for that to make sense.
