realized i haven’t posted any new holiday clans character designs since LAST december which is simply unacceptable so here’s coastpaw at last! she’s the third and final protagonist in the overarching story, representing the summer/solstice clan, solclan, and her design and pose are directly referenced from this image (under the cut) because i saw the photo and went “oh my god that’s literally her” (down to the extremely sad wet eyes)

Sniff sniff (Moon 46)

Streamstar comes into the medicine den to sit next to Foxpaw.

He lay in his nest, but lifts his head when he notices her. "Foxpaw, you have reached twelve moons of age. I am going to give you your full name."

He blinks. "But..I didnt..I didnt complete warrior training?"

She sighs, and leans down to speak softly to him. "Foxpaw you are an adult, and if this injury takes you from us, I want Starclan to recognie you as an adult."

"Then make me a mediator. I'll at least have a chance to do my job. A mediator doesn't have to leave camp."

She nods. "I will ask the other mediators to teach you what they know."

"I can agree to that. I appreciate the thought, but I want to have earned it. I want it to be something I can do. Maybe I could find a way to be a warrior without the use of my hind legs, but there's no telling if I even have that kind of time or not."

"You are very mature for a young cat."

He gives a pitifully huff of a laugh. "I've been laying here for moons. Lot of time to think."

She nods and sighs. "I decided on Foxnose."

"I like it." He meows, and his ear flicks as a cat approaches.

Lightningspark trots up with a bundle of herbs. he places them down next to Foxnoses nest. He looks up, and gives an awkward smile. "O-oh. Streamstar, I'm sorry but its time to give Foxpaw his treatment."

"That's alright Lightningspark. His new name is Foxnose by the way."

"O-oh! Sorry Foxnose, congratulations!"

Streamstar leaps up onto the driftwood rock and calls her clan to her.

"Coastkit please step up."

He does so and bounds up eagerly.

"You are six moons old and ready to become an apprentice. You will be called Coastpaw, and your mentor will be Clovefleck."

Clovefleck comes up to touch noses.

"Sandkit please come up."

He comes up, giggling with excitement.

"You will be called Sandpaw, and your mentor will be Jinx."

She comes up and touches their noses.

A pair of kits are found and adopted by Alfalfasprout and Dawnsun.

A loner joins the clan. He takes on the name Daytimber.
