Coco missing her daddy, rolls a fatty
Why so sad?
Immersive bliss on a heating pad
Don’t leave her be, because you will see
5 seconds after this picture was taken
Coco proceeded to pee
Now that’s not very kind bb
Momma must clean and remind you of the very word she cringes to mutter
Please don’t scold me with an earful, oh brother
There’s always room to squat and make butter 💩

Oil is a scam?
In the past few weeks i have seen a lot of creators commenting on this topic. >>Is the process of oiling the hair after hydrating it (with water) truly necessary? And deos it even work?<<
The tipical Arguments against Oils are:
Oil contributes to the suffocation of the hair and scalp
Oil repels Water therfore after putting oil in your hair, your hair won't be able to absorb anymore water
Our scalp already produces its own natural oil ( called sebum) that is way using furthermore forgein oils on the hair is unecesarry
It is true our hair deos produce its own lipids but in the case of kinky hair its not enough to cover the entire hair, especially not our ends. That is the reason why we use oils. Oil and Sebum have a protective function. It protects the surface of the hair (the cuticle) from damage. Kinky hair has many gaps in its raised cuticle. That is the reason why kinky hair can absorb water quicker but it also loses it at the same rate. This could be the reason why even after hydrating the hair with water, it still feels dry. Lasting Hydartion of our Hair can only be achieved if we seal the water in the hair. This can be done with Oils but also Creams ( which consists of oil and water). That is why the LC, LCO and LO-Methods have been made up (L for Liquid, C for Cream, O for Oil) to help our hair to keep the Hydration for a longer period of time.
Tumblr media
When we put oil and water togheter, the oil stays on the surface because it's less denser than water and the water stays under the surface. Oils don't evaporate as quickly as water because they consist of a heavier molecular Structure in comparison to Water. The best way to seal the hair is to first hydrate and than put oil on it. If you do it the other way round your hair won't be able to absorb 100% of the water. Because the sealment that you used also protects the hair of absorbing to much water which is also not optimal. That is the reason why The >>L<< in the Methods I informed you before hand is always in the front. Seal your hair with having the density of your products in your mind. 1.The densest product(Liquid) 2.the less denser product 3. the more less denser product..... But be careful to not use to much for the sealment. That could truly lead to your hair not being able to absorb any Hydration anymore because its clogged. Always use products that can be rinsed of( like essential oils for example). Cocobutter and Shea butter might be to harsh for that. If you use it you have to wash your hair with a mild shampoo before hydrating and sealing again.
Heavy oils like coconut-oil are able to suffacte the scalp. But coconut-oil is mostly added to the hair after a protein treatment. It ensures that the the protein stays longer in the hair. I for myself have never heard of anyone that uses coconut-oil on their scalp.... But whatevs. Did you know that oiling the scalp with a drop of an essential oil everyday can increase hair-growth? It ensures that the blood is pumpimg better which effects your hair growth tremendously. Once a week is also okay, if you don't have that much time.
What truly matters when oiling the hair is the amount you use and what oil you use. Always remember the dose makes the poison!
I hope everyone learned something in this blog today.
There is more to come.

Blog Post #3
I enjoyed watching the 2020 Candyman more than the 1992 Candyman. The 1992 Candyman storyline used microaggressions and racism to villainize a Black man—Candyman—while using White savior tropes when Helen saves Cabrini-green.  A notable theme that was highlighted in the 2020 film, surrounded racial injustices such as police brutality against Black men. The 2020 Candyman describes that the original Candyman, a Black man named Sherman Fields, was brutally beaten by White police officers after being wrongfully accused of putting razor blades in children’s candy. Additionally, when Anthony is shot by police because they assume he killed Burke, this incident further emphasizes racial profiling and police brutality against Black people. In the 1992 Candyman, I noticed that there was familiar imagery from Birth of a Nation, surrounding harmful tropes like Black men violently going after White women.  One aspect of this week’s film that I found most striking was how Professor Due differentiates both films by explaining that the 1992 Candyman was Black trauma expressed through a white lens and the 2020 Candyman was Black trauma through a Black lens. For example, Jordan Peele’s Candyman highlights Black individuals in a respectable light like avoiding the unnecessary murder of Black people and Candyman not murdering Black characters, whereas the original Candyman does. I think that these differences reflect the social climate of the United States relating to racial justice as well as Black filmmakers having increasingly dominant roles in filmmaking. Black filmmakers can portray Black characters through a Black lens which avoids recirculating harmful racial tropes.
This week we also discussed a short story called “Pressure” by Ezra Clayton Daniels. “Pressure” is a science fiction, horror story that follows a biracial protagonist who visits his White family when strange and unnatural events happen as a result of his racist family. Daniels highlights the protagonist’s feelings of isolation while visiting his White family. He used Ezra’s relationship with the family dog, Scamper to shed light on his isolation as a Black man in a white family stating the dog was “...[his] entire support network in the years that your alienation first began to feel specific and namable”. Additionally, Andrew’s fascination with Ezra’s cocobutter and Ezra hiding it signifies his feelings of otherness and isolation from his White family. After Andrew is fascinated with the cocoa butter, the cocoa butter explodes in his bag. I think that this moment is important to highlight because when his feeling of otherness is at an all-time high, the pressure-building begins. I think that the horror of this mysterious pressure that puts their lives at risk, accompanied by his relative's racism represents the real-life horror of racism and otherness for Black individuals. I also theorized that this combustion could represent the build-up of racism and family isolation that Ezra experiences throughout his whole life, which is finally being released.

All about Speciality Fats - Different Types and Applications
When we think of the delightful taste and texture of baked goods, the smoothness of chocolates, or the creaminess of ice creams, we often don't realize the role of a hidden hero - shortening. Shortening SMP 36-39, Shortening SMP 39-42, Shortening SMP 48-50, and other grades tailored to client requirements play a pivotal role in various culinary creations. Margarine, cocobutter substitutes, and replacers also grace our kitchens with their versatility. Let us uncover the magic behind these ingredients, exploring their applications, and understanding their significance in crafting delectable bakery products, confectioneries, chocolates, and more.
The Essence of Shortening
Vegetable Shortening is an ingredient that quietly transforms your recipes, making them lighter, fluffier, and oh-so-delicious. But what is shortening, exactly? Think of it as a magician's wand for bakers and chefs. It's a fat-based ingredient that, when added to your dough or batter, works its magic by creating pockets of air. These pockets give your baked goods that irresistible texture we all love.
Shortening SMP 36-39: Versatility at Its Best
If shortening were a superhero, Shortening SMP 36-39 would be its versatile sidekick. This grade of shortening is your go-to choice when you need something that can handle a wide range of tasks. From flaky pie crusts to tender biscuits, it does it all. It's like having a Swiss Army knife in your kitchen, ready to tackle any culinary challenge.
Tumblr media
Shortening SMP 39-42: Balancing Act
Shortening SMP 39-42 is all about balance. Imagine trying to juggle multiple balls in the air – it's not easy, right? Well, this shortening grade makes it look effortless. It strikes the perfect balance between texture and flavor. When you want your pastries to be not too greasy but still full of flavor, this is the grade to turn to.
Shortening SMP 48-50: The Premium Choice
When you're aiming for nothing but the best, Shortening SMP 48-50 is your premium choice. This grade is like the fine wine of shortening – it elevates your recipes to a whole new level of sophistication. From delicate croissants to velvety frostings, it adds that touch of luxury that makes your creations truly exceptional.
Margarine: The Multifaceted Butter Substitute
Margarine is the chameleon of the culinary world. It can seamlessly replace butter in a wide range of recipes. Whether you're baking cookies, making a sandwich, or sautéing vegetables, margarine steps in with its creamy goodness. Plus, it's often lower in saturated fat, making it a healthier choice for many.
Tumblr media
Cocobutter Substitute: A Sweet Revolution
For chocolate lovers, cocobutter is like a cherished secret. But did you know there's a substitute that works wonders? Cocobutter substitute is a game-changer in the world of chocolates. It maintains that silky smoothness and glossy finish that we associate with the finest chocolates, but without the high price tag.
Cocobutter Replacer: The Chocolatier's Dream
Imagine being a chocolatier with endless possibilities. That's what cocobutter replacers offer. They give chocolatiers the freedom to experiment with different textures and flavors. Whether you're crafting molded chocolates or coating biscuits, these replacers are your creative canvas.
Tumblr media
Ice Cream Fat: The Cool Companion
Have you ever wondered why some ice creams are creamier than others? The secret lies in the type of fat used, and ice cream fat plays a crucial role. It ensures that your ice cream scoops are smooth and luscious, providing that indulgent experience we all crave.
Crafting Irresistible Bakery Products
Let's dive deeper into how these magical ingredients come together to create irresistible bakery products. Think about the flakiness of a croissant, the tenderness of a cake, or the crunch of a cookie – it all comes down to the choice of fats, and shortening and its variants are at the heart of it.
Confectionery Wonders: A Touch of Magic
Confectioneries are a world of wonders, where colors, shapes, and flavors blend harmoniously. Shortening, especially when used in confectionery, ensures that your candies and sweets have that perfect texture and melt-in-the-mouth goodness. It's the invisible artist that makes your treats truly delightful.
Chocolates That Melt Hearts
Speaking of treats, let's talk about chocolates. Chocolates are not just a treat for the taste buds; they're an emotional experience. The right choice of fats, like cocobutter substitute and replacer, ensures that your chocolates have that irresistible melt-in-the-mouth quality, leaving a lasting impression.
Biscuits with a Perfect Crisp
Who can resist the allure of a perfectly baked biscuit? Shortening SMP 36-39 and 39-42 play a vital role here. They create the ideal texture – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. It's like biting into a piece of heaven with every biscuit.
Ice Creams that Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth
Finally, let's cool down with a scoop of ice cream. Ice cream fat ensures that your favorite frozen dessert is not just cold but also creamy. It's what makes every spoonful a delightful experience. So, the next time you savor that ice cream cone, thank the fat that makes it so satisfying.
Conclusion: Elevating Culinary Creations
In the world of culinary arts, the role of fats like shortening, margarine, cocobutter substitutes, replacers, and ice cream fat is often overlooked. But as we've seen, they are quite important behind the scenes, creating the magic that makes our favorite treats and dishes unforgettable.
As we conclude our journey through the world of shortening and its companions, let's take a moment to appreciate the artistry of these ingredients. They are not just fats; they are the artisans of taste, the sculptors of texture, and the painters of flavor. They turn simple recipes into culinary masterpieces that touch our hearts and ignite our senses.
So, when you indulge in a flaky croissant, savor a piece of silky chocolate, or relish a scoop of velvety ice cream, remember the importance of these ingredients in your kitchen. They may not seek the spotlight, but they certainly deserve our gratitude for the joy they bring to our lives.
