There's something so poetic about how El is the centre of all the chaos, wanted by the government and military and Mike is her strong calm that doesn't hesitate to get sucked into her storm and stand by her side in the face of any conflict. Like guys. This little boy did not hesitate to protect her and stand off in the face of the government to defend her, going against all the typical patriotic rule-following norms of an American Suburbanite Middle class nuclear family. He comes from pure safe normalcy but doesn't hesitate to run in the other direction heading towards chaos and danger if it means she's there... because he feels safest with her and is driven by the instinct to protect her. 😭🩷 There's something so beautiful and inspiring about someone as hurt and troubled and chaotic as El being loved in such a simple, unconditional way. Mike doesn't see her for the chaos she represents which surrounds her, he sees her for the innocent goodness that she actually is— her calm, gentle demeanour and the warmth it makes him feel. He understands that all the danger that comes with being with her is through no fault of her own, and actively works to help combat all the forces against her. He knows that despite being the centre of the chaos she's not the cause of it, she's the remedy for the effect of it and that is an undeserved, exhausting punishment yet a burden she bears regardless without complaint— a sign of her innate goodness which Mike recognises and loves her for all the more. Even moreso, he works to share that burden with her and criticise it because he sees how innocent and undeserving she is of the responsibility infringed upon her. His willingness to take all of this on is so wholesome and exactly the kind of sweet effort-full love that a character like El deserves, which is so gratifying for the audience to see.

President John F. Kennedy's secret nuclear bunker on Peanut Island, near JFK's "Winter White House, La Querida, in Palm Beach, Florida. Given the codename "Detachment Hotel", the bunker was constructed by U.S. Navy Seabees and could hold roughly 30 people for about 30 days. The bunker was disguised as a munitions depot near a Coast Guard station and wasn't officially acknowledged by the government until 1974, nearly 13 years after JFK was assassinated.

President Kennedy had a similar bunker on Nantucket Island, near the famous Kennedy Compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts.

Russian & North Korean Underwater "Radioactive Tsunami" Drones

Russia and North Korea have both developed underwater uncrewed vehicles (UUVs) designed to carry nuclear warheads capable of generating catastrophic waves of radioactive water, threatening coastal cities and entire regions - called “radioactive tsunamis” by the Korean Central News Agency.

This significant and challenging threat is all the more dangerous because of a growing military collaboration called “Joint Sword,” including North Korea, Russia, Iran, China, and others. Russia and North Korea have officially signed a defense treaty, codifying their relationship.

Putin was first to publicly showcase such a weapon, described as a “doomsday device.” Russia’s Poseidon nuclear-powered torpedo is capable of creating destructive, radioactive waves that could wipe out entire coastal populations and infrastructures.

Concerns among global military strategists are sharp when it comes to Joint Sword’s uniquely capable UUVs.

The primary advantage of these weapons is their potential to launch surprise attacks on unsuspecting nations. Both Russia’s Poseidon and North Korea’s Haeil could, if deployed, create massive radioactive waves, not just inflicting devastating damage on coastal regions but also spreading fear and chaos through misinformation online, to which we are susceptible due to increasingly unreliable content on social media.

Perhaps most concerning is the West’s apparent lack of preparedness for these radioactive tsunami weapons - there is no indication that the US Navy has developed countermeasures designed to protect against such threats or to emulate their abilities. No US officials have so much as acknowledged the phrase “radioactive tsunami” as something they're aware of or addressing in any real way.

The stealth and unpredictability of these weapons is changing the dynamics of the world's growing conflicts, making military attacks more unpredictable and harder to defend against. Experts emphasize that such weapons will have severe psychological and other impacts, particularly if targeting major cities like New York, Los Angeles, or Tokyo, which lie along vulnerable coastlines.

Things that happen at home:

One of my 24 cousins: *buys me a nurf gun (for Christmas but very late delivery) with no ammo*

Me: *goes to the Most Evil Of Places and acquires ammo (Walmart is evil on so many levels, I don’t have time to explain, just trust me, it’s EVIL)*

My husband, immediately: *shoots me, unexpectedly, for over an hour* *like he FINDS spots in the house, hides in dark corners, lures me into thinking he’s in a specific spot with lights and his headphones and then BAM! Right in the forehead with a nurf bullet*

Me: *takes the two big nurf guns into work, leaving the one tiny little one shot nurf gun and exactly three (3) nurf bullets for my husband to ambush me with when I get home*

My husband, who does not disappoint: *calls me as soon as he wakes up to confirm if I hid them or took them, then STILL AMBUSHES ME AND NAILS ME IN THE FOREHEAD WITH ALL OF THE AMMO AT HIS DISPOSAL*

Me: *still going to take all the ammo and big guns to work so that he can only shoot me a little bit*
