Bentley T-Series, 1965. The oldest surviving T-Series has been restored and returned to the factory where it was made to become part of the Bentley Heritage Collection. Chassis number SBH1001 was used as a company trials car and featured in the original press coverage following the model's launch at the 1965 Paris Salon de l’Auto. The car was discovered after many years in storage and recommissioned over 18 months. I swear my boss is such a narcissistic brat. The company we work for is currently going through an audit for another state we do business in. He accuses me of accepting an invalid sales tax exemption certificate for that state and I’m confused because I’m usually very thorough. There’s a section on the form that for people who are registered in that state and get a unique tax number and another section below that says out of state retailer registration number, meaning customers can use their tax number from their own state instead. My boss says no that’s not what it means and gets mad that I would accept something so wrong. We both look up the tax law for that state and we find nothing that proves his claims. Then he said that the forms should say “drop ship” on them and again asks me why I accepted it without it on the form. I said nowhere does it say it has to say that because the form can used for various types of exemptions. He’s getting more and more angry as we’re speaking because he’s convinced I’m wrong, so I ended it by calling up that state. And unsurprisingly, I was right. Even the representative I spoke to was confused why I was asking such obvious questions. He finally calmed down after I gave him this information but said the date was missing so I should’ve rejected it and had the customer date the form. I wanted to punch him because that’s such a minor thing. We can just add the date on there, are we really going to be nit picky about a goddamn date????
He just had to justify being mad at you huh?
