get a haynes or chilton repair manual for your car( first step). Do the maintenance for it based on the mileage on the odometer. After that start to tinker.The best part of tinkering is making the car an extention of you/ your personality. If you want to do new dash speakers then great but how much stuff do you need to take out first? Are you and audio person? then figure out if you want to upgrade the whole system add an amp some subs and if you need a compasitor. As I said make it an extention of you/ your personslity. But have fun at the same time.

What to fix myself and what to stay away from?

Hey guys. I just got my first car, its a used Citroen C1 -09. Much like anyone with their first car, im very enthusiastic about it and would love to tinker and fix it up a bit. I think the dash speakers are my first stop. What do you think are some beginnerfriendly things you can fix/upgrade yourself and what would you leave to the professionals?

(I feel like this is obvious, but i wont go anywhere near the brakes or other safety systems, im talking quality of life or cosmetics here)
