So there’s that song Jinx sings both at the beginning of Arcane and in episode 7 at the bridge before the Ekko fight.

The song is sung by the pov of a poor Zaunite kid who meekly asks the rich from above to give them spare change and just treat them nicely. A pitch-perfect palatable portrayal of poverty for Piltover.

To complete the arc, Seraphine should cover the song.

She gives it a “Jenny of Oldstones/Nick Cave” kind of vibe, very dark and wrathful. Embodying the rage of Zaun and its desire to find hope and a secure future, even if it depends on Piltover.

It’s no longer palatable. It’s real.

Jinx has listened to this song on a loop for so long.

Soraka is a smart woman and Tahm Kench is a cool uncle to a lost Zaunite trauma kid.

I mean it’s headcanon but what if it wasn’t.

Me: just casually making a cute comedic AU with Tahm Kench being Jinx's cool uncle and being playfully teased by Soraka for actually having a nice side

Also me: but what if I made a one-shot where Jinx dies – either of old age or in battle or what have you, her life is dangerous – and Tahm Kench has to come to terms with her frailty and mortality and with the fact that he, as a demon, should have known that it would happen and sting like heck but she was so nice and fun and made him happier too, and Soraka offers to listen and he's like no I don't need empathy begone at once ok no maybe I need it pls come back I am literally losing my appetite for grief UGH WHY DO EMOTIONS HAVE TO HURT SORAKA?
