IT'S SO GOOD IT MAKES ME SCREAM AND CRY AND THROW UP AND EAT DRYWALL but more seriously Corigliano uses atonality, extended techniques, and a variety of other modern strategies to convey the sheer anguish and rage that characterized the early period of the AIDS crisis within the traditional symphonic structure and also it has a lot of really excellent brass parts which is my baseline for if a symphony is really really good. Not very well known but it should be you should listen to it right now I am trapping everyone in the world in my little tiny room so that they can listen to this piece
