So this is the first of many Corswain posts. I really wanted this model to have a dynamic pose and base. I also wanted a helmet on & off option. I used a chop saw to cut the Lion Forgeworld base apart and get the bits that would allow me to show Corswain wading through a gaggle of Night Lords. I also incorporated some of his models terrain in the back of the base. If you could write a Reverse-Heresy, where the positions of the loyalists and Traitor Primarchs were reversed, who would you choose as the Abbadon stand in after it was all over? I would choose Sigismund personally as Chaos Warmaster Sigismund sounds incredibly frightening.

I like Sigismund as a Black Crusader. My pick would be Corswain, though. I think this extract from Crusade sums up why he's one who could pull together the disparate champions of different legions:

"Corswain's only adjustment to [the Armour of the Forest] is to enshroud himself in a ritual mantle of the Dark Angels, obscuring the symbols of his Order and Host so that he might serve the entire Legion with purity of purpose as their champion."

On a fun note for the evening, I’m getting further into Legacy of Caliban and after doing some on-and-off talking with some server mates, I can safely say if I had to start an army, Dark Angels would be my first choice. Blood Angels right behind them.

For the loyalist side anyway.

Also I’m convinced Sammael has a secret stash of the Fast and the Furious movies and Mad Max: Fury Road.
