Meet Dr. Mark J. Birnbach
Dentist in Boulder, CO
Dr. Mark Birnbach earned his B.A. at Queens College (CUNY), and his DMD from Tufts University. After graduation, Dr. Birnbach spent a year practicing dentistry in Switzerland. On his return to the states, he established his dental practice, bouldersmiles, which concentrates on aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry. At his creek side location since 1977, Dr. Birnbach has taken over 4,500 hours of continuing education. He is one of a few dentists in the world who has completed the Full Mouth Reconstruction Course at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Mark is now an instructor there. He has conducted dental seminars on aesthetic dentistry and thrice been awarded “Clinician of the Year” by the Boulder Dental Study Club. Dr. Birnbach has been recognized as a “Top Dentist” by his peers for past 10 years as listed in 5280 magazine.
In his spare time, Mark likes to get out and take advantage of living in this beautiful area – enjoying the fresh powder in the mountains in the winter, and riding his road bike up to Jamestown, Carter Lake, Rabbit Mountain, Avon to the top of Vail pass and participating in fund raising rides like Davis Phinney’s Road To Victory Bicycle Classic (in support of Parkinson’s research) and the Buffalo Classic Century Ride (a fund raiser for scholarships for CU students). He also enjoys traveling and taking photos of the many memorable places he’s been fortunate enough to visit.

Dentistry’s Social Media Expert Rita Zamora Launching New Book During CDA Anaheim
While Supplies Last, Free Autographed Copies of “Get Found, Get Liked, Get Patients: Making the Most of Social Media” Will Be Available in the CareCredit Booth on Thursday May 17th from 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM
Boulder, CO – May 1, 2018 –  Rita Zamora, a social media marketing thought leader known for helping dentists and specialists shine online, will be introducing her new social media marketing book for dentists at CareCredit booth # 704 during the California Dental Association Meeting in Anaheim.
Entitled “Get Found, Get Liked, Get Patients: Making the Most of Social Media” this easy to read paperback book is intended to provide practical social media tips and advice that can be implemented immediately.
According to Zamora, “Despite the fact that social media has been recognized as a marketing must-have for almost a decade, many practice owners and some marketing professionals for that matter are still overwhelmed at the thought of starting and sustaining a social media program that will help them attract and retain patients. Surprisingly, this can apply to millennials as well. My goal was to write a social media guide, to help DIYers or inform those who need to delegate, that could be read in about 90 minutes.”
The book’s content is largely based on common questions Zamora has received over the years during many of her lectures. Here is an outline of the book’s contents:
•       Why Some Dentists Don’t Leverage Social Media to Get New Patients
•       With So Many Challenges to Using Social Media, Is It Worth the Trouble?
•       The Benefits of Social Media
•       Does Social Media Really Work for Attracting New Patients?
•       Getting Found. Getting Liked. Getting Patients
•       Next Steps to Reading “Get Found, Get Liked, and Get Patients: Making the Most of Social Media”
Zamora’s book includes a foreword written by dental marketing guru Fred Joyal, co-Founder of 1-800-Dentist and author of “Everything is Marketing” and “Becoming Remarkable,” in which he states: “There is no faster moving target in practice marketing than social media. It changes almost daily.  Rita is exactly the guide we need. She is both thoughtful and experienced, and this book is her gift of truth and wisdom. Enjoy it, learn from it, and apply it, and your practice will thrive.”
Purchasers of the book will also be able to download special PDF supplements to keep abreast of significant or timely recommendations. During the California Dental Association Meeting in Anaheim, a limited number of signed copies of “Get Found, Get Liked, Get Patients - Making the Most of Social Media” will be available for free (while supplies last) at the CareCredit booth #704 from 12:30 to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 17th.
Why in the CareCredit booth? “A study conducted by Rothstein Tauber on behalf of CareCredit revealed: Three of the five steps it takes to attract a new patient and have them accept and pay for treatment involves extensive research by the patient that can take an average of 76 days before they make a decision. It takes about 145 days for elective, cosmetic procedures,” explained Zamora. “This Consumers’ Path to Healthcare Purchases Study further validates the need for dental practices to value their online presence and utilize social media effectively to get found, get liked and get patients.
The print edition of “Get Found, Get Liked, Get Patients - Making the Most of Social Media” is available for pre-sale online at RitaZamora.com/book for a special price of $16.95. The book will be available in the near future in digital format and also on Amazon.

• Why Some Dentists Don’t Leverage Social Media to Get New Patients • With So Many Challenges to Using Social Media, Is It Worth the Trouble? • The Benefits of Social Media • Does Social Media Really Work for Attracting New Patients? • Getting Found. Getting Liked. Getting Patients • Next Steps to Reading “Get Found, Get Liked, and Get Patients: Making the Most of Social Media” Zamora’s book includes a foreword written by dental marketing guru Fred Joyal, co-Founder of 1-800-Dentist and author of “Everything is Marketing” and “Becoming Remarkable,” in which he states: “There is no faster moving target in practice marketing than social media.
“This Consumers’ Path to Healthcare Purchases Study further validates the need for dental practices to value their online presence and utilize social media effectively to get found, get liked and get patients.”
The print edition of “Get Found, Get Liked, Get Patients - Making the Most of Social Media” is available for pre-sale online at RitaZamora.com/book for a special price of $16.95. The book will be available in the near future in digital format and also on Amazon.
