Sebbie I can't get over that little vid of Robin in the backyard, I dunno what that dog had but DAMN HE GOT DA ZOOMIES!!! (lol).
I had an absolutely adorable thought I wanted to share with you but I wasn't sure if I should. It's safe to say that at this point my head is an endless pantry full of thoughts/thots so if you need anything it's there for the taking (lol).
All I could think about today was Miles Miller x wifey!reader getting ready for Christmas and the cottage and it's all decorated. Wifey's a little bit busy with Jesse because he's only a few weeks old at most and is still a little fussy from time to time. Kathy, his mother, is a little busy helping with all the kitchen business while it was Otis's idea to go haul in the tree (Miles kept telling his dad that it wouldn't fit in the living room but he insisted he could make it fit, lol).
The whole house just smells so good but that's nothing compared to when Benny comes in from playing in the snow. Miles took him out one day because he wanted to teach Benny how to catch snowflakes on his tongue and Otis ended up taking the pic of the two of them catching snowflakes (lol).
Benny's favorite movie this time of year is the original Grinch cartoon but he also loves when Momma, Daddy, Mimi or Papa read the book to him. He's still kinda little too and can't pronounce his Rs so every time he watches the cartoon he starts shouting excitedly, "Da Ginch!!! Da Ginch!!" (lol).
Sebbie I couldn't get this out of my head. I wanna write it so badly but I need to let it stew a little first (lol).
aah my love! yes! he gets like that outside sometimes and just does laps around me. i love it and it gets his energy out :’)
ohhhh and this thought my love! so soft, so sweet 🥹 i can feel the warm, cosy vibes and it’s such a sweet image to imagine with our sweetheart miles, because he absolutely deserves it! 🥰💌

gametime! which of your mutual(s) would you say is the most similar to whom in bts? 💫☄
I tried not to just automatically link mutuals to their bias but sometimes they reflect each other too well :’) there were so many other mutuals I wanted to add but this would turn into even more of an essay than it did gkfdglk
seokjin - @hobies because of her god awful(ly amazing) puns, but she also reminds me of the sweet parent friend who would always be looking out for others and making sure they’re doing alright. :’) 💌 I gotta add @seokin too bc her and jin are both hilarious beings and exude the highest levels of chaotic lesbian energy 👯
yoongi - y’know how yoongi acts nonchalant and is all “me?? cute?? never??” and then ends up being the literal cutest? that’s @booptaegi. 🐱 her mannerisms and the way she talks and reacts to things and even the emojis she uses in our chats….she is yoongi through and through. she has so much drive and seeing her be passionate about something she loves makes my heart swell. alex can do and be anything she wants to, and I hope she speaks all of her aspirations into existence just like yoongi does. she is my smol bean but her heart is so!!! big!!! 💖💖💖
hoseok - @yoonseok because she spreads so much light and positivity on here, and I think it’s a breath of fresh air when there tends to be so much toxicity online nowadays. I have noticed her outlook on life and approach to everything become so incredibly bright, especially in recent months, and it reminds me so much of hobi’s positive attitude. ✨✨✨
namjoon - @ddaengg I see so many namjoon-y qualities in terms of her intelligence, being outspoken about things that she cares about, being so caring of others even if she is going through her own difficult time, and although I don’t know her too in depth yet, she just exudes having so much talent 😇 I want to add @outrojk here too because she is the resident aesthetic fashionista 👜👗, but i’ll give her kook too because she gives me those love/hate relationship vibes I that I get with jungkook when he switches from cute babie to satan spawn or complete nutbar…..like she cute but also she aint loyal to me aka her supposed wife. :/ 💔
jimin - @jeonin because this girl has been an angel since the day I met her. 🏹💕🌹 she could get along with just about anyone and has the most welcoming, warm, cosy, safe energy and has one of those laughs that make my heart go !!!! nins takes aesthetic pics and cute vids which is very jiminesque. and @vmony, who is such a loving and selfless person, and is so easy to talk to and hang out with. I think one of her favourite things (like chim) is giving gifts 🎁, because she is always finding or making the cutest little presents or mementos for people. I bet she is would be a cake fairy like jimin too ;) 🎂✨
taehyung - both @jungshiii and @bwimini have this sweet, almost child-like innocence to them that I associate so much with tae and both their hearts just seem so big and are probably full of things like daffodils and cute baby animals and freshly baked goods and all of the heart emojis. 💐🐶🍰💛 @taezui is also a sweetheart, but I especially wanted to link her to him in terms of her creativity and artistic abilities. I think she has a great eye and appreciation for art, as does our art nerd boyfriend. 🎨
jungkook - @bwinkook is such a cutie and something makes me feel as if she is this little sister I want to take care of, but she also teases me endlessly and can be a little shit in the best way possible. 😘😘 I wanna go all seokjin on her…like hello you are my child let me protect you but also let me kick your butt (lovingly).

Top 10 Things not to miss in St. Petersburg
To continue my birthday week, I have visited three countries. You’ve seen my blog for Finland and Estonia, now revel into the wonder of the old capital of Russia.
1. St. Isaac’s Cathedral
Tumblr media
From the ferry port, you’ll be dropped off by the shuttle van at the grandiose St. Isaac’s Cathedral where you would feel dwarfed by the impressive 200-year old and largest Orthodox church in the city. See the retained traces of bombing up on the pillars during the Siege of Leningrad. You can skip the viewing platform from the dome as the skyline failed to mesmerise me.
2. Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood
Tumblr media
I just feel so lucky to witness the very icon of St. Petersburg on my birthday!
Tumblr media
Hands down, I think this is the most beautiful cathedral I have ever been to! The walls were not painted, if you look closely, it is covered in 7.500 square metres of mosaic- more than any other church in the world! At first, I thought it was named after the blood of Jesus Christ but boy I was wrong. It was built in 1881 in memory of Alexander II who was assassinated at Griboedov Canal. On the spot where his blood was shed, a shrine was erected and his son Alexander III dedicated the church to his father. The cathedral is full of life with the explosion of colours. I can feel the mosaics communicating with me through a gust of wind that brings chill to my spine.
3. Walk along the canals
Tumblr media
For a full experience of the city, walking is the best way to do it and you’d be passing along the lovely canals. Dubbed as the Venice of the North, it boasts 342 bridges. One of my regrets was not able to do a boat cruise of the city. It would’ve been a different perspective seeing the city by the water.
4. The State Hermitage Museum (Winter Palace)
Tumblr media
Welcome to the biggest museum in Russia and one of the most extensive collection of art and historical pieces in the world, about three million in total! Built between 1754 and 1762, the Baroque style architecture was initially the main residence of Russian Tsars.
Tumblr media
The works of art of the infamous Italian master painter Raphael are truly a neck breaker though I must say the ones on this hall are the exact copy of the Gallery in the Papal Palace in Vatican City.
Tumblr media
Fast fact: the Hermitage Museum is one of the top 10 most visited museums in the world!  The Hermitage's collections include works by da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Rembrandts, Cezanne, Manet, Monet, Van Gogh, Matisse, the list is endless! No wonder St. Petersburg is the cultural capital of Russia :D
5. Kazan Cathedral
Tumblr media
Even on a gloomy day, corners of the city are still instagrammable. The cathedral houses an icon of Our Lady of Kazan which is believed to be miraculous. Fall in line and whisper your wish, who knows it may come true?
6.  Experience the gay night life
Tumblr media
I did not dare post I went gay bar crawling in St. Petersburg in fear of being persecuted. Russians are well known to be socially conservative and against homosexuality so am glad that the gay night scene is booming! We hopped from one bar to another starting at Unterwelt (really cool vibe, you have the option to chill and catch up with your friends and if you’re a bit tipsy, move your hips at the dance floor), Central Station and The Blue Oyster (more upbeat sounds, party all night!) The weekend was so good I was in denial I have a hangover the next morning LOL
7. Bibliothek Café
Tumblr media
For chill spots I highly recommend this one, cosy ambience + slow paced life= perfection. However we had our food for take away, we had four pastries and two drinks for less than £5! How cray cray is that!? My friend and I never spent more than £25 (for both of us) for our meals! Don’t blame me though if your diet is ruined, every day will be cheat day.
8. Stroll along the Neva River and check out Peter and Paul Fortress
Tumblr media
Good thing the best friend likes walking and here we are with the unexpected twinning! The Neva River connects the city to the Baltic Sea and played an important role in St. Petersburg’s history.
Tumblr media
Built in 1703, the Peter and Paul Fortress was the foundation of the city. It was intended to be a defence structure but was later on turned to a military base, burial ground of Russian royalty to a cell for prisoners to a museum as of today. If you notice, the walls are of different colour. Originally painted red, Catherine the Great did not like the contrast against the blue waters as she gazes at it from the Winter Palace hence stones were imported, being too expensive, workers were instructed to cover parts parallel to the palace. A queen can also be tricked huh?
9. Admire the Blue Mosque
Tumblr media
I asked our guide where the blue mosque was and she had no clue, I debated I always see it in Instagram so it must be popular in the city, my friend even argued it is in Istanbul. I found out (good thing I’m clever) the official name of it is the St. Petersburg Mosque. What’s blue and also a mosque? The St. Petersburg Mosque.
10. Watch a heart melting ballet performance
Tumblr media
It was a true privilege to witness a grand performance at the legendary Mariinsky Theatre on my birthday. The experience was definitely one for the books!
Tumblr media
I have never watched ballet in my whole life and seeing the Swan Lake before me was really overwhelming. Almost brought tears to my eyes! They say that no one does ballet like the Russians do and now I know why. The beauty, elegance, discipline, precision and presentation was the absolute finest! Standing ovation for me!
Please check out my vid of the amazing birthday week I had in three cities, Helsinki, Tallinn and St. Petersburg
youtube
So now you ask me, “how did you go to St. Petersburg without a Russian visa?” Simple. St. Peter Ferry Line offers a 72-hour visa free visit to St. Petersburg if you book a ferry cruise from Helsinki/Tallinn. For 1039 Euros for two pax, you get round trip tickets, hotel accommodation & breakfast and transport from SPB ferry terminal to the city centre. How brilliant is that? Although I have booked my own taxi from our hotel to the port (we were just too tired to walk back to St. Isaac’s Cathedral with my heavy luggage), if you’re on a budget, don’t worry, Uber just charged me £3 for the 20-min. drive haha!
During my trip, I learned Russians are very cold, they don’t look you in the eye nor acknowledges you with a smile even those who work in the hospitality industry. Later on I found out it is actually part of their culture. I would like to be a part of this resting bitch face society. Smiling is frowned upon and bursting into laughter makes you look stupid. It seems weird and awkward in certain situations especially for a jolly person like me but the more I immerse myself, I realised Russians are respectful, they are helpful, they are kind, they are humble. So don’t be afraid to visit St. Petersburg, it may be boastful and grand in appearance but it is one city you will surely love. Befriend a person who never smile and make it a trip of a lifetime.

Dear Festividder...
I love pretty much all aspects of all the fandoms I’ve requested, so I’m sure I’ll be thrilled with whatever you come up with, but here’s some stuff to help if you want a little bit more to go on!
Music:
Really, the most important thing is that the song is the right one for the vid - I have pretty broad musical tastes and there’s not a lot I don’t like, although I’m less keen on the more electronic/dubstep-y side of dance music. I really like folk music, rock, pop, 80s power ballads, female singer-songwriters with their own instruments, some country, musical theatre soundtracks… if you’re looking for more to go on, artists I like include Dar Williams, Vienna Teng, Regina Spektor, Ingrid Michaelson, Janelle Monae, Kate Bush, Tori Amos, Bonnie Langford, Foxes, CHVRCHES, The Burns Unit, Clannad, Cyndi Lauper, Dolly Parton, Florence + the Machine, Lorde, Karine Polwart, Jim Moray, Toyah, Kate Rusby, Nancy Kerr, Fleetwood Mac, Patrick Wolf, Tracy Chapman, Brandi Carlile,  Missy Higgins, Ella Fitzgerald - but honestly I’ll listen to almost anything and if it works for the vid that’ll make me love the song anyway! (And uhh… I know it’s deeply unlikely but I would very much appreciate if you did not use a Ronan Keating song.)
General:
I love vids that make me feel feelings! Character studies, friendship vids, vids about communities and teams, cute vids, sad vids, silly vids, dancey vids, people kicking ass vids… Mainly I just want to feel emotions about the thing in handy-dandy vid form.
As Time Goes By (UK TV) (67 x 30-min episodes)
This was my go-to comfort show a while back and I’ve recently been rewatching it and remembering how much I love it! I’m here for absolutely anything, but if you’re stuck I’d love a vid about Jean and Lionel’s romance (heartfelt or funny or a mix of both), a fun ensemble vid, or absolutely anything about Jean and her ridiculous perfect Judi Dench face.
Alpennia Series - Heather Rose Jones (Novels)
I am so into this series! I’ve really enjoyed all of the POV characters so far and I’d be up for anything about any of the central relationships or characters, but I’d also be really thrilled with something that captures the general vibe of the series - magic, mystery, scholarship, queer community, intrigue - or the feel of 19th-century Alpennia, particularly the city of Rotenek.
One Day at a Time (TV 2017) (39 x 30-min episodes)
This series is so full of love and so heartwarming and good, and I’d love absolutely anything about it! If you’re looking for ideas though, maybe something about how the three generations of women connect, a lighthearted/comedy vid about everybody, or a character study of Penelope.
Taskmaster (UK TV) (85 x 45-min episodes)
Things I love about this show: the silliness yet creativity of the challenges, the outside-the-box approaches some of the contestants take, the slapstick, the sense of camaraderie between the contestants, and the general lighthearted vibe. I’d love anything that captures that. I haven’t seen all of the seasons yet but some of my favourite contestants are Roisin Conaty, Richard Osman, Katherine Ryan, absolutely everyone in Series 4, Nish Kumar, Aisling Bea, Sally Phillips and Liza Tarbuck. Another of my fave things is when there are two whole girls in a series and they are rooting for each other, see Lolly & Mel and Aisling & Sally. I love Greg and Alex too but I’m less into their on-screen dynamic. Although it occurs to me that a vid that was just about Alex setting and administering the challenges could be absolutely hilarious!
The Vicar of Dibley (28 x 30-min episodes)
Another cosy comfort show! This is one I go back to again and again, and I’d be delighted with anything for it. I love Geraldine, I love how genuine and how kind she is and how much she cares about her community while being aware of their eccentricities. I’d love a Geraldine vid, a Geraldine-and-Alice vid, a Geraldine-and-everyone vid, a Geraldine-and-her-faith vid, ensemble silliness and general shenanigans...
Xanadu (1980) (Movie, safety fandom)
I LOVE this film with deep sincerity but part of that love is recognising that it’s COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS, so don’t worry if you’re working from a more tongue-in-cheek angle. I’d love to see anything that showcases the absurdity of the plot, the glitzy delight of the musical numbers, the fabulous late 70s/early 80s-ness of the setting, the dancing, the characters, the sheer OTT-ness of the entire production…
