Seriously y'all. When you are chosen by the Shirley Temple curls to carry the curly mantle, there's no escaping it. You can dye and straighten it to your hearts content, it ain't ever gonna be anything other then curly. I spent so long trying to change it. We waste so much time trying to change things that are beyond are control and we use no time to change what we can control. You know why? Fear. We are afraid to actually take that type of control into our own handles. We're afraid of messing it up. Of doing it wrong. Guess what. It's pretty rare to get something done right the very first time you ever attempt it. And that's okay! If we could just learn to have fun doing it, to fail forward and enjoy every second of it, imagine how much more fun life would be? My friends and I are doing it daily. Even after a rough night, and a struggle to get those sleepy eyes open this morning, this kid is still happy as can be. Who wouldn't want live like that? Waking up every morning excited simply to be waking up 😂 I think that's a pretty cool way to live. And lucky for me it's exactly the way my tribe lives. Waking each day and looking forward to the challenges and joys it's gonna bring. Controlling the day instead of just letting things happen. Jamie and I went a little crazy on the shakes today 😂 but with 🦈 shark week on the way I don't think I could help it. While we drank our peanut buttercup shakes, I made chocolate chip ice cream 🍫 🍦 using my superfoods shake powder. I also decided to make actual peanut butter chocolate cups! 🥜🍫 I can't not wait to try them! So easy to make and just think about it... super sweet homemade treats that only took me 30 minutes to make and are packed full of nutrition?!?! As a lazy mama, there's nothing better then knowing I have tricked my kids into eating a crap ton of goodness 😊especially when I can enjoy it with them. Today has been a nice, relaxing day thanks to getting home so late last night. And relaxing always gives me lots of time to think. Today's thoughts have led me to discover that, quite literally everything you want in life boils down to defeating fear. Your own fear is the only thing that stops you from achieving ANYTHING you want. Your education level? Doesn't matter. The way you were raised? Doesn't matter. Your height? Weight? Age? Race? Religion? None of it matters. What matters is pushing past your own fear. How do you push past fear? You know how when your at a parade you have to weave through a crowd to get to the front to see? You know how some people just kind of push right past you at a concert? Just like that. You crash past fear by literally just doing the thing you fear. That's exactly what me and my girl friends are doing on the daily. We push each other to step over our fear and actually creat the life we want. Creat something we are excited to get up for everyday. That's what coaching is all about. That's what coaching can do for you.
