I feel that I have elaborated at length on the dimensions of a crime the office of Congressperson Ilhan Omar seems to be committing against me currently. I believe that the office of Governor Walz (here in Minnesota) is also committing a crime against me. I visited the office of Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan and Governor Tim Walz some months after I had gotten ignored by the office of Representative Ilhan Omar in a way that had already started to seem unequivocally unconstitutional. I am aware of the United States constitution of the 1700s being a racist document; I say that because of how pre Civil War slavery continued after the writing of the "constitution." I have believed that my use of the word "unconstitutional" should automatically be understood as referencing contemporary human rights and civil rights. Here is a comment I wrote on an Ilhan Omar Politician page on Facebook this morning (the 17th of January in 2024). I added it as a comment on the profile picture. "I believe that I was unlawfully harassed by staff at a long-term stay homeless shelter in Minneapolis. harassed meaning treated with severe disrespect when I hadn't done anything to violate the terms of my stay and removed by the Minneapolis police from the shelter when according to the law in my opinion I still had a right to stay in it and to sleep in it. I have described this carefully to you via email (emailing your congressional office). I was offered some housing assistance in an email from a staffperson of yours on December 1st of 2022. I wrote back that day attempting to say I accept and asking how to continue. I haven't ever received a reply and have followed up in email and on the phone. I think the fact that that homeless shelter helps or helped people apply for housing vouchers consisting of federal money makes you and your staff committing a felony against me."

8/11/2024: I believe that I have gotten unlawfully harassed by staff out of homeless shelters (plural) in California and in Minnesota, including a residence for survivors of domestic violence in Ukiah, California. A law enforcement officer in Willits, California, I believe, had referred me to the residence for survivors of domestic violence after I had described to him events that had taken place in Berkeley, and on a campground near a marijuana farm not far from Covelo, California. I became homeless in June of 2019. I do not think legislature is necessarily obligated to help someone "prosecute" an unlawful eviction even if it involved "law enforcement" officers and county bureaucracy having made a series of mistakes. I planned to rely on eviction appeal paperwork provided to me by the Hennepin County Law Library, and later found that the behavior of people or a person employed at the Hennepin County Law Library seemed in fact criminal. I have asked a Hennepin County Civil Rights office for help, and believe that that office unlawfully requested that I present my concerns using the word "discrimination." I think that that Civil Rights office having asked me to psychoanalyze people who had somehow violated my civil rights is extremely inappropriate.

In Memoriam: Victor Kley, Visionary Inventor, Activist.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Victor Kley, a pioneering inventor and visionary. Vic departed this world on November 12, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of groundbreaking contributions and activism.

Born on April 13,1946 in Washington, D.C, Victor Kley, “Vic” exhibited an early aptitude for science and technology. His insatiable curiosity and passion for pushing the boundaries of what was possible led him to become a trailblazer in early computers and electronics, and later in nanotechnology, and cold fusion. Vic earned a reputation as a brilliant mind and a tenacious problem-solver, garnering hundreds of patents over the course of six decades.

Vic was also a passionate advocate and political organizer. As one of the founding members of the Earth Day movement, he helped organize events and worked to uncover the effects of the use of Agent Orange in the Vietnam War. Vic’s dedication to the betterment of the environment and the human condition was born from the deep compassion he felt for the suffering of others and his concern for the children of the future.

A loving husband, father, and brother, Vic is survived by his wife and partner of 51 years Helen Munson of Berkeley, CA., his children, Douglas and Darrell Eder of Kailua-Kona, HI, Lysistrata Munson of Elk Grove, CA. and Victor Basil Kley III of Covelo, CA., his grandchildren Hamza Lhamous of Elk Grove, CA and Soumaya Lhamous of Berkeley, CA., and his sisters Melody Bratton of Millsboro, DE., Michelle Conci of San Mateo, CA. and Denise Lingenfelter of Hendersonville, NC. We mourn the loss of a mentor who never shied away from telling it like it is! His memory will be cherished not only for his brilliant mind but also for his warmth, generosity, and unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.

A memorial service to honor Victor Kley's life and contributions will be held on November 27, 2023 1pm at Sunset View Cemetery & Mortuary, El Cerrito, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to UNICEF in Victor Kley's name.

May he rest in peace, and may his legacy continue to inspire future generations to use their talents to make the world a better place for us all.

Incêndio em prédio provoca quatro feridos no Porto

Um incêndio no primeiro piso de um prédio de quatro andares na Travessa Nova do Covelo, no Porto, causou ontem dois feridos graves e dois ligeiros, todos com mais de 70 anos, revelou à Lusa fonte dos Bombeiros Sapadores.

O alerta foi dado pelas 17h44 e o incêndio obrigou a que o prédio fosse evacuado, acrescentou a fonte.

Os quatro feridos foram transportados para o Hospital São João, disse ainda.

Fonte da Proteção Civil do Porto confirmou à Lusa que a travessa, de sentido único, foi cortada ao trânsito, situação que se mantinha pelas 18h50.

No combate às chamas estão também os Bombeiros Portuenses.
