This was one CRAZY craft show season guys! I encountered severe thunderstorms, mini tornados, I lost a tent to one, had to repackage everything because of an other one... I drove long hours, participated in horrible markets, I even got a heat stroke at this last one. Florida is just unpredictable - you can predict that!!! But I met some really nice people, customers as well as fellow vendors. And in the midst of all this I took care of my household, doing laundry, baking and cooking. Just the usual stuff 😄. Mr Roomba Jones took care of my floors which was generously gifted to me by my husband ❤️. I also tried to keep my plants and critters alive (one of my cats was diagnosed with diabetes which has been a very stressful situation for everyone involved). So I'm more than happy to put an end to this season! 😂 I'm done, at least until a brief two weekends in July, one in Lake Placid (Caladium Festival) and the other one in Lakeland (Fancy Flea). Then starting the new season with a few exciting markets and locations in September. But I do not rest until then. My website and Etsy shop is still available for purchases and this is the time for custom orders. My studio looks like a warzone currently so it needs to be organized. I will have a new equipment coming in a few weeks and clay needs to be purchased. You would think clay is easy to purchase, well, there are pretty much dozens of different types of pottery clays to choose from, depending on what you want to make: decorative stuff, wind chimes, tableware, sculptures, and so on. I used to go to Clearwater FL 1.5 hours away) to buy my clays but they currently discontinued the clay I need so now I will have to drive to Oviedo FL (over 2 hours away) to a different company. I'm hoping for an uneventful summer, so I can create some cool stuff for you guys and prepare for the next season. I have many new ideas, I'm hoping to execute most of them.
