WHITE CAT WEDNESDAY!

Coconut (a.k.a. Kookie Nut) is 3 years 10 months-old and sponsored by Stephanie Upton. SNAP Cats rescued Coconut from Bakersfield, CA, where he was going to be euthanized for being FIV+. Yes, that still happens today! Which is SO sad because Coconut is such a sweet, super friendly (kookie) cat that loves human attention. He’s the first kitty to greet you when you enter the room. Coconut can be combative with other cats, especially when there's wet food involved, but mellows a bit once he gets to know them. Coconut would be best as an only cat, but would probably be fine with an older cat that keeps to themselves. (And we learned the other day that he's a great mouser! One managed to get in here and Coconut didn't waste any time grabbing it.) That said, Coconut still needs to be an indoor-only cat.

BTW: Please don't be afraid of FIV. It's nothing. Really. Slightly compromised immune system. That's it. Just like a FIV- cat, Coconut will live a long, healthy life if you take good care of him.
