2020 certainly wasn’t what we hoped it would be, at certain points it was definitely rough and downright terrible, but it is worth noting that we got through it. And I can so easily say without a doubt that one major, major reason I got through this year were thanks to some of the absolutely lovely people on this. I’ve made new friends and new mutuals with so many of you and I’m endlessly appreciative of all your support and kindness. 

Every day, people here create art that inspires me, and floors me, and impresses me beyond belief. I am so thrilled that so, so many of you decided to click the follow button on my blog, decided to stick with me even when my interests and hyperfixations change. Really, when I start gif making more than 4 years ago now, I never imagined I’d have 1000 followers, nonetheless 11 times that.

So, I’m going to be doing two things with this post: first I’ll be shouting out the lovely mutuals who I adore and some talented creators whose work I admire from afar and then I’ll lay out the details of my follower celebration. It’s likely beyond foolish of me to organize a follower celebration... all of 12 days before I have to go back to my studies, but perhaps some of your requests can inspire me to create during the semester when it’s harder for my tired brain to generate ideas. And of course, I’ll get through as many requests as I see fit while I continue to be on my winter break.

My coloring is pretty basic, i use a base psd that i made a while ago for all my gifs (is basically, vibrance, levels and a yellow-ish photo filter), then i mess around with selective coloring (usually red, ciano and yellow). i fix the brightness and contrast and then it’s done :)

1. my it chapter 2 trailer + colors gifset: i don’t even know how i made this but it’s my most popular and best looking gifset and definitely my favorite gifset i’ve ever made

2. my richie gifset: it was one of my first gifsets to pass 1k and i’d never made something like this before and i was really proud of how it came out

3. my first nancy drew episodes gifset: it just ended up looking really nice and i’ve actually been keeping up with it and this is probably the best one and i just really love this series so i’m really proud of this

4. the only riverdale gifset i’ve ever made: literally after this episode ended i RUSHED to find it and made this in like 10 minutes because my jarchie goggles were ON and i Had to make it and then it blew up despite some people thinking this was platonic

5. my may queen dani gifset: it just looks so GOOD i can’t get over it and i’m glad it’s actually like. getting notes vs my last midsommar gifset that didn’t pass 200 notes even though it was good (support content creators :\)
