Cudley !!

Cudley the Cowlick is a trans-dimensional cyborg alien cow head who can transport anyone across dimensions by putting them in his mouth. 

He first appeared in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures #7 (December, 1989) Cudley takes the turtles to Stump Asteroid to Stump's and Sling's Intergalactic Wrestling. They wrestle some other characters there until they get ahold of their weapons again and go to threaten Stump and Sling to take them back to Earth. Stump tell Cudley to bring them back to Earth but Cudley makes a mistake and brings them 100 years ahead to a possible future where global warming has destroyed the world. Cudley apologizes for his mistake and brings the turtles back to their own time. 

TMNT Adventures Cudley also appears in Mirages Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume 2 #52 and #58

Cudley also seems to play a part in the new IDW TMNT comic The Armageddon Game, which I’ve not read yet but the wiki plot synopsis says: Shredder and Leonardo team up with Cudley the Trans-Dimensional Cowlick in order to seek out the help of the enigmatic Cherubae in Dimension Z.

He also makes a small cameo in both TMNT 2O12 and RotTMNT

Also Splinter's endorsement meaning anything would require me to trust Splinter who

1) decided that the time for Donatello to learn how to deliver a baby, something he had expressed no interest in and was clearly uncomfortable with, was when a woman none of them knew was actively in labor. No need to ask about her feelings on the matter btw. Sent the rest of his sons with adult they'd just met, whom he did not ask to help deliver the baby. (at least I think that guy was an adult.. if not that's still messed up of Splinter but at least makes more sense why he's pick on Donatello)

2) is just chill with Cudley taking his sons wherever I guess? they clearly don't want to wrestle and are in fact being blackmailed and instead of sticking up for them he's like "ah but remember, you chose to come here" bro shut up? and now you're feeling all lonely because your kiddos are growing up? dude

Don't like Ninjara don't like Splinter. would be happy if my mind got changed but I'm not holding my breath

Bring back Oyuki I only like her and the turtles. And Shredder and Krang are sometimes good

TMNT: THE ARMAGEDDON GAME #2 OCTOBER 2022 BY TOM WALTZ, VINCENZO FEDERICI, MATT HERMS AND SHAWN LEE

In Dimension X, the Splinter clan tries to make an alliance with the Nova Posse, but after crossing paths with Torbin Zixx, they decide to take a small deviation to capture him.

SCORE: 8

I believe this was the first appearance of Torbin Zixx and that was on an issue that already felt like “everything that happened in any iteration is gonna happen here”. On each page you will see characters from Mirage and the Fred Wolf cartoon, then you will turn the page and find 2003 characters as well... it should feel cheap, but it actually feels pretty organic.

Then there was the big reveal of the issue... that wasn’t a big reveal at all (not only it was super obvious in the opening moves issues, but he was in the promotional material...

The story so far is very decompressed, but at least they will have more than one “chapter” per month, which will hopefully compensate for the slow pace.

The art deservers its own mention here, not only because of the pencils, but the coloring and the texturing. Especially the texturing. It just looks beautiful.

Seeing Ninjara mentioned made me have to talk about her. I love Ninjara a bunch, so you can imagine my excitement when I noticed the similarities between her and Alopex. It makes a bit sad that it means Ninjara probably can’t have any explicit roles in the main IDW story, but the fact Alopex exists at all as (presumptiously) a nod to Ninjara makes me overjoyed regardless. Seeing Cudley again in the Armageddon Games as well was just. Ahhhh! Made me so incredibly happy. Seri too I’m so glad to see her again. I could keep going as I remember other characters like Dreadmon, Ace Duck, Jagwar, etc etc but I’d easily get carried away. It makes IDW feel like a big old love letter to every single iteration out there, something that other versions have tried before to varying degrees of success. (I am one of the people who wasn’t a fan of Turtles Forever all that much.) But yeah, anyway! I’m excited to see what else you end up pulling from other turtle universes.

Ninjara could still show up! I don't think Alopex's creators (Brian Lynch and Kevin) meant for her to be a Ninjara nod just because she's also a fox, so there's absolutely room for both in my opinion. I've batted around a few ideas for what to do with Ninjara as well as brainstorming for how to introduce Mezcaal too. We'll see.
