I'm still trying to figure out Lamb's design once they're chained, but I took the time to do a little concept 🐏 Furthermore, this would be Narinder's design after being decapitated and arriving at Lamb's lands.

Funfacts: In this AU, Narinder was not only decapitated, he was previously stabbed in the head. He possibly put up too much resistance and his executioners wanted to do things faster.

Locked away by their family, encouraged Narinder to kill them, even though that would leave Kore as the last sheep alive

Fell for Narinder first

Treated Narinder with kindness, was rewarded with betrayal because Narinder doesn’t understand that they were being genuine

Runs away from the cult after being treated like a trophy for decades

Ends up settling in a village that doesn’t judge them for their 3rd eye and lack of people skills

Doesn’t see Narinder until he wanders into that village, practically powerless and thoroughly humbled

I know breeds and whatnot don't matter, but, might I suggest him being a Great Pyrenees?

Big fluffy white dog, known for living among their sheep to protect them and chase off danger.

If we're going with opposite/mirror universe, I can just imagine him being very bubbly and excitable. "Oh, hi! I'm sorry you died, here's my crown, maybe it can help you?" Giving gifts and whatnot the whole time. Probably comes across as a bit of a himbo. The whole "having to kill the goat" thing just destroys him, he apologizes the whole time. (More instead of "Damn Lamb, you're betraying me and denying me my freedom" it's more "I'm so sorry, I really don't want to do this, I just need out-")

okay so the art heist au is basically set in a modern world (I'm still deciding if I want to make them humanized) where The Bishops is an aristocratic powerhouse in the visual art industry known for "restoring" stolen paintings. they basically steal paintings and "buy" them and take all the credit for restoring art.

narinder is one of the most prominent art thieves within the Bishops but got blacklisted after a blunder on a heist.

mallory lamb (my lamb) is a white hat hacker for the Red Crowns (another art heist group) which gets hired to steal the painting that Narinder wasn't able to get. disaster happens and mallory lamb runs away from the Red Crown and vows to live a different life.

cue narinder gets out of prison, tries to get revenge against the Bishops, and mallory getting caught in narinder's mess to which they reluctantly help with :)

most of the details aren't set in stone but I'm pretty sure this will be the the premise of the story!

im also planning on making them lesbians in this... OTL

Jimmy Solidarity works for the esteemed god of Death, reaping lost souls and taking care of unsavory characters. He's recently finished his training, and is determined to do well on his first solo mission. Perhaps this "Tango" would be a good start. Only, the god of Death disappeared years ago, and Necromancer Tango Tek's long since discovered a way around dying. He can't say he enjoys Jimmy swinging through and killing him where he stands, though.

Thank you to my team for being as feral about this AU as I am, and kicking everything about it up to 110. I had so much developing this world with them!

While Graveyard Shift is the amalgamation of many of my interests, the main premise for this AU is loosely inspired by the webcomic, I'm the Grim Reaper, in both its apocalypse themes and its aesthetics! Not a required read, but highly recommend if you enjoy this au, as well as the anime and manga, Soul Eater!

I came up with a lot of AUs for this event but necromancer!Tango and reaper!Jimmy have been rattling around in my brain in separate AUs since before I started brainstorming for aufest. So I smashed them together, naturally.

Originally, Tango's outfit was going to be more like his Dungeon Master outfit but I wanted the setting to be more modern and Jimmy stole the fantasy cloak vibe from him already lol

Jimmy's entrance of lightning is my nod to the Life Series final death sound

The scarf Jimmy's wearing is designed to be a boneyard shawl

+ The name "Graveyard Shift" was thrown at me by Cadence in like 3 seconds flat after i spent 2 days agonizing over a name for this au LOL

We as a society should talk more about the AU where Orin and DUrge's places are reversed. She fucks up her assassination of DUrge and gets the tadpole in cruel retaliation and it's the crowning failure in a lifetime of humiliation and ALSO it is the key to finally escaping the cycle. My kicked dog baby daughter Orin. A lifetime of being denied love and acknowledgement and for the first time she gets to know people who could appreciate her, who could support her, love her. I think there are companions who could get with her macabre painting idk. I want to see her get to do her art :) I want to see her interactions with Lae'zel and Shadowheart who are also grappling with these entrapping ideologies they were raised in, I want to see her interactions with Wyll who has also been rejected by his father and can't tear himself away, I want to see her interactions with Astarion who is at a crossroads between becoming the monster that tormented him or getting out. And. Also. She's just such a perfect underdog. Think about the power to the DUrge endings but with Orin. Going back to the cult and finally having everything she ever wanted, finally getting to be special and prove herself worthy and LIVE. It's a pyrrhic victory but it's one she's clawed for herself so desperately. Faltering and losing herself completely, completing the downward spiral of decay of her life. Or finally!!! Getting!!! To escape!!! To see the evil of that lifetime of abuse for what it is!!! To know what she was made for and reject it by living anyway, by turning her back on all destinies that have ever been laid at her feet!!! She is not the lamb and she need not be the wolf she can be something New. Do you see my vision do you understand. Are you also thinking about this
