My dad read the original spanish vers of tender is the flesh and he thought it sucked too lol . It seems like a lot of people either love it or hate it

I mean, plotwise, it's fine, it's a different twist and certainly an original tale, but I expected it to be richer in its prose, it was just flat and dull altogether. I love a good story, but what's the point if it was written in such an uninspiring way?
