The 3D sprites in Ace Attorney alone do not bother me, but do you know what does? The odd mixture of OG Trilogy sprites, AJ sprites, and 3D sprites used in fan cases and whatnot. There’s nothing else to use, I understand, but it just doesn’t look that nice, not to mention the fan-ripped 3D sprites often look low-quality. So I wanted to start making free to use 2D sprites of all the characters that only appear in 3D!

I’m starting with Athena, and I just wanted to use this as a preliminary “how well can I copy the HD PWAA Trilogy style”, as I want them to look consistent with those sprites specifically. I’m not used to copying other art styles, so it was quite difficult for me, but I think it came out quite well!

I know it’s a small and relatively boring sprite, but I would appreciate feedback! I also appreciate any engagement, as I want people to know about these for when I’m done making them, so they can be used! I’m not creative when it comes to objection.lol cases, so I would love to see them get used! :3

Fixed up my Bunvee sprite cause i was not entirely satisfied with it, i think it looks more accurate to the game's pixel style now? Not that it has to, this is just for funsies ^^

Following on my Genesis/Mega Drive Snively sprites post. I wanted to continue that with another Classic Sonic game, so here you go:

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (MS/GG) Extended Cast

So yeah, this is based on the flashbacks from the Champions arc in the Archie Sonic reboot. I mean, the designs aren't 1:1 with those comics, it's little details here and there that have been changed (and in Breezie's case it's a slight redesign). I also resprited Silver Sonic to tweak some of its proportions.

This is part of that ongoing Sonic AU I'm making, although as always you can also use these for general Sonic thing (with credit, obviously)

A note on colours: in my experience, floss looks different irl than in online pattern makers. If you think a different colour will work better, go with your gut!

how do you feel about homestuck spriters who paywall their resources? as in the resources they made specifically for homestuck sprite usage are being paywalled.

I could understand if they paywall sprites if it's based on NEW art. Like let's say custom sylladexes, redesign of certain characters (like Rose looking like an actual POC) or outfits and items that haven't been found in the HomestuckDOTnet art assets. But existing ones that can be found on said website or edited from existing panels/flashes, that certainly raises brows. People need to know they can find them in links like here and do the edits themselves.

Here are some sprite versions of the Angry Birds that I created a while back. I was originally going to do one with the pigs, but didn't really bothered to finished them. If you want to use them in your own fangame or Angry Birds mod or something, that's fine by me.
