Effeffe Berlinetta 

Berlinetta is a name of the past, a name that conjures up a very specific type of car: a high-performing sports car with closed bodywork, a 2-seater (or 2+2 at most). The name Berlinetta embodies all the philosophy of the first car made by Effeffe. A car built today in exactly the same way as craftsmen moulded the famous GTs in the late 1950s: the mechanics borrowed from the series and redesigned to suit new needs, a hand-made chassis and bodywork. All starting from a blank sheet. An original car with a strong personality, in form and in deed, which is the best possible homage to the skill of these craftsmen. A generation we have perhaps forgotten, that offered the Italian car tradition - and the history of motoring generally - plenty in terms of uniqueness, charm and design. A product built and finished by hand, like in the past, with a tubular chassis, hand-beaten aluminium bodywork and wire wheels, seeking to guess and please the taste of the owner, expressing a timeless character.

The Berlinetta prototype was born in 2014, little more than a scale model. Made and finished, but not running: the mechanics are approximate, and it has never really been fine-tuned. But it is beautiful. An authentic time-machine. It seems as if it has just been found in a hay barn and dusted down. In addition, being practically a style model, its lines are pure and smooth, not “dirtied” by license plates or indicators. So beautiful, in fact, that, almost as a game, the Frigerio brothers sent a few photos to the people in charge of the Concorso di Eleganza di Villa d’Este. And, a surprise, they sent an invitation to present the Berlinetta in the Concept Cars category. A dream within a dream, the self-built car made its début and the world’s most prestigious and glamorous elegance competition.

Along with the interest and pleasure shown immediately by the public and the media, this would have gone to anyone’s head. But as we know, the Frigerio brothers aren’t the sort of people who sit on their laurels, and they decided the play another chip. They realised that their idea could become something more than just an adventure, and decided to exploit their years of relationships, acquaintances, friendships and skill to set up a workshop to produce the Berlinetta in small series. An exclusive, tailored and fully customisable product. Built as in the past by a handful of old craftsmen wanting to get back in the game, but with the help of the best technologies available today.

The lines of the Berlinetta need no explanation. They are a well-balanced mix of classic, late-50s stylistic elements, from the muscular bumpers to the oval grille, a hint of rear fins and the double bubble roof. The definition of the lines of the car talks of an approach that is about as poetically anachronistic as you can get. The Frigerio brothers started by placing the mechanics and seats on the floor, tracing the basic outline around them with chalk, then gradually building the chassis, welding, cutting and welding again. Following the curves of the tubular metal frame, they then moved onto the bodywork, beaten entirely by hand in aluminium according to the artisanal sensitivity of Vittorio, who has a good hand, assisted by a few panel beaters with forty years’ experience. And from there, the project moved on in a kind of reverse engineering, working backwards by making 3D scans of the shapes to produce the drawings and designs.

Style and proportions have that instantly recognisable Italian flair, as does the passenger compartment, entirely leather-lined with a dashboard painted in the same colour as the car, and the Alfa Romeo-derived mechanics. Who, working according to the Fia Gr2 specifications of the 1971 European Touring challenge, they were able to achieve around 200 HP at 6800 rpm, with maximum torque of around 30 Kg/m at 4400 rpm, on the road with no technological support.

Every Journey Matter!

Note this campaign is a great initiative from the @motorcyclelawscotland team I can't agree more to educate people and save lives. But Why did they choose the photo of SH on this post when he promoted his whisky 🥃 during his 2021 whisky campaign in Scotland?

This photo is in 2021 and was the last time SH was seen on his customised Harley Davidson motorbike after his bike mishap in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We don't know exactly what kind of support SH is providing to this volunteering effort by appearing in his promotional material and asking his fans to sign up. However, it's interesting to note that Motorcycle Law Scotland is urging the Scottish community to be involved in this Road Safety campaign and at the same time they following the actor's alcohol business on Instagram.🤷‍♀️

The one safe option for Road Safety If you're driving, is not to drink any alcohol and not promote it.

As we see Motorcycle Law Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 helps you with your motorcycle accident claim following a bike accident and acting for bikers who have been involved in a motorbike accident.

That means they deal with claims against third-party insurers and can act in cases where your motorbike accident compensation claim is against an uninsured driver and will deal with the motor insurers bureau on your behalf.

I would like to know if SH featured in this campaign has completed advanced rider training and passed his test, courtesy of Motorcycle Law Scotland, 🏍️ before providing his photo on his Harley Davidson motorbike. Or MLS has SH fans who misinterpret their role in this campaign 💁‍♀️

@summerindigomusic Yep! SH has a customised Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE motorbike, which matches his Sassenach helmet promoting his whisky 🥃 and it’s a very questionable taste.

Google Drawings! [ Not Possible on Mobile ] [ This makes up a big portion of the texts and images on the sheet ] Double click on the Google Drawing. - Or you can click on the Google Drawing, and then click on the Pencil icon to edit it.

Some Google Drawings have been layered with frames,images,etc to make it look pretty - but blocks access to the text boxes under it. In order to access them - right click the item thats blocking you from accessing the text box/image and go to 'Order' and then 'Send to Back'. When you're done - just go to 'Order' and then 'Send to Front' again to put it back into place!

Presenting, the Ineffable Horsebands!

A few weeks ago I decided that I’d be customising some model horses into everyone’s favourite ineffable duo as part of an annual painting challenge called NaMoPaiMo. It isn’t a competition, it’s just a fun community event, and I’ve been taking part for years. Anyway, the important thing is that I had way too much fun turning Aziraphale and Crowley into horses. (and yes, a crack fic explaining precisely why they’re horses is already in progress 🙈😂) Also, because apparently I’m a glutton for punishment, I spent far too long faffing about with fine wire, pliers and resin to make Crowley a pair of sunglasses. Obviously the legs of the frames wouldn’t actually work in reality but he’s a demon horse, so physics is optional. I didn’t have any patterned ribbon small enough for a teeny tiny bow tie for Aziraphale so I improvised and painted tartan stripes on some scrap fabric. It’s a little bigger than I’d have liked but it’s stupidly cute so it works. 😂 There’s also a couple of nods to their celestial/diabolical forms too if you look closely. 👀

So, may I present Aziraphale, aka Azirafoal, the Principalomino or Principalipony. Known for being so heartmeltingly sweet that you feel obliged to give him all of the treats and carrots and biscuits he desires. (That said, he would 100% yeet a child if they annoyed him. 😇🐴🪽 …and Crowley, aka Crowleypony, known for Cantering Vaguely Downwards, biting anyone who looks at him wrong and destroying rugs and expensive tack just because he can and it annoys people. 😈🐴🔥 I already have some ideas for other characters too, halp. 🙈 Is this how I’m going to stay sane until S3 comes out?!

The Sims 4 | Ukrainian village house [photo longpost]

A story of this build is more than it seems.

I finished this house on April 11th, 2022. It was already more than 1 month of russian full-scale invasion on Ukraine. This was one of the first times when I tried to distract a bit from a 24/7 scrolling though terrible scary news. I took my laptop, sit in corridor (note: this is a safe place in a flat if there is full-scale war with bombing, air strikes etc outside) and launched The Sims4. This was the most chill and comfy game that I had back than. No buttles, no difficult quests, just building.

I decided to build old Ukrainian village house, because at that time I was fully into thoughts about my country. I wanted to do something with traditional Ukrainian vibe or simply nostalgic.

I searched for some refs, childhood memories when I was spending summer holidays in the village. But also all of this is from my imagination and game functional.

The whole view to the land area.

Sunflowers in front of the house near the fence is a must! We have a lot of sunflower fields and it always nice to see even single flowers here and there. This is Ukrainian thing.

fun note: on the first months of russian full-scale invasion on Ukraine, brave Ukrainian woman came to the russian soldiers, that wanted to occupied a Ukrainian village, and ask them to put some seeds in their pockets, so they can at least somehow be useful after they pass away on Ukrainian land. This became a well-known meme and also a symbol in Ukraine.

Anyway, back to the house.

A vegetable garden in Ukrainian village household is a must too! I did a little one just for vibes. But usually Ukrainians have a few hectares of gardens. As people of agricultural country it would be strange if we didn't. BTW pumpkins in Sims are super cute, i guess they're not even from debug.

sad note: many of Ukrainian vegetable gardens are destroyed because of russian's bombing. They, in fact, purpously burn and shell fields to left us with no harvest.

Beekeeping is also a thing here. I guess almost every Ukrainian has a nostalgic chilhood memory when local beekeeper inspecting a hive frame and bees don't sting them. Oh, wow!

Hives in the Sims are very cure too!!

Talking about nostalgia. Even though nowadays in vilages we have toilets inside the house I wanted to build an old school one, haha. (one of the reason was me wondering how to buid it in Sims lol).

wtf note: while I was wondering which toilet to build in a game, russian soldiers were stealing flush toilets from Ukrainian houses, to send it to their homes and i guess finally live their dream.

The outdoor summer shower is another old school stuff that I wanted to include. On the left you can see an old bath and a tyre with flowers (just for fun really).

It was so weirdly satisfying to build and to clutter up a shed, lol

Finally interior! Sunflowers on the table, random furniture and bunch of printed stuff on the walls.

Small bedroom with 2 extra beds if someone came to visit. I want you to notice an icon in the courner on the first pic. Small detail that I customised myseft 'cause I couldn't find any to download, ugh.

The basement or cellar. Very useful top tier place in the house. Safe and has a lot of food.

note: nowadays it's not an odd thing for Ukrainians to spend hours in here, waiting for air raid alert to stop. This one better than a corridor

Can you imagine how much time it took me to add all of this single veggies, fruits and other stuff from the debug? I bet you can't. Too long! But is was worth it!

The fun part! Secret exit from the basement, hidden in the bushes, hehe.

You never know when you will need to secretly escape your own house, because of neighbor invaders.

1) Help and support Ukraine.

"stop shoving me!! my god i get it" beomgyu whined. taehyun and soobin were inside the bathroom trying to get his courage up for the meeting that will ensure in a few minutes.

"do you?? this is serious beomgyu. student council" taehyun huffed as he crossed his hands. even though they were friends, he didnt want another member of the student council to be a slacker, if yn approves of him anyways.

"i know my god. relax will you?? its not the end of the world if i dont get it. besides why are you more nervous than me??" beomgyu asked irritatedly. he looked at the mirror for any imperfections. messing his hair a bit so it would look natural, he met taehyun's gaze through the mirror.

"what?"

"nothing" taehyun replied shortly.

"enough touching your hair you're messing it up" soobin sighs as he held beomgyu's hand that was itching its way to touch his hair again.

"what time is it right now?"

"uhhh 4.05 pm"

"shit im late!!" beomgyu hurriedly looked at his own watch before running out of the bathroom and straight to the stairs. the student councils room was on floor 3, he was on floor 1. if he skipped 2 steps, maybe he could make it within a minute or two. so thats what he did, skipped the steps as fast as he could and ran to the student council room when he arrived to the third floor.

"im here!! im sorry im late." beomgyu pants as he opened the door to the student council room. inside was a room filled with 6 desks and bookcases behind each of them. the desks were all customised personally. some had plants, others had pillows and blankets, telling him that sometimes they slept here.

"its okay, i just finished with the other candidate. sit down beomgyu." you ushered him to sit infront of you.

to beomgyu, your desk was the cutest of them all. though it was kept clean and tidy, it had little bits here and there that let your personality shine through. you had a photo frame on the left side, a picture he couldn't see. little figurines of animals he assumes to cheer you up whenever you feel tired. a jacket on the head of your chair, signaling the room gets cold on occasion. colourful pens and highlighters inside a little pen container that had stickers on them. each and every thing confirmed what he thought of you. adorable, pretty, kind, the best.

"shall we get started?" you asked with a smile on your face. beomgyu can already feel himself melting. the ac that was directly blowing on him and you did nothing to help him.

"of course."
