Stsg anon back at it again with a new idea for you to eat!!! poly, teen!stsg where they both develop a crush on reader who’s quiet, who’s timid, who keeps to themselves. Not as strong as either of them and not as popular. They two are best friends and they certainly won’t fall apart over a crush, so they talk it out and decide they’re both perfectly fine with arranging some sort of polyamory (if you return their feelings, of course. That was something suguru pointed out btw 😭)

(…which they both convince themselves is totally just for the sake of maintaining their friendship, just for the sake of both of them getting to date you, totally not also because there’s some romantic tension between them that they aren’t ready to face yet.)

But they have such different ideas on how to go about courting you and they bicker (lightheartedly) about it all the time. Suguru who thinks that they should go about it gently, kindly, who thinks they should take it slow. Who’s so thoughtful, who recognises that being flirted with by two very attractive and popular guys could be overwhelming, especially for someone shy and introverted. Who’s charming because he’s gentle, because he brings you food when you mentioned you were in a rush and forgot to make your own, who’s just so kind and always seems to offer you a spot with him and satoru when he spots you alone in your classroom at lunch. Who gives the softest smiles and gently taps your shoulder to get your attention, who’s big hands gently brush against your own when he hands you a worksheet.

But Satoru is eager. Confident, exceedingly so. Who, when he wants something, he gets it. He’s the Satoru Gojo for the love of god, he knows he’s everybody’s dream man, so he sees no reason in waiting or being slow- who, not for the first time in his life, needs suguru to calm him down and force him to be rational and not freak you out. He’s the embodiment of a lovesick puppy. Who showers you in gifts even if you aren’t dating yet, because he just can’t resist ! Who brings you flowers he remembers you said you liked, who writes witty and flirty notes and chucks them at your head (gently) in class when the teacher isn’t looking, who’s always slinging an arm around your shoulder, flicking your forehead, ruffling your hair. Who grins and winks at you in such a satoru way, who excitedly grabs your hand and interlinks your fingers when he wants to bring you somewhere, who has to physically hold himself back from squealing and giggling like a schoolgirl when he catches you glancing or blushing at either of them.

Both of them who make sure nobody gives you shit, who are with you constantly, always making sure you’re okay and not upset about anything, who help you to become a little more self confident and extroverted (around them at least), and who don’t mind it when it’s one of those days where you’d prefer to just be your normal self, to read and be alone (alone from everyone but them of course, god forbid the clingy bfs go a second without you..)

were you nervous about finally confessing your feelings to akaashi on valentine’s day of all days? absolutely

he was one of, if not the prettiest, impressively athletic, and overwhelmingly intelligent boys in your class

he probably got at least ten confessions on the daily

and valentine’s day simply doubled the number

and here you were, with your tiny valentine’s day card and box of chocolates in hand

you had heard from all the girls that he had been turning down confessions left and right, only adding onto your mountain of nerves

little did you know that he was waiting for you

an absolutely chaotic mess on valentine’s day

he’s so excited that he finally has someone to spoil, so he wants to go all out

he figured that the best present to get you was the biggest teddy bear he could find

he went to 6 stores and dragged asahi and tanaka with him

he saw a teddy bear that was literally twice his size and went “I’LL TAKE IT”

mans has no chill, he spent literally his entire allowance on it

his grandpa didn’t even bat an eye PFFT

when nishinoya showed up at your doorstep with a chunky teddy bear in tow, you had no words. truly. it had been at the stroke of midnight when he texted you to come outside and see the valentine’s gift he had gotten you. you had said that this could wait until morning, but he insisted that this could not wait another moment. it was technically valentine’s day, after all! this resulted in you dragging yourself down the stairs of your home to greet him at the door. to your surprise, yet at the same time not surprising you in the slightest, was noya carrying the largest teddy bear you had ever laid your eyes on. not only that, but tanaka and what appeared to be a very exhausted asahi accompanied him.

“y/n-chan!” nishinoya shouted boldly and triumphantly, getting down on one knee which instantly made you panic. he wasn’t going to propose, was he? no he wouldn’t. would he? oh god. your words got caught in your throat, trying to formulate some kind of response to his sudden and incoming declaration. yet, a proposal never came. he held up the teddy bear as if it were simba from the lion king, the entire stuffed animal basically shielding his shorter form from your view. you suppressed a snort with your hand.

“i searched far and wide for this gigantic teddy bear for you, please accept it this valentine’s day!” nishinoya said loud and clear from behind the bear. you were having trouble stifling your laughter because from your angle, it looked like the bear itself was saying these words to you. you attempted to take the huge bear from his arms but it ended up being a lot heavier than you anticipated.

“noya, really this is-”

“take the picture!” noya whisper shouted to tanaka, who was holding up his phone camera with a thumbs up. noya posed beside you with an arm tossed around your waist, throwing up a peace sign and sticking out his tongue. leave it to yuu nishinoya to spoil you with the biggest bear he could find. it was incredibly endearing, especially when you found out from asahi that he nearly got kicked out from a walmart after knocking down the entire teddy bear display. he could be the biggest dork sometimes. but you wouldn’t trade him for the world.

“shit fuck, oh god- shit!” koushi mumbled to himself as he was spilling some of the red cupcake mix over the side of the bowl. you were trying your best not to laugh too much but you couldn’t help your giggles when koushi shot you a playfully annoyed glare, his nose powered with sugar and flourmaking him look straight out of a victorian magazine. baking with koushi had gone just as well as you thought it would. there was a lot of flour being thrown around, a few stray chocolate chips and sprinkles now on the floor serving as reminders of past quarrels. koushi had always been a rather chaotic individual behind his “soft boy” demeanour he liked to flaunt. he could be so goofy and fun. he could be your greatest hype man but also the person you knew could be in your corner when it counted. and here the two of you were, making a mess in your shared kitchen at nine at night for a valentine’s day date.

“honey, you’re mixing it too fast!”

“i’m mixing it just fine, see look! it’s supposed to be this thick,” his ahoge bobbed back and forth atop his head as he mixed with quite literally his entire torso. his tongue poked out of the corner of his mouth as he focused hardcore on the making sure the mixture was abolished of any and all chunkiness present. you rolled your eyes, a wide smile on your face despite his stubbornness. “the oven’s been preheating for thirty minutes now.”

“well the oven can wait,” he huffed, tapping the neck of the whisk against the bowl to remove the excess mix before grabbing a ladle to begin scooping all the mix into the muffin tin. not without another mess, of course.

you were bickering like an old married couple as your hands reached greedily for the ladle that already had some cupcake mix in it. koushi held it out of your reach, causing him to back up into the counter while you hopped in an attempt to get it back. in your desperate attempts, you slipped on the flour from your little past war and caused the two of you to collapse to the floor in a heap of giggles and laughter.

yeah, you two would definitely never be touching any sort of recipe after that day, you absolute menaces.

The Untamed: What’s that about, Cam?

So Cam, what’s this “The Untamed” thing that you’ve been reblogging so much and has resurrected your urge to write? I’m glad you probably didn’t asked! (Note: This is written from the perspective of a Norwegian who’d never read the novel, is fairly unfamiliar with Chinese drama and once in a blue moon falls for a M/M ship. This is that blue moon, and boy, does it shine. Opinions within are simply my opinions.)

What’s it about: “The Untamed” (Chén Qíng Lìng or CQL) is a Chinese web-drama based on a novel called Mo Dao Zu Shi (”The Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation”). It is set in an ancient Chinese fantasy universe where there is magic, zombies, monsters, adventures and a lot of very, very pretty people. It’s an action-adventure murder mystery zombie drama with humor. Yep. In the first episode, Wei Wuxian - the main character - dies and is then brought back 16 years later through a body sacrifice ritual. Yep, that’s the start. Wei Wuxian proceeds to run into people from his past, including Lan Wangji, his former classmate and very definitely something else, and his angry brother who declares his desire to see him dead. In this universe, “cultivation” is using a spiritual form of magic, and only a few can truly master it. There are several powerful clans/sects that sometimes work together and sometimes has leaders that conspire against the others. Everyone has several names and titles and you may need the occasional chart to remember it all. Also, there zombies and sword ghosts and magical music. After the first two episodes, the series flashes back to events 16 years prior and then jumps back to the present later on. Who are the characters?

Wei Ying: Talkative, smile that can out-cute a rabbit, likes his alcohol, likes his Lan Zhan, likes his jokes and mischief, thinks outside the box, scares most of the cultivation world later on. Yes, really, that cutiepie is feared.

The first main character is Wei Wuxian, also known as Wei Ying and later, Yiling Patriarch, a young and powerful cultivator who discovers a different way of cultivating and, through that and making a number of unortodox and defiant choices, end up on a collision course with the rest of the cultivation world.

Lan Zhan: Can murder you with a gaze and then his sword, scary af when wants to, likes his rabbits, his Wei Ying, composes love songs with mushed ship names and is respected by most of the cultivation world yet doesn’t strive to be. The second main character is Lan Wangji, also known as Lan Zhan and Hanguang Jun. He appears reserved and cold to many, speaking only rarely. At first, he and Wei Ying do not get along, but they later form a strong relationship that is implicitly love in the series (explicitly so in the novel - they marry there). Other important characters are Jiang Cheng (Wei Wuxian’s brother), Lan Xichen (Lan Wangji’s brother), Jiang Yanli (Wei Wuxian’s senior sister), Jing Guangyao/Meng Yao, someone who is looked down on by many because of his background but later becomes a powerful sect leader, Nie Huaisang, who is not a fighter like his older brother and loves his fans and solves issues his way, Wen Ning, an adorable puppy who is also known as the ghost general - and loads of other people. Seriously, it takes a while to sort everyone out. Why Cam likes it: First and foremost, I fell for the relationship between Wei Ying and Lan Zhan. I love me some good partner dynamics, and this one has that in spades. Wei Ying and Lan Zhan are very different in personality, but they share a sense of loyalty, commitment, desire to protect and strong values. While their relationship has angst and rocky patches, it is caring and loving. It’s basically the sort of stuff I go for: some angst, a lot of cute, mutual caring, uniting against common foes, characters that compliment each other, great chemistry - yes, I’ll have some of that.

Jaaaaaaaam.

In mortal danger and saving each other’s life jam. They also kind of end up as co-parents for a kid. There are also a lot of other complicated, interesting and downright tragic relationships (familiar, friendly, romantic and just plain complicated) and characters. I have a serious soft spot for Lan Xichen, for instance, while others are all about Wen Qing, some just want Jiang Cheng to get some theraphy already... On and on, there are a lot of very different characters to enjoy. Secondly, it has an interesting world with a fantastical elements that I hadn’t read or seen that much before before (as sadly, I have mostly run across Western fantasty stuff, with some expections). It draws a lot from ancient China, and has some great music, costumes and scenery. They managed to differentiate the five main sects really well, and some of the scenery is just gorgeous. Thirdly, everyone is really pretty. I am shallow. Sue me. Fourth, the plot has some really interesting stuff. The novel is a lot more grey than the series, but the series also has elements of that, as well as people ending up doing not so great things out of the best of intentions. There is also a happy ending of sorts for the two main characters (and some others), though there are tragedies along the way. Along the way, there are a lot of really great emotional scenes, and some funny moments as well. Fifth, while not all the action is great, some of the fight sequences are very fluid and dance-like and pretty. The use of music as a part of the battle also works well at times. Sixth, though it has clonkier bits, the series feels like a labor of love. It has charm and goodwill and people who clearly cared when making it. There is a lot of BTS stuff for it as well. Seventh - adorable bunnies and Fairy the dog. Some stuff to consider if wanting to watch: - This is a Chinese drama, which means it is subject to Chinese cencorship. This is why the relationship between Wei Ying and Lan Zhan is explicit in the novel, but only implied in the series. However, what they do manage to get past the cencors is pretty amazing. There are still slow-motion romantic zoom, lots of loving glances, some dialogue that goes pretty far, and some physical affection (though nowhere near as much as in the novel due to cencorship). - The actors for the main characters do a great job, but the character - and acting - of Lan Wangji can take some episodes to appreciate sine it’s a character that communicates a lot through very minor facial expressions. There are some other good performences also, some decent ones, some varied, and some a bit eh to me. Your mileage may vary. - All the characters are dubbed. It’s a Chinese drama thing. You get used to it. - The first two episodes (set in “the present”) are really confusing on first time viewing. Episodes 3 to mid-33 are flashback episodes set 16 years prior. It is worth rewatching ep 1 & 2 when you have a clearer idea of what is going on. - The CGI is... yes, well, not always great. The first few episodes have some real CGI clunkers and there is some stuff later on too. - The editing can be a bit off. Cuts between shots don’t always lign up, and some episodes have good end points, while others end mid-scene and then pick it up in the next. The sound editing is also sometimes a bit off, and fine at other times. - There are fifty - 50 - episodes, so you’re in for quite the watch. - There aren’t a lot of female characters in the story. There are some, and a few of them I really enjoyed, but the series and novel definitely have mostly male characters. - The series changes several things from the novel, including plot points and how the story is structured and told. Several characters are also different to their novel counterparts, sometimes minorly so, sometimes majorly. I came to the series first, the read the novel, while others have done it the other way. You may ending up prefering one or the other. To me, the novel does better at some things, and the series does better at others. - The series have been a major hit and the novel was very popular, and as such, you can find a fair amount of fanart, fanfic, merch and so on. - The novel has a happy ending for the main characters, though not all. The series has a more implied happy ending for the main characters, though again, not all. Where can you find it? Interview Jitters (pt.2)

Summary: A few months after your previous press junket Y/N and Tom had finally started dating. Not too long into the relationship, Y/N had begun auditions for the role of Captain Marvel and luckily got it! Because you guys were the youngest members of the MCU and the hottest new superheroes everyone was obsessed with, in the months following the Avengers: Infinity War madness you guys were put together to do interviews and panels at events like Comic-Cons. You two had decided to keep a secret from the fans; you were just getting used to the influx of people who were supporting you and you feared that because you two had already been shipped so much that your relationship would be put on an unrealistic pedestal. However, of course, your boyfriend had a hard time not starting at you and smiling like an idiot in love during these things and the fans were starting to become more and more suspicious. Author’s Note: whaddup someone requested a pt.2 to this and seeing all the ugly that went down at that one event with those certain people made me want to give yall some nice fluff bc we all deserve it! also i hit bad writers block with my series young dumb and broke and didnt update when i was supposed to and i feel real bad and ill hopefully have the next chapter by the end of the week ok. if you ever have a request or something for me pls don’t ever hesitate to send it to me! You and Tom were laying lazily in bed waiting to be escorted to your designated events at Comic-Con. It was your second day there and luckily you were always put together to do stuff so you got to spend a lot of time with your boyfriend. While waiting you two were just scrolling through your socials. You were checking twitter and noticed you were getting a large amount of screenshots sent to you of Tom staring at you with heart eyes during an interview. A lot of tweets all said something along the lines of “are you sure nothing is going on between you guys?”

You smiled and pointed your phone in his direction.

“Baaabe you need to stop,” you said giggling.

“Stop what?! That’s just my face love!” he said trying his best to seem innocent.

“You know what I mean babe!”

“I’m sorry that I’m dating the best girl in the world and my face isn’t doing a good job of hiding it!”

You climbed into his lap and quickly pecked him on the lips.

“You know what I mean spidey.”

He smiled into the kiss and leaned his forehead against yours.

“Why can’t we just tell them?”

“In due time my love,” you said giving him a reassuring smile.

There was a knock at the door and the to of you embarked on your day full of activities.

After a while of photo ops and signing things you finally embarked on a few interviews. The both of you recognized one of the interviewers which was the same woman who did the interview where she showed you the clip of Tom. You both smiled at her and greeted her with a hug.

“What a small world!” Tom said as you both sat in front of the woman.

“It’s so nice to see you both again Y/N, Tom!”

“It’s nice to see you too! It’s genuinely nice to see a familiar face amongst the madness,” you said smiling.

“Now not only are you too in the same movie but you guys get to play such iconic characters in one of the biggest movie franchises in the world! Y/N, getting a role like the iconic Captain Marvel must be so overwhelming. What was that process like? How have the fans been reacting?”

“Oh my god it was overwhelming. I remember a lot of 3 a.m. phone calls to this guy over here and I was just bawling after one of the auditions yelling about how I would never get the part because I wasn’t good enough for that and now fast forward a few months and I’m here and its all getting so real!”

“You didn’t think you’d get the part? Are you insane?!”

“She for some reason always doubts her skills! Like I spent a majority of the phone call telling her to calm down and that she was genuinely one of the best actresses ever. Also she did so much research she had comics and stuff always strewn about her apartment, I knew in the back of my mind there’s no way she can’t get this part. Are you joking? Also I wouldn’t doubt Marvel would hire her based off personality alone.”

“Took a lot of trips to her apartment there eh?”

“Well no I mean we’d facetime sometimes too,” he said leaning into his hand, using some of his fingers to cover the cheeky smile he had on his face.

“Also the fans have been super nice! I was quite scared to enter a franchise like this considering the fans will either love ya or hate ya but I’ve gotten mostly good feedback! I think people were just happy to have me and this kid back in action together,” you said trying to change the subject in an inconspicuous way.

“Okay so I know the fans have a lot of questions about the two of you and your love life, but I have a question I feel I have to really get off my chest. Who do you guys reckon would win in a battle: Captain Marvel or Spider-Man?”

“Captain Marvel. No doubt about it, no questions asked, no discussions needed,” you said instantly with a huge smile on your face.

“Excuse me? I reckon Spider-Man would put up a good fight.”

“Oh yeah there’s no doubt in my mind that Spider-Man would definitely try his best, I’m just saying Captain Marvel would absolutely crush him.”

“Why?”

“Okay look spoiler alert if you haven’t watched Infinity War,” you said looking into the camera, “but who does Nick Fury contact to save the world? Captain Marvel. All the while spidey is too busy being dust in someone’s vacuum cleaner. That alone should be an indication of the sheer power that is Captain Marvel.”

You sat there looking into the camera with a proud smile on your face.

“Now that was a low blow,” he said smiling at you.

“I mean she has got a point,” the interviewer said amidst laughter.

After a few more questions the two of you finished the interview and moved on to a panel that included a fan Q & A. The two of you were enjoying answering questions and being able to have some friendly banter. Suddenly the next person asking a question was what seemed like a young mother with a child.

“Hiiii um, my 5-year-old Hunter has a question for you Y/N.”

You got super excited and even stepped closer to the edge of the stage and knelt to look at the tiny five-year-old who was dressed as a tiny StarLord.

“Oh my god hi Hunter!! You are so adorable buddy! What’s your question?”

“Hi Y/N, um, my question is if you would be my girlfriend?”

The crowd erupted in aw’s and cheers. You smiled at the tiny five-year-old.

“Of course Hunter. I would never say no to a little tiny StarLord like you!”

The crowd started clapping and aw-ing again.

“Dude did you just steal my girlfriend?” Tom said amidst laughter.

The crowd erupted in screams. You sat at the edge of the stage and immediately started dying of laughter. You turned back to look at Tom who was trying to hide his red face with his hands but who was also dying of laughter. You could tell he let it slip out without thinking about it.

“Wait so are you guys dating?” the moderator said trying to get a clear answer.

“Are we all surprised that it was Tom that let this cat out of the bag?” you said walking back to the couch and taking a seat a little closer to Tom.

He wrapped one of his arms around and pulled you in for a quick kiss, causing the crowd to go crazy once again.

“Hey, at least this one is far less embarrassing than the last time! This time people actually know you like me back” he said smiling at you.
