just thinking about how you and johnny are practically attached at the hip.

he's constantly over your place for takeaways and bad telly or he's dragging you out to clamber up some hill or through a national trust park "for the fresh air, bonnie!"

johnny sends you endless voice notes talking about his day, about the mischief he's gotten up to with kyle or how simon had run him ragged at the gym. in return you send him silly memes or links to tiktok trends and your own rambling voice notes complaining about how your favourite contestant had been eliminated from the silly reality show you'd been watching.

your camera roll is filled with shirtless sweaty gym pics from where they'd saved automatically from your messages. his camera roll is full of answering photos of you half awake and mugging for the camera from the comfort of your bed, your hair a mess and pillow creases on your face.

just thinking about how both of you are super tactile with each other. you mindlessly play with his hair when you're sat next to him at the pub, squished up on one side of the booth opposite simon and kyle. johnny slings his arm around your shoulders and watches the way you gesticulate as you bicker with simon. (neither of you notice kyle's glances between the two of you or catch the sneaky fist bump with simon as a wager is placed when you and johhny come back from the bar with a fresh round for everyone)

just thinking about how your stomach sinks a little bit and how your smile feels brittle every time johnny tells you he's met someone. it's a little bit harder than normal to enjoy johnny's presence when you have to share it with the woman he's seeing but you try anyway. you try not to be "that friend", you try to keep the anecdotes about past nights out or silly stories that only you and johnny know to a minimum. you pull away a little bit from all the usual casual touches you'd normally lean into, aware that her eyes are on you. and you don't want to ruin your friend's happiness with someone else, you really don't, even when you feel your lips twitch with a tiny involuntary frown when he kisses her in front of you.

i'm just thinking about how the people johnny date don't seem to stick around for long after they've met you. you ask him about it once when you're slumped together on your sofa, something lighthearted and daft playing on tv in the background. johnny just shrugs and says something about how they wanted different things (because there's no way he's telling you that his latest ex screamed in his face about how it was so fucking obvious that he was in love with you, even as he denied it and said that you were just good friends).

i'm thinking about what would happen if you started to see someone casually and johnny asks to meet them. how unlike you when you meet his dates, he seems to dial up the friendly touches. he dominates the conversation with stories that always end with "remember that, bonnie?" and a wicked grin. he even pulls up a video of him hitting a new personal record for his hip thrusts at the gym and mean mugs the shit out of your date as you watch the video and praise him for his hard work.

i'm thinking about how you'd pop to the bathroom at some point and by the time you come back your date is gone and johnny's shrugging it off like its no big deal. and yeah, you're a little bit disappointed but johnny comes back to your place with you and settles onto the sofa like he belongs there, leaning up against your side all solid and dependable and quintessentially johnny.

(and in the morning when you check your messages you're not surprised that your date has called it off with you, but you can't bring yourself to care as a thick forearm snakes around your waist and pulls you back against a warm naked body. the gravelly voice of your best friend johnny rumbling in your ear and peppering kisses down your neck...)

(the next time you and johnny meet up with simon and kyle for drinks at the pub, you walk in together hand in hand. simon silently holds out an open palm to kyle as kyle rifles through his wallet and complains that if you had just waited one more week he would've won the bet. bloody selfish of the pair of you.)

next is Vuzi- Violentviolet, they are my favorite kind of enemies to lovers 😔 but its also tragic smh. kinda pissed off at how V always does something good in Uzis favor only when she is LITERALLY PASSED OUT- either in the camp ep on the bus or in Alices lab. like damn ofFUCKINGcourse Uzi wouldnt know she cares about her 😭😭😭

Next we have JxTessa/Jessa- [calling them Fancyblades cuz why not-] J deserves some closure for the shit shes gone through smhhh 😔, its a tragic yuri of J loving and wanting something she probably already accepted she couldnt have, and even then she gotta deal with Ns ass being the favorite one regardless of how hard she tries to be perfect... sighhh i wanna imagine them in a future where Tessa was spared as the only human and J could save her 😭😭😭😭 Tessa might have loved doing mechanical stuff or wore black to hide grease/oil stains on her clothes from her parents and wore gloves to hide her oily stained hands- i want her to have a scene of wiring drones back to life and saving them and saying something like "hey there, you made it! dont worry, ill take care of you, youre my friend now :3" or something //dies//, also before anyone says it- even if Tessa was a teen in the flashbacks- romance is not exclusive to ADULTS, teens can love eachother without having sexual stuff involved. no she was not their MOTHER figure, she was their FRIEND who liked to fix robots for herself to not be alone in a house where her own parents literally chain her up as punishment. i dont even know why im arguing about this, people headcanon or make aus about characters NOT being dead all the time and if Tessa was alive for as long as J thought she was, Tessa would have been a perfectly fine adult either way. so counting this, yes shes canonically considered an adult when Cyn tries to imitate an adult humans body 🙄 makes as much sense as everything else i guess-

next ones i got is NorixYeva/Neva- Solverlilies- i just think theyre neat 😭😭😭 and once again, like everything else in this franchise- they are tragic yuris 😔 damn liam im finding a pattern over here 🤨 anyway, i like to think they either got closer in the lab experimentations or were already close when they were working as WDs in the campsite area for the humans. obviously canonically they were probably straight or just not into eachother romantically- [Nori either u have the worst taste men or Khan just fucking lost it after you died-] but also on the other handddd.... they have 2 hands and they are robots, i want them to kiss like two barbie dolls and im gonna make them do just that-

DollxLizzy/Dizzy- Bloodypink, wost fucking ship names ever, i cant find shit on them with these tags and it makes me angry >:/ at this point 2/3s of my ships are just tragic yuris smh, Doll did not deserve any of the things handed to her, even if she went about doing some things the wrong way i wish Lizzy didnt just abandon her- but then again, Doll did kinda abuse Lizzys trust and Lizzy got scared of being close to a serial murderer so.... morality calls this a draw? 😭 im crying... i wish someone was there to help Doll... sigh... i like to think Lizzy would have waited for Doll to just come back at some point... oh well, thats why AUs exist :"3 //sobs in the corner//

DollxUzi/Dollzi- Bloodybats, this ship is so underrated to me... they could have been... so much more. but why weren't they? did Yeva abandon ever getting close to Uzi when she was a kid after Nori died? did Uzi and Doll just never play around together as kids when their mothers were so close? were they ever close and something went wrong as they grew older? at worst they could have been like sisters together, and at best maybe more than friends. i just dont know what happened here, like Yeva could have tried to keep an eye on Uzi, maybe Uzi could have found Dolls powers so cool before having them too- i dont know theres literally tons of possibilities- but if Doll deserved to be saved or cared for by anyone, at least one of them should have been Uzi... sigh.

ThadxV- Killingblonde, yall this is... the cutest shit... ever???? like from here on out we kinda go into the more or less crackship territory but these two are adorable- Dumbass yet wholesome jock boy that just wants to keep his queen happy 😔👌👌👌 He and Uzi would have so much to talk about on "crushing on literal murder bots that stabbed and almost ate us" its literally love at first stab smhhh 😫💕

Dolls disdain for the murder drones pushed her to end up the way she did. maybe if she didnt do it alone she would have been alive by now. so i like to think what would have happened if she and V could have made up- not necessarily Doll forgiving her- but at least having the space to grow and understand why they did they things that happened.

Cyn and literally ANYONE- i want the solver to be SEPARATE from Cyn- i wish Cyn would have still existed somewhere down there and was savable- i wish this poor child AI had a happy ending to her by connecting with the others as ACTUAL siblings... goddamnit 😔

The soft click of the door shutting behind him echoes through the vast quiet of Kensington Palace. Henry lets his head rest for a moment against the carved oak, his eyes fluttering closed as he breathes in the familiar scent of ancient wood and polished floors. The silence feels heavier here—thick and ancient, a far cry from the lively disarray of home, the heartbeat he’s come to rely on.

But there is no heartbeat here—just the polite indifference of the palace, cold and too grand for comfort.

The day has been long, stretched thin by endless meetings, a forced smile fixed to his face until it ached. And now, alone in his room, the weariness settles into his bones, an old companion he knows too well when he’s in England, when the distance between him and Alex is measured in entire oceans rather than hours.

He begins the mindless routine of unpacking his personal carry on, his fingers moving with the practiced precision of someone used to this lonely ritual. Clothes folded, toiletries stowed. But as he reaches for the jumper Henry had stolen outright before leaving, his hand brushes something unexpected.

It’s soft—a plush body that hadn’t been there before. Frowning, Henry pulls it free from his carry-on, his heart giving a peculiar lurch as he recognizes it. A stuffed Longhorn. Ridiculous, of course. Absolutely ridiculous.

And so completely, wonderfully Alex.

A small smile tugs at Henry’s lips as he holds the toy between his hands, fingers tracing the horns and the comically wide eyes. He can picture Alex picking it out with a mischievous grin, some cheeky comment about Henry needing a piece of Texas wherever he goes. It smells faintly of Alex’s cologne, too—just enough to make Henry’s chest ache with the familiar longing that’s never too far away when they’re apart.

He sinks onto the edge of his bed, cradling the Longhorn in his lap as if it were something infinitely precious. It’s silly, childish even, but there’s comfort in it—an absurd sort of joy that cuts through the dull, persistent ache of missing Alex.

Without thinking, he squeezes it—perhaps a touch too hard, because suddenly Alex’s voice breaks the silence, soft and warm, like he’s right there in the room.

“Hi, baby. I love you, and I miss you. I can’t wait for you to come home.”

Henry freezes, his heart stumbling in his chest. For a moment, it feels like he’s stepped outside of time, suspended in the tender echo of Alex’s voice. It’s so achingly familiar, that honey-smooth drawl, the way it curls at the edges of the words as though Alex is smiling when he says it.

"Hi, baby."

God, how those words settle like sunlight against his skin.

"I love you, and I miss you."

His throat tightens, an uninvited lump of emotion building behind his ribs. How could something so simple—something so utterly Alex—leave him feeling both weightless and tethered at once? A single breath of home in this cavernous, cold palace.

He presses the Longhorn to his chest, his fingers curling into the soft fabric as he listens to the message again, savoring the warmth in Alex’s tone, the certainty threaded through every word.

“I can’t wait for you to come home.”

Henry exhales slowly, eyes fluttering shut as he allows himself to sink into the moment.

This, Henry thinks, is love. It’s a stuffed Longhorn nestled in his lap, whispering promises across the miles. It’s the quiet comfort of knowing that no matter how far he goes, no matter how alone the world might make him feel, Alex will always find a way to reach him.

Even here. Even now.

A smile pulls at his lips, slow and tender, as Henry presses the toy closer. He lies back against the pillows, exhaustion melting away in the warmth of Alex’s words, still echoing in his mind.

"Hi, baby. I love you, and I miss you."

He reaches for his phone between blinks, his fingers moving with a practiced familiarity, navigating to Alex’s contact with the speed of muscle memory. The small FaceTime icon glows blue under his thumb, and he presses it without hesitation.

The phone rings once. Twice. And then—there he is.

Alex’s face fills the screen, slightly grainy from the signal but no less perfect to Henry’s eyes. His hair is messier than usual, glasses on his face and a small ink blot on the corner of his mouth, but Alex’s grin is unmistakable, all teeth and warmth, and Henry’s heart stumbles at the sight of him.

“Hey,” Alex says, his voice cutting through the remaining distance like a balm, like coming up for air. “Miss me already?”

Henry’s chest tightens, his heart swelling with a rush of affection so potent it leaves him breathless for a moment. He smiles, soft and slow, eyes tracing the lines of Alex’s face as though he could memorize them all over again.

“Hi, my love,” he murmurs.

And in that moment, with Alex’s face glowing softly on the screen and the stuffed Longhorn tucked securely in his arms, Henry feels something inside him settle. He is home, in the only way that matters.

I did some height comparison stuff between @electrozeistyking Tiny!N and my DAS!Cyn, mainly bc the way that the Dormant Absolute Solver AU was born via this anon ask I sent Zeisty whilst sleep deprived when I later read the response to it & read it over again.

They switch scale if we use DAS!N for comparison for what DAS!Cyn usually looks like next to N. She's half his height.

Tiny!N would be about half of Das!Cyn's height. -- I don't know if this makes Tiny!N taller than I thought or Das!Cyn shorter than I thought (I suck at actually envisioning heights hence the chart for DAS main cast) but it makes me giggle.
