The moonlight spilled through the crack in your curtains, casting a silver glow across the bed where you lay tangled with Yunho. His arm was draped possessively over your waist, his breath warm against your neck as he slept soundly. You should have been exhausted too, after the way his hands and lips had mapped every inch of your body just moments ago, but sleep eluded you. Instead, your mind buzzed with the remnants of their shared passion and the weight of something unspoken that lingered between them.
Yunho stirred beside you, his fingers tracing lazy patterns on your hip. He murmured something incoherent, his voice thick with drowsiness, before his eyes fluttered open. He blinked a few times, clearly still half-asleep, but when his gaze settled on you, it softened with an affection that made your chest ache.
"Hey," he whispered, nuzzling closer to you. "Couldn’t sleep?"
You turned to face him, brushing a strand of hair out of his eyes. "Not really."
He propped himself up on one elbow, studying you with those piercing eyes of his. The dim light caught the faint stubble on his jaw, and you couldn’t resist reaching up to stroke it. His skin was rough under your fingertips, a stark contrast to the tenderness in his expression.
"What’s on your mind?" he asked, his voice low and gravelly.
You hesitated, unsure how to articulate the mix of worry and desire swirling inside you. It had been months since you two started this… arrangement. Late nights at work turning into even later nights at his place or yours. No labels, no promises, just raw, undeniable chemistry that neither of you could ignore. But now, lying here in the quiet aftermath of their heated encounter, you couldn’t shake the feeling that things were shifting.
"I don’t know," you finally admitted. "Maybe… maybe I’m just thinking about how much has changed in such a short time."
Yunho watched you for a moment, his expression unreadable. Then he leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead. "It has," he agreed softly. "But not all change is bad, right?"
You nodded slowly, though his answer did little to ease the knot of anxiety in your stomach. He seemed to sense your unease because he shifted closer, wrapping both arms around you and pulling you flush against his chest. His heart thumped steadily beneath your ear, a rhythmic reassurance that grounded you somehow.
"Hey," he said again, tilting your chin up so he could meet your gaze. "Are you happy with me?"
The question caught you off guard, but the sincerity in his eyes stopped any glib response from forming on your lips. "Yes," you said honestly, your voice trembling slightly. "I am."
You swallowed hard, torn between relief and the creeping realization that this conversation was headed somewhere serious—a place you weren’t sure you were ready to go. Before you could say anything, Yunho pulled back slightly, resting his head against the pillow and staring at the ceiling.
"We’ve been doing this for a while now," he began, his voice careful, measured. "Meeting up late, sneaking around… I think we’ve done enough sneaking."
Your stomach dropped at his words, a mixture of fear and anticipation churning inside you. Was he ending it? Was this the end of whatever this was between the two of you?
"What are you saying?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
Yunho turned to look at you again, his eyes searching yours for something intangible. "I’m saying… maybe it’s time for our daughters to meet."
The room fell silent, save for the faint hum of the air conditioner and the steady rhythm of your breathing. You stared at him, your mind racing as his suggestion sank in. Our daughters. The casual use of the word sent a shiver down your spine. This wasn’t just about the two of you anymore—it was about your families, your daughters' lives colliding in ways you hadn’t dared to imagine.
"You’re serious," you said finally, though it wasn’t really a question.
He nodded, his expression completely serious now. "I am. I think they’d get along. And..." He paused, his grip tightening around you. "And if you’re okay with it, maybe we could… I don’t know, do this properly?"
Properly.
The word hung heavy in the air between you both, laden with implications that made your heart race. Proper means commitment, structure, and a future. It meant stepping out of the shadows and into the light, embracing something real and tangible. But it also meant vulnerability, exposing yourselves—and your daughters—to the possibility of heartbreak.
"Yunho…" you started, your voice trailing off as you struggled to form coherent thoughts.
"I know it’s a lot," he cut in quickly, sensing your hesitation. "And I get it if you’re not ready. But I just… I feel like we’re worth taking that risk."
His words hit you like a punch to the gut, leaving you breathless and emotional. Were you worth it? The question echoed in your mind, challenging your deepest fears and insecurities. Could you trust him, trust this fragile connection you both had built? Or would diving deeper only lead to more pain in the end?
Before you could respond, Yunho leaned in, capturing your lips in a tender kiss. It wasn’t frantic or urgent like your earlier encounters; it was slow, deliberate, filled with unspoken promises and emotions you weren’t ready to unpack yet. When he pulled back, his eyes were soft, pleading.
"Think about it," he whispered, his thumb brushing against your cheek. "Just… think about it."
You nodded weakly, unable to muster any coherent words.
"Come on," he said gently, tugging you closer. "Let’s get some sleep. We can talk more tomorrow."
But sleep was impossible now. As Yunho drifted back into slumber, his arms securely wrapped around you, your mind refused to quiet. The weight of his proposal pressed down on you, stirring up emotions you didn’t have the energy to fully explore.
What would you say? The thought lingered as you stared at the ceiling, your fingers absently tracing the curve of his bicep. This wasn’t just about you and Yunho anymore—it was about the lives you’d created, the futures you’d built. And if you took that leap, there was no going back.
"Kiss me again," you murmured suddenly, surprising even yourself with the request.
Yunho’s eyes fluttered open, confusion flickering across his face before it melted into understanding. He chuckled softly, the sound rumbling in his chest. "You always know how to keep me on my toes."
Before he could move, you surged forward, capturing his lips in a desperate, hungry kiss. You needed to feel him, to lose yourself in the heat of his touch, if only for a moment. Your hands clawed at his shoulders, nails digging into his skin as you pressed your body against his.
"Is this your way of telling me yes?" he teased between kisses, his voice laced with amusement and lust.
You pulled back just enough to glare at him, though the effect was ruined by the flush creeping up your cheeks. "Shut up and kiss me," you ordered, punctuating your demand with another searing kiss.
Yunho complied without hesitation, his hands roving down your sides as his lips devoured yours. The world outside dissolved into nothingness, leaving only the two of you locked in a passionate embrace. It was reckless and impulsive, exactly what you needed to distract yourself from the gravity of his proposal.
But deep down, you knew this wouldn’t last forever. Sooner or later, you’d have to face the reality of his words, the choice you’d have to make. For now, though, you let yourself sink into the moment, reveling in the way his body felt against yours, the way his lips moved against your own.
"Tell me what you want," Yunho whispered against your ear, his breath hot and tantalizing. "I'll give it to you."
"I just want this," you said, a sudden wave of emotion swelling up inside you. "I just want you, Yunho."
He looked down at you, his gaze tender and almost achingly affectionate. Then he cupped your cheek, his thumb tracing along your jawline. "You have me," he murmured, leaning in to brush his lips against yours. "You have all of me."
Your heart swelled in your chest as he deepened the kiss, losing himself in the feel of his mouth against yours and his hands caressing your body. No, the choice would come soon enough, but in this moment, he was yours. And right now, that was all that mattered.
Yunho hovered above, his fingers entangled with yours on either side of your head. With each movement, the mattress beneath you shuddered.
"Say my name," he panted, his forehead glistening with sweat.
He slid in and out, filling you perfectly with every stroke. Each time, he touched a sensitive spot, the one that made your stomach clench. A tiny noise escaped your lips, breathy, low, desperate.
"Y- Yunho," you managed.
He plunged deeper, bringing the sensations of your body even closer together. Everything else seemed so far away: the room around you, the world. The only thing that mattered was the feeling of him moving against you, bringing you to that blissful edge.
"That's it," he breathed, leaning down to trace the tip of his tongue up the column of your neck. "Say it again."
"Oh god, Yunho," you sighed as you rocked your hips to meet his thrusts.
A delicious smirk stretched his face as he captured your lips for a fleeting moment. He drove faster and deeper, the sounds of flesh against flesh filling the quiet room. His strong hands gripped your waist and his cock nudged your innermost barrier as a cry escaped you.
"Again."
You fisted the sheets above your head, desperately clinging to any sense of control. He slammed his hips into you, reaching further inside. "Oh God," you moaned, overwhelmed.
"Not quite." He moved faster, his pace erratic as he chased his climax.
"Oh, Yunho," you finally gasped, giving in to the white heat that surged through your entire being.
Your toes curled and you squeezed him tight as an explosive rush rushed through you.
"That's my good girl." A long moan escaped him as he buried his face in the crook of your neck. "You are a good girl, aren't you?"
A warmth spread through your abdomen as Yunho's orgasm rolled over him in slow waves. Your fingers slid through his hair, cradling his head. "The best girl."

The next morning, you wake up to the faint sound of birds chirping outside your window. The sunlight filters through the blinds, casting a warm glow across the room. Yunho is still asleep beside you, his breathing steady and calm.
Damn, you needed him again. Last night wasn't enough. The sun was barely peeking through the thick clouds, and you already needed more of his body heat and musky, earthy scent to start the day off. His weight felt warm, familiar and comforting.
He stirred, rolling onto his side and tugging your body into his. A slow, content smile spread across his handsome face when his eyes met yours, and your heart fluttered at the sight of his sleep-tousled hair and half-lidded gaze.
"Morning," you hummed.
"G'morning, beautiful,” he sighed.
You reached out, running your fingers through his messy hair, and his dark eyes fluttered closed, his expression relaxed and peaceful. A sense of longing filled your chest. What would it be like to wake up like this every day?
"What are you thinking about?" He asked, sensing the shift in your mood.
You paused, hesitating before replying, "Just... thinking about everything that's happened in the past few months. How we've grown closer, gotten to know each other better."
He raised an eyebrow. "And?"
"I guess...I'm afraid of losing this. Us,” you said softly.
He glanced down, running his thumb along your bottom lip. "You don't have to be afraid. I'm not going anywhere."
It wasn't fair how he always knew the right things to say and just the right way to hold you. How did he manage to be both perfect and imperfect simultaneously?
"What are you thinking?" You murmured back.
A hint of a smile played across Yunho's face. "I'm thinking about how much I enjoy spending time with you. How much happier you make me. How much I want this to work, so we never have to let go."
His words settled into your heart. They felt true, but they scared you nonetheless.
"But what happens if we screw this up?" you asked.
His lips quirked into a crooked smile. "We won't. Because we want the same thing, remember? To give this a real shot."
"You're right," you breathed.
As Yunho wrapped an arm around you, you realized he had been right the whole time. There was no way to predict the future, to see where this might end up. All that was left was to trust each other, to follow your instincts and hope it was enough. And right now, nestled securely against him, that sounded like a pretty damn good plan.
With his sturdy chest as your pillow, you closed your eyes, savoring his presence. Whatever happened next, you'd handle it together.
Yunho tilted your chin, forcing you to look directly into those chocolate pools. "So?"
His unvoiced question hung in the air, heavy and hopeful. But before you could answer, he kissed you then, his hand moving to cradle your face as his lips slid against yours, your hips rolling lazily toward his. Your hands grasped his toned chest, moving down his body until you found what you wanted.
He let out a muffled sound, his breath hitching, before breaking the kiss to catch his breath. "Really? In the morning?"
Your fingers moved further down to stroke him, eliciting a low moan from him. "Don't complain."
He smirked, shaking his head, but it was quickly replaced with a gasp as he grew rock solid in your palm. You grinned at him and pushed him onto his back, moving to straddle him. His lips curved into a devilish smirk, but there was something soft, affectionate in his gaze as he reached to palm your breasts and fondle your nipples between his fingers.
His fingers stroked and kneaded at your nipple until it was sensitive. Your body hummed with pleasure, aching for him. You grinded against his bare thigh, earning a groan as he bit his lower lip and bucked up against your body.
He groaned loudly as he took control and flipped you onto your back, slipping inside. With each thrust, his length dragged out before plunging back into you, bringing forth little waves of bliss that threatened to swallow you whole.
"I can't get enough of you. Never will," he growled into your ear before nibbling your earlobe. His lips crashed down onto your parted ones. His tongue danced against yours, dominating the kiss. The sensation was exquisite, lighting up your nerves until they sang.
"O- oh god, Yunho," you sighed against his mouth as your fingernails scratched along the expanse of his toned back.
He thrusted again, harder, pushing further, stretching, making you cry out. The sound died out, swallowed by his hungry lips. Then another, another, until he was pounding into you, deep and rhythmic and insistent. Your heels dug into the backs of his muscular thighs, urging him deeper and deeper and deeper still. He let loose a shaky breath, panting.
"Do you like this?" Yunho panted against your lips. "This big dick deep inside you, filling you up and fucking you raw? I want to watch you cum, baby, and I won't stop until your pussy is nice and full."
You gasped, and his movements became even more frenzied, hips pistoning. He pressed his lips back to yours, kissing and nipping and licking. Your toes began curling into the mattress beneath. An overwhelming heat began swirling inside you, turning you molten. Your pleasure crested in waves, breaking and crashing around his cock.
"Fuck, yes, there's a good girl. That's my good girl," he drawled into the shell of your ear, voice wrecked. He rubbed the pad of his thumb across your wet, swollen clit in firm circles, edging you closer and closer to release. "Come for me, baby, let go. I've got you, I've always got you."
As if commanded by his words alone, your climax roared through you, leaving you trembling in its wake. The aftershocks kept your breath shallow, but you managed a contented sigh when Yunho gathered you tightly in his arms.
The two of you lay like that for some time: arms wrapped securely around each other; legs entangled and his fingers still lazily stroking your overheated flesh. The silence of the room was soothing, broken only by the soft ticking of the clock on your bedside table.
Finally, you poke. "Yunho... I think it might be worth it if the girls met."
His hand stills, his voice tinged with cautious optimism when he spoke, "Yeah?"
You look into his deep brown eyes and nod. He releases a shaky sigh, a beautiful smile tugging at the corners of his mouth as he closes his eyes and presses a delicate kiss to the tip of your nose. When his eyelids lift to reveal those big, expressive pools of chocolate, he whispers against the skin of your forehead, "I'll try anything as long as it means having more of you."
His thumb brushes against your cheek gently and tenderly as he locks gazes with yours. Those intense brown orbs look directly into yours and then his lips cover yours in a feather-soft embrace. The kiss is just as meaningful as it is brief, a promise for the future.
"We could finally spend quality time as families. Let the girls play. Have fun," you whispered, enjoying the warmth from his closeness.
"And maybe go on proper dates," he added with an air of hopeful excitement. "I'm sure one of our mutual friends can watch the girls for a few hours. They all have kids so I'm sure our girls will be fine."
"Can you imagine Jongho's girls and our girls playing together? I'm not sure about Yunhee but I can already see Sera tag-teaming with the Choi girls and causing chaos," you giggled.
He chucked deeply at that. "I wouldn't expect anything less."
"So are we doing this?" you asked.
His eyes softened. "Definitely," he promised, a tiny, lop-sided smile quirking the edge of his lips. "After today, things are going to be different. For the better."

Later that afternoon, you drive to Yunho’s house with your daughter in the backseat. She chatters excitedly about the playdate, her bright eyes shining with anticipation.
“Is she nice?” she asks for the hundredth time, twisting around in her seat to look at you.
“Of course she’s nice,” you reply, glancing at her in the rearview mirror. “She loves to draw and read, just like you.”
Your daughter claps her hands together, grinning wide. “That sounds so fun! Can we draw together?”
You smile, nodding. “Of course.”
When you pull into the driveway, Yunho is waiting outside with Yunhee. Your heart skips a beat at the sight of him, standing tall and confident in jeans and a fitted black t-shirt that shows off his broad shoulders. Beside him, Yunhee stands excitedly as she bounces on her heels, her dark hair cascading over her shoulders.
“Hi,” your daughter calls out, jumping out of the car and running toward them. “I’m Sera!”
Yunhee hesitates for a moment before stepping forward, her voice friendly. “Hi, Sera. I’m Yunhee.”
You watch as the two girls exchange shy glances, suddenly unsure of how to proceed. Yunho steps forward, crouching down to their level. “Why don’t you two go inside and get to know each other? Maybe you can show Sera your drawings.”
Yunhee’s eyes light up at the suggestion, and she takes Sera’s hand without hesitation. “Okay! Come on, I’ll show you my sketchbook.”
As they disappear into the house, you feel a lump rise in your throat. They could really be good friends, you think, watching their retreating figures. Yunho stands and brushes his hands off, a proud smile on his face.
“See?” he says, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. “I told you it’d be fine.”
You lean into him, sighing softly. “Yeah. You were right.”
He chuckles, his fingers tracing a path down your arm. “Come on, let’s give them some space. We deserve a little peace and quiet, don’t we?”
You follow him inside, your heart fluttering as he leads you toward the living room. The house is warm and welcoming, filled with the scent of freshly brewed coffee. Yunho grabs two mugs from the counter and hands one to you, his gaze never leaving yours.
“So,” he says, lowering himself onto the couch and pulling you down beside him. “How are you feeling about all this?”
You take a sip of your coffee, savoring the rich flavor. “I’m… cautiously optimistic, I guess. It’s a lot, but I think it could work.”
He nods, his expression thoughtful. “I understand why you’d be nervous. But I want you to know… I wouldn’t be doing this if I didn’t think we could make it work. For all of us.”
You meet his gaze, your cheeks warming under his intense stare. “Thank you, Yunho. For trusting me enough to try this.”
Yunho’s smile widens, his happiness radiating through the room like a warm glow. His fingers brush against yours, sending a small jolt of electricity up your arm.
“You have no idea how much this means to me,” he says softly, his voice tinged with sincerity. “Seeing you and Sera here… it feels right. Like everything is finally falling into place.”
“I think I feel the same way,” you admit, your voice barely above a whisper. You can’t help but smile back at him, your heart swelling with affection. The weight of the moment settles between you, heavy and hopeful.
He shifts closer, his arm draping over your shoulders as he pulls you into a gentle embrace. You rest your head against his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. It’s calming, grounding, and for the first time in what feels like forever, you let yourself believe that this—all of this—could be real.
“We’re going to make this work,” Yunho murmurs, his lips brushing against the top of your head. “For them, and for us.”
You nod, feeling a sense of resolve settle within you. “Yes,” you say firmly. “We will.”
The sound of laughter echoes from the other room, drawing your attention. You glance toward the hallway, where Sera and Yunhee are now sitting cross-legged on the floor, flipping through a sketchbook together. Their giggles are infectious, and you find yourself smiling even wider.
“They’re already getting along,” Yunho observes, his tone filled with pride. “See? This was the right decision.”
You lean into him again, letting the warmth of his presence soothe any lingering doubts. “It really was,” you agree. “And I’m glad we took this step.”
Yunho kisses the side of your forehead, his touch tender and reassuring. “Me too,” he says, his voice low and intimate. “More than you know.”

The amusement park looms ahead, a kaleidoscope of colors and sounds that sends a thrill through both you and Yunho. The anticipation is palpable as you load the girls into the car, Sera bouncing in her seat with excitement while Yunhee sits quietly, her eyes wide with curiosity.
“Are we there yet?” Sera asks for what feels like the hundredth time, her voice laced with an eagerness that makes your heart swell.
Yunho glances at you from the driver’s seat, a smile tugging at his lips. “Almost,” he says, his deep voice resonating with reassurance. “Just a few more minutes.”
You reach over to squeeze his hand, feeling the warmth of his skin against yours. It’s a small gesture, but it speaks volumes about the bond you’re building together. This outing isn’t just about the girls—it’s about testing the waters of this new family dynamic, seeing how you all fit together in the chaos of laughter and rides.
When you finally arrive, the park is alive with energy. The air hums with the chatter of families, the distant whir of roller coasters, and the occasional burst of music from a nearby stage. Sera practically leaps out of the car before Yunho has even turned off the engine, her excitement contagious. Yunhee follows with the same excitement although more cautiously, taking in the scene with a reserved curiosity.
“Alright, team,” Yunho says, rounding the car to join you. His tone is playful, but there’s an underlying seriousness to his words. “Let’s make today unforgettable.”
You nod, feeling a flutter of nerves mixed with hope. Unforgettable. That’s exactly what this day could be, if everything goes right. But you know better than to expect perfection. Life rarely unfolds according to plan, especially when kids are involved.
As you navigate through the park, Sera quickly latches onto Yunhee, both girls chattering excitedly about which rides or games to play first. They head straight for the carousel, giggling as they choose their horses. You and Yunho trail behind, keeping an eye on them while stealing moments of conversation between yourselves.
“They seem to be getting along well,” you say, your voice soft but tinged with cautious optimism.
Yunho glances down at you, his dark eyes softening. “They really do,” he agrees. “It’s amazing to see.”
You fall quiet for a moment, watching the girls as they laugh and wave from atop their colorful steeds. There’s something almost magical about the way they interact, as though they’ve been friends their entire lives. It’s a sight that fills you with a profound sense of gratitude—and perhaps a little bit of fear. What if this doesn’t last? What if something disrupts this fragile harmony?
Before you can dwell on those thoughts, Sera tugs on your sleeve. “Mommy! Can we go on the big roller coaster now? Please?”
Her eyes sparkle with pleading, and you feel a pang of reluctance. The ride looks intense, even for adults. But before you can answer, Yunho interjects.
“I’ll take them,” he says decisively, his voice brooking no argument. “You stay here, relax for a bit. I’ve got this.”
You open your mouth to protest, but he cuts you off with a gentle touch to your cheek. “Trust me,” he murmurs, his gaze steady and reassuring. “We’ll be fine.”
Reluctantly, you nod, watching as he takes Sera’s hand and leads both girls toward the towering structure. The line is long, snaking around the perimeter of the ride, but Sera chatters away nonstop, clearly unbothered by the wait. Yunhee, on the other hand, looks up at the coaster with a mix of awe and trepidation.
You find a bench near the entrance and sit down, trying to calm your racing thoughts. The sun beats down on your shoulders, warming you despite the anxiety knotting your stomach. You glance at your phone, scrolling through messages that can’t hold your attention. All you can think about is the three people currently braving the roller coaster without you.
Minutes tick by, each one dragging on longer than the last. Just as you’re about to get up and check on them, a familiar trio emerges from the crowd. Sera is beaming, announcing to anyone who will listen that she wants to go again. Yunhee, however, looks pale and shaken.
Yunho spots you immediately, his expression shifting to one of concern as he approaches.
“Yunhee didn’t enjoy it as much as Sera did,” he admits, his voice low and apologetic. “She’s feeling a bit queasy.”
You rise from the bench, brushing past him to kneel in front of Yunhee.
“Hey, sweetheart,” you say softly, reaching out to gently smooth her hair. “Are you okay? Do you need some water or maybe a break?”
Yunhee nods silently, her large eyes glassy with unshed tears. You exchange a worried glance with Yunho, knowing this wasn’t part of the plan. But plans, as you’ve learned, are often made to be broken.
“Let’s find somewhere quiet for her to rest,” you suggest, standing up and offering your hand to Yunhee. “We can still have fun, just at a slower pace.”
Yunho hesitates, glancing back at Sera, who is already scanning the area for the next attraction.
“Give us a minute,” he tells you, crouching down to speak directly to Yunhee. “Do you want to tell Sera why you don’t feel well? She should hear it from you.”
Yunhee hesitates, then nods slowly. Taking a deep breath, she turns to Sera, who is waiting eagerly for her response. “I… I don’t feel so good right now,” she says softly. “Can we take a break?”
Sera’s face falls, but she nods understandingly. “Of course! We can still play games or something, right?”
Yunhee manages a small smile, and you feel a rush of relief. It’s a small victory, but it’s enough to remind you that not every moment needs to be perfect. Sometimes, it’s the unexpected challenges that bring you closer together.
As you lead the group toward a quieter area of the park, Yunho slips his hand into yours. His grip is firm, grounding, and you let yourself lean into the contact, finding comfort in his presence.
“We’ll figure it out,” he murmurs, his voice barely above a whisper. “One step at a time.”
You look up at him, your heart swelling with something akin to hope. Yes, you think.
One step at a time.

It's been a few months since the girls have met each other and hit it off. The four of you are at a park and the air is thick with laughter and the distant hum of music, but in this quieter corner of the park, it feels like the world has momentarily paused. Yunhee sits cross-legged on a blanket, her sketchpad open in front of her, while Sera chatters excitedly about all the cute pets she saw. Yunho stands nearby, his arms crossed, watching the girls with a soft smile. His presence is steady, grounding, as if he’s already woven himself into the fabric of your lives.
You lean back against the picnic table, letting the warmth of the day seep into your skin. Your hand brushes against Yunho’s, and you feel the familiar spark that never fails to ignite between you. His touch. It’s always been more than physical for you—a reminder of the deeper connection you’ve both been reluctant to name. But today, something feels different. Sharper. More urgent.
“We should talk,” you say softly, your voice barely audible over Sera’s animated storytelling.
Yunho turns to you, his dark eyes searching your face.
“About what?” he asks, though you can see the answer flickering in his gaze.
Us.
The word hovers unspoken, heavy with meaning. You swallow hard, suddenly unsure of how to articulate the tangle of emotions churning inside you. The fear. The hope. The inexplicable desire to let him in completely.
“The future,” you manage at last, your voice trembling slightly. “Ours.”
He doesn’t speak immediately, and for a moment, the only sound is the rustle of leaves overhead and the faint laughter of other park goers. Then, slowly, he steps closer, his hands settling on your shoulders. The warmth of his touch spreads through you, steadying you even as it sends your pulse racing.
“I’ve been thinking about that too,” he admits, his voice low and rough. “Every time I look at you, every time I see the way Sera smiles when she’s with Yunhee… or how Yunhee looks so much happier with you two around, it’s like everything I didn’t realize I wanted is right here. In front of me.”
His confession hangs in the air between you, raw and unfiltered. You meet his gaze, and for the first time, you let yourself truly see him—not just as the man you’ve been sleeping with, not just as the father of the sweet girl sitting on the blanket, but as someone who feels as deeply as you do. Someone who’s scared. Someone who’s hopeful. Someone who wants you.
“I love you,” you blurt out before you can stop yourself, the words breaking free like a dam giving way. “I know it’s fast, and I know it’s scary, but I can’t pretend anymore. Not with you.”
Yunho’s breath hitches, and for a moment, he says nothing. His hands tighten on your shoulders, his thumbs brushing lightly against your collarbone. Then, slowly, he leans down, his forehead resting against yours.
“I love you too,” he whispers, his voice choked with emotion. “More than I ever thought I could love anyone.”
The intensity of his words stirs something deep within you, something primal and undeniable. You rise to your toes, pressing your lips to his in a kiss that’s equal parts reassurance and desperation. His arms wrap around your waist, pulling you close, and you sink into the embrace, feeling the thrum of his heartbeat against your chest.
When the kiss breaks at last, Yunho rests his forehead against yours again, his breathing heavy. You stay there, wrapped up in each other, lost in the moment.
“Mommy?” Sera’s voice interrupts the moment, and you pull away quickly, flushing as you turn to see both girls staring at you with wide eyes. “What’s going on?”
“Nothing, sweetheart,” you say quickly, smoothing your hair and trying to regain some semblance of composure. “Just… grown-up stuff.”
Yunhee looks between you and her father, her expression thoughtful. “Are you guys… getting married?” she asks quietly.
The question catches you off guard, and you glance at Yunho, unsure of how to respond. He meets your gaze, his eyes filled with the same mix of uncertainty and hope that you feel.
“Maybe,” he says finally, his voice steady despite the weight of the word. “If that’s what we all want."
"Do you love my mommy?" Sera asks him earnestly.
Yunho doesn't miss a beat. "Yes," he answers, his voice filled with warmth. "Very much."
"Do you love my daddy?" Yunhee echoes, directing the same question to you.
You turn to the serious-looking little girl with eyes wide open and shining like jewels. "I do. Very, very much," you say honestly.
Yunho looks at his little girl. "What do you say, Yunhee? Are you okay with this?"
Yunhee smiles sweetly, her cheeks flushing with color. "I'm happy if you're happy, daddy. And if it makes Sera my best friend for real, that would be great."
"What do you think, Sera?" You asked your daughter.
"Yes! Yes!" Your daughter yells jumping up and down and running to hug you tightly. "Yunhee we can be sisters and best friends now!"
At your daughter's announcement, you look up into the kind eyes of Yunho, who is watching you with an amused smile. "Seems like our little ones are getting ahead of themselves," he teases. "But I'm willing to follow their lead... if that's alright with you."
You look around at the two little girls beaming with excitement and the man who is slowly carving his way into your heart and it feels like everything is exactly where it should be.
"More than okay," you murmur as you slide your hands up the length of his chest, wrap them around the back of his neck, and draw him in for another kiss. "More than I can say."
Sera’s face lights up, and she latches onto your arm. “Can we get matching dresses? And go on a honeymoon? And have a big cake with candles?”
You laugh despite the sudden tightness in your throat, reaching out to tousle her hair. “Slow down, kiddo. We haven’t even talked about any of that yet.”
But even as you say the words, you can’t help but imagine it—the four of you, laughing and arguing over wedding plans, building a life together from the ground up. The idea is both terrifying and exhilarating, a risk you’re starting to think might be worth taking.
Yunho steps closer, his hand sliding into yours. “One step at a time,” he murmurs, echoing his earlier words. “But maybe… maybe this time, we take bigger steps. Together.”
You nod, your heart swelling with the possibility of it all. Somewhere behind you, Sera is still chattering enthusiastically about flower girl dresses, while Yunhee continues to sketch quietly, her face tilted upward to catch the sunlight. It’s imperfect, messy, and real—everything a family should be.
And for the first time in a long time, you feel like maybe, just maybe, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.

— hi there! the time has finally come, and im publishing my first Yunho fic 🥹 lately, some kind of maternal instinct seems to have awakened in me, and i had to get it out somehow 😭😭 i guess im getting old. just to clarify, i haven't given birth myself or have kids, so this fic is solely written based on my imagination of what it might feel like postpartum.
love, monika. ♡
if you enjoyed this post, i'd be so grateful for a little love – a like, reblog or comment would truly make my day!
You were dozing off wrapped in Yunho’s arms, your head in the crook of his neck, his smell calming your tired body. Your eyes were heavy, and it was getting harder to fight sleep. His hand was creasing your sides softly, lulling you to sleep. Being curled up on top of your boyfriend was your favorite place on earth. There was something incredibly comforting about being wrapped up in Yunho’s arms, feeling his warmth and steady heartbeat. It's like your own little sanctuary, a safe place where you can let go of all your worries and just be present in the moment. And falling asleep like that, with the gentle rhythm of Yunho's breathing and the soft touch of his hand, felt like drifting off into a dreamland.
It was a little over a month since your life was turned upside down when your little daughter was born. In that short period, every aspect of your world had shifted, reshaped by the arrival of this tiny, precious bundle of joy. The days had blurred together in a whirlwind of feedings, diaper changes, and sleepless nights. Yet amidst the chaos, there were moments of pure magic—how your daughter's eyes would light up with wonder at the world around her, the soft coos and gurgles that melted your heart, and the overwhelming sense of love that filled every corner of your home. But alongside the joy, there were also moments of doubt and uncertainty. Yunho, however, was deeply scared and anxious about becoming a father to a daughter. The mere thought of holding the fragile little being, feeding her, or changing her, filled him with a sense of fear and hesitation. It almost seemed like he was unable, or unwilling, to form an emotional bond with the newborn. This emotional disconnect was not just limited to the baby. Ever since you gave birth, a sense of apprehension and fear had gripped him. It was as if he was afraid to hold you, to touch you, and to confront the changes that your body had undergone postpartum.
The vulnerability that came with postpartum recovery was like nothing you had ever experienced before. Your body felt foreign, every movement was accompanied by a dull ache, a reminder of the physical toll that bringing your daughter into the world had exacted. But it wasn't just the physical changes that left you feeling vulnerable—it was the emotional upheaval as well. The hormonal fluctuations, the sleep deprivation, the overwhelming responsibility of caring for a newborn—all of it combined to create a perfect storm of doubt and insecurity. In those moments of vulnerability, you had expected Yunho to be your rock, your unwavering source of support and comfort. Yet, his actions—or rather, his lack of them—left you feeling more alone than ever. His hesitation to hold your daughter, and his reluctance to look at your postpartum body, all served as a painful reminder of your perceived shortcomings as a mother and a partner. You couldn't help but wonder if Yunho found you unlovable now if the changes wrought by childbirth had somehow diminished your worth in his eyes. It was a cruel thought, born out of fear and insecurity, but it lingered nonetheless, festering like an open wound in your heart. You couldn't help but feel a sense of helplessness wash over you. The distance between you and your boyfriend felt insurmountable, a gaping chasm that threatened to swallow you whole.
That's why today's little nap meant everything to you. For the first time since the birth of Yunmi, Yunho was holding you like this, providing you with the comfort and warmth you longed for.
"Wait, did you hear that?" Yunho’s soft voice disrupted your nap. Not in your right state of mind yet, you just hummed against his neck, your eyes not opening even for a second. With a gentle hand, Yunho shifted you slightly, allowing himself to slip out from beneath your embrace. As he rose from the bed, you blinked groggily, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep that clung to your senses.
"What is it?" you murmured, your voice thick with sleep. Yunho's expression was one of quiet concern as he motioned towards the crib.
"I think she's awake," he whispered, his tone barely audible in the dimly lit room. Your exhaustion weighed heavily on every limb, making even the simplest tasks seem daunting. With a weariness that seemed to seep into your bones, you clung to the pillows, seeking refuge in their soft embrace.
"Could you get her?" you whispered, your voice barely above a hoarse murmur, as you heard the soft cry emanating from the crib. You mustered all your strength to sit up and shake off the tiredness as you looked at Yunho standing still next to the crib, almost as if he was unable to move any closer. Each cry felt like a dagger to your heart, a reminder of your inability to provide the comfort that your daughter so desperately needed.
"I think it's better if you take her," he said, his voice devoid of emotion, his gaze fixed on the wall as if unwilling to meet your eyes. The words struck you like a slap in the face, igniting a firestorm of indignation deep within your chest. Yunho's refusal to take Yunmi stirred a storm of emotions within you. Anger, frustration, hurt—all of it boiled beneath the surface, threatening to spill over at any moment. How could he still refuse to take responsibility for his own daughter? How could he stand there, staring blankly ahead, while you bore the brunt of exhaustion and fatigue?
"Yunho, how can you—" you began as you stood up from the bed, your voice trembling with emotion, but the words caught in your throat, choked off by the weight of your anger and hurt. Tears welled in your eyes, hot and stinging, as you struggled to contain the torrent of emotions threatening to overwhelm you. As you approached the crib, your hands clenched into fists at your sides, your breath coming in ragged gasps as you fought to maintain control. You leaned over the crib to take Yunmi into your arms and care for her. With a shaky breath, you turned away from Yunho, cradling your daughter close to your chest as you retreated to the living room. You weren't surprised that Yunho stayed behind in the bedroom, his presence a silent reminder of the distance that had grown between you. With a heavy heart, you settled onto the couch, cradling Yunmi in your arms as you prepared to breastfeed her. Your daughter's eyelids drooped as she nursed, the weight of exhaustion finally catching up to her. With each gentle suckle, she grew more and more drowsy, her tiny fingers curling against your skin in a gesture of contentment. As you watched her drift off to sleep, a pang of guilt tugged at your heart. You had expected Yunho to be there for you, to support you through the challenges of motherhood, yet time and time again, he had fallen short of your expectations. Yunmi finally drifted off to sleep, her tiny chest rising and falling in a steady rhythm. With a weary sigh, you leaned back against the pillows, holding your daughter close as you closed your eyes, allowing the exhaustion of the day to finally claim you.
You opened your eyes to see Yunho carefully lifting your daughter from your arms, his movements a mix of awkwardness and tenderness. Despite his initial hesitance, there was a determination in the way he cradled her against his chest as if he wanted to make up for any shortcomings. As he tiptoed back into the bedroom, you couldn't help but feel a surge of warmth in your heart. Despite the challenges you faced, seeing Yunho taking care of your daughter for what you believed was the first time, filled you with hope for the future. You listened as Yunho gently placed your daughter in her crib, his voice humming a soft lullaby as he tucked her in. Drifting back to sleep, you were roused once more by Yunho's quiet voice emanating from the bedroom.
"I have so much I want to say to you," he whispered, his voice barely above a hushed murmur. Yunho gazed down at Yunmi, her small form tucked snugly into her crib, her chest rising and falling in the steady rhythm of sleep. ''I'm so sorry for letting you, and your mommy down since day one...'' A sense of awe washed over him as he watched his daughter, the weight of his emotions threatening to overwhelm him. "You're my little starlight, and I'm sorry for not telling you sooner. Yunmi is Daddy's precious, shining light in the darkness." He reached out to gently brush a stray lock of hair from her forehead, his touch feather-light against her soft skin. "Daddy is really so sorry," he continued, his voice thick with emotion. "Sorry for all the times I've been afraid, for all the moments I've missed. I want you to know that I love you more than anything in this world, and I'll do whatever it takes to be the father you deserve." As he spoke, he felt a surge of love and determination welling up inside him, a newfound sense of purpose ignited by the presence of his daughter. In her innocent slumber, he saw the promise of a future filled with endless possibilities, a future that he vowed to protect and nurture with all his heart. "I may not have all the answers, and I will make mistakes along the way," he whispered, his voice trembling with sincerity. "But I promise to always be here for you, to love you unconditionally, and to cherish every moment we share." With a tender smile, he pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, his lips lingering against her skin for a moment longer. "I love you and Mommy so much. Sleep well, my little starlight," he whispered his voice a soft lullaby that filled the bedroom with warmth and love. "And know that Daddy will always be here, watching over you, every step of the way. From now on Daddy will do his best." As Yunho's words echoed in the quiet of the apartment, you felt a mix of emotions welling up inside you, threatening to overflow. Tears streamed down your face, unnoticed in the darkness, as a tumultuous storm of feelings raged within your heart. Anger simmered beneath the surface, directed not at Yunho, but at yourself. How could you have been so blind to his struggles, so oblivious to the pain he had been carrying? You berated yourself for not recognizing the signs sooner, for not being there for him when he needed you most. But amidst the anger, there was also a profound sense of relief—a weight lifting from your shoulders as you finally understood the depth of Yunho's feelings. For the first time since your daughter was born, you felt truly connected to him, bound together by the shared experience of parenthood and the raw vulnerability of exposing one's innermost fears. And beneath it all, there was love—a love that transcended words and actions, a love that bound you together despite the challenges you faced. Despite the tears and the turmoil, there was a sense of gratitude in knowing that you were not alone—that together, you could weather any storm that came your way.
A little while later, you heard Yunho returning to the living room, his footsteps soft against the floor. A pang of guilt tugged at your heart as you pretended to be asleep, not wanting him to know that you had overheard his heartfelt words to your daughter. You quickly wiped your tears, and kept your breathing slow and steady, willing yourself to remain still as Yunho approached the couch. Soon, his arms enveloped you in a gentle embrace, lifting you bridal-style and carrying you back to your shared bedroom. Settling you onto the bed, he tucked you in with care, ensuring you were comfortable before gently placing the duvet over you. His touch was tender, his actions speaking volumes of his love and devotion. Yunho pressed down a warm kiss to your forehead, his lips lingering for a moment against your skin.
"Y/N, I'm so sorry," he whispered, his voice trembling with emotion against your forehead. "I'm just so scared to be a father," he whispered, his voice barely audible in the stillness of the room. "Scared to hurt her, to make mistakes that she'll never forgive." You felt the weight of his fear pressing down on you, his vulnerability laying bare the depths of his insecurities. With each word, it was as if a window had been opened to his soul, revealing the raw, unfiltered truth of his innermost thoughts and feelings. "I want to be the best father I can be, but... but what if I'm not enough?" His voice cracked with the weight of his uncertainty, his words echoing in the stillness of the room. And then, you felt it—a single tear falling onto your temple, a silent testament to the depth of his pain and fear. In that moment, your heart broke for him, for the struggles he faced and the burdens he carried. "And you," Yunho continued, his voice trembling with emotion, "you've been amazing since day one. I've watched you, seen the way you care for her with such love and devotion. It's like you were born to be a mother, and... and I can't help but feel like I'm falling short." Yunho longed to be the pillar of support you needed, the rock upon which your family could lean in times of trouble. But with each passing day, the weight of his insecurities grew heavier, threatening to crush him beneath their burden. "I'm still so afraid," he admitted, his voice barely a whisper now. "Afraid of letting you down, of letting Yunmi down. But I promise, I'll keep trying. I'll do whatever it takes to be the father she deserves, even if... even if it scares me to my core." In the darkness of the bedroom, his words hung heavy in the air. "I love you so much, Y/N, and I will do better, I will be the support you need." Yunho's voice broke through the silence once again, his words filled with sincerity and remorse.
"And I love you," you finally whispered, your voice filled with tenderness and affection. With a gentle touch, you reached out to wipe away the tears that streaked Yunho's cheeks, your fingers tracing the contours of his face with utmost care.
"You've been awake the entire time?" Yunho's voice broke the silence, his words carrying a mixture of surprise and relief. A shy smile tugged at the corners of his lips, a hint of uncertainty in his gaze as he met your eyes. You returned his smile, the warmth of his presence washing over you like a gentle breeze.
"Yes," you admitted softly, your voice filled with understanding. "I heard everything." There was no judgment in your words, no recrimination for his vulnerability. Instead, there was only acceptance—a shared acknowledgment of the complexities of love and the struggles that came with it. Yunho's smile widened, a sense of gratitude shining in his eyes.
"Thank you for listening," he whispered, his lips placing yet another kiss on your forehead. "And for being here with me." You reached out to him, your hand finding his in the darkness, a silent reassurance of your love and support.
"Always," you whispered, your voice filled with unwavering devotion. "I'll always be here for you, Yunho. Through thick and thin." Yunho creased your cheek gently, his eyes never leaving yours. "And now get under the covers with me," you giggled mischievously, reaching out to pull Yunho close by his neck. With a playful tug, you caught him off guard, pulling him towards you until he landed on top of you with a soft thud. Yunho's eyes widened in surprise, a startled laugh escaping his lips as he found himself sprawled across the bed, his gaze locked with yours.
"You little trickster," he chuckled, his voice filled with amusement as he shifted to settle beside you under the covers. With a grin, you wrapped your arms around him, pulling him close until your bodies were pressed together in a warm embrace. The feel of his warmth against your skin sent a shiver of delight down your spine, a feeling of contentment settling over you like a soft blanket. "I haven't kissed you in forever," Yunho murmured, his voice laced with longing as he gazed into your eyes with a mixture of affection and desire. A soft smile tugged at the corners of your lips, your heart fluttering at the thought of his lips against yours.
"Then what are you waiting for?" you teased as you leaned in closer to him. With a tender touch, Yunho cupped your cheek, his thumb brushing lightly against your skin as he drew you closer to him. And then, with a gentle tilt of his head, his lips met yours in a sweet, lingering kiss. At that moment, as you melted into each other's embrace, time seemed to stand still. The world faded away, leaving only the two of you, lost in the warmth and intimacy of the moment. As you pulled away, breathless and flushed with emotion, you felt a sense of completeness wash over you—a reminder that no matter how long it had been since your last kiss, the love you shared was as strong and passionate as ever. A playful sparkle danced in your eyes as you posed the question, your curiosity piqued by Yunho's endearing nickname for your daughter.
"If she's your starlight, then what does it make me?" you asked, a teasing lilt to your voice as you awaited his response. Yunho's gaze softened as he looked at you, a tender smile gracing his lips.
"You," he said softly, his voice filled with warmth and affection, "you're my guiding light. The one that leads me home, no matter how lost I may feel." Your boyfriend's words washed over you like a gentle caress, filling you with a sense of warmth and love. With a smile of your own, you leaned in closer to him, your heart overflowing with love and gratitude.
"And you," you whispered, pressing a soft kiss to his lips, "you're my everything." And as you melted into each other's embrace, surrounded by the quiet intimacy of the night, you knew that no matter what the future held, as long as you had each other, you could weather any storm that came your way.
The sound of Yunmi's cries pierced through the tranquility of the night, pulling you from the depths of sleep with a jolt. You moved to rise from the bed, instinctively driven to tend to your daughter's needs. But before you could fully untangle yourself from the sheets, Yunho's firm grip on your arm halted your movements.
"I'll get her," he murmured, his voice filled with determination as he gently pulled you back towards the bed. You hesitated for a moment, torn between the instinctual urge to rush to Yunmi's side and the desire to trust Yunho to handle the situation. But as you looked into his eyes, you saw a steely resolve there—a determination to prove himself as a capable dad, despite his fears and insecurities. With a silent nod, you allowed yourself to sink back onto the bed, the warmth of Yunho's presence comforting you as you watched him rise to tend to your daughter. As he crossed the room to Yunmi's crib, you couldn't help but feel a surge of pride welling up within you—a recognition of the strength and courage it took for him to step up and take on the role of caregiver. Yunho took her in his arms, gently and tenderly, almost as if he were afraid that his touch alone might hurt her. He held Yunmi close to his chest, rocking gently from side to side, he tried to calm his daughter, yet Yunho's panic escalated as Yunmi's cries persisted, his worry evident in the trembling of his hands and the furrow of his brow.
"Is she okay?" he asked, his voice tight with anxiety.
"She's probably just hungry," you reassured him gently as you stood up for the bed, understanding the depth of his concern. But before you could offer to nurse her yourself, Yunho's response caught you off guard.
"Oh..." he trailed off, his voice filled with uncertainty. "I can't breastfeed her," he murmured, the realization dawning on him as he grappled with the limitations of his role as a father. You reached out to him, placing a comforting hand on his arm.
"It's okay, baby," you assured him softly. "There are other ways you can help soothe her. We can prepare a bottle together, or you can hold her close while I feed her. What's important is that we're both here for her." Yunho nodded, his eyes reflecting a mixture of relief and gratitude.
"Thank you," Yunho whispered, his voice filled with emotion as he passed Yunmi gently into your arms, his eyes still big with worry. "Should I prepare a bottle for her?" You smiled softly at his eagerness to help, appreciating his willingness to step up despite his initial panic.
"I think I'll just breastfeed her for now," you replied, your voice gentle and reassuring. "But thank you for offering." Yunho nodded, a sense of relief washing over him as he watched you cradle Yunmi close, the familiarity of the bond between mother and daughter bringing him a sense of comfort. As you settled into the comfortable position, you nursed Yunmi, Yunho remained by your side, offering silent support and encouragement. As you nursed Yunmi, the gentle rhythm of her feeding lulled both her and Yunho into a peaceful slumber. The soft sounds of her contented suckling mixed with the steady beat of their breathing, creating a tranquil symphony that filled the room. With Yunmi cradled in your arms and Yunho nestled close beside you, you felt a profound sense of contentment wash over you. The warmth of their bodies against yours, the softness of their breath against your skin—it was a moment of pure serenity, a snapshot of the quiet joy that parenthood brought. You allowed yourself to bask in the tranquility of the moment, relishing the feeling of being surrounded by the ones you loved most in the world. In the soft glow of the morning light, you watched over them with a heart full of love, knowing that in this simple embrace, you had everything you ever needed.
"Be patient with him. He's trying," you whispered to your daughter, the words soft and tender as you gazed down at her sleeping form.

Wants to do every social media pregnancy trend with you
*buys your unborn child soccer cleats*

as you sit up in bed, you throw the duvet off of your body. you felt like you were melting and the growing human inside of you wasn’t making your state any better, the kicks growing more and more painful by the minute.
you tapped your phone, the screen lighting up immediately as the time read, ‘2:34’. you sighed, running a hand down your face, growing irritated at the restlessness that you felt.
after giving up on trying to sleep all together, you ventured to the room next to yours.
it was your husband’s home studio, to which he sat in at that very moment, one side of his headphones hanging off of his ear.
he hadn’t noticed you until your arms wrapped around him, resting your head on his shoulder.
he jumped slightly, removing the headphones, “babe? what are you doing awake?”
you moved your arms from around him, standing next to him as a hand came to rest on your growing belly.
“your baby’s like a champion soccer player in here.. also, the room is warmer than usual tonight.” you chuckled.
he smiled slightly, his eyes coming to meet your stomach. he placed his hand next to yours, feeling the constant thump.
“sunshine… are you hurting mama?” he asked in a soothing voice, the baby kicking in response. hongjoong chuckled, rubbing where his hand rested.
“careful with her, okay? she needs some sleep. and so do you.”
with that, he closed the notebook that he had been scribbling in before, placing his headphones elsewhere. he turned off the lights in the studio before leading you back to your room.
you both took your spots on the mattress, cuddling in close. hongjoong’s hand came to your belly once more, continuing to rub it gently. soon enough, the kicking had ceased and your eyes had fluttered shut.
joong smiled, kissing the top of your head.
“love you so much, pumpkin.”
໒˚⋆ 𝓅𝐬𝐡.
the floorboards creaked beneath your feet as you entered your kitchen, flicking the overhead light on. you sighed, the cool air giving you some relief from the warm air you felt in the bedroom.
you pulled the fridge open gently, not wanting anything to fall over. the only thing that seemed appetizing to you was the last bit of leftovers that you and hwa had from the other day. you grabbed it from the top shelf, taking it over to the oven to heat it up.
as you transferred your meal into an oven safe pan, you heard soft footsteps behind you, causing a smile to appear on your face.
a pair of warm arms wrapped around you, larger hands resting on your baby bump.
“what are you doing up so late?” seonghwa mumbled into your neck, voice low and raspy as his eyes remained closed.
“come back to bed, love..”
“your daughters’ up, so i’m up.” you chuckled, making him hum in response as he placed small kisses in the crook of your neck.
“she’s always up.. how do you sleep at night?” he asked, letting out a laugh.
“i don’t.” you shrugged.
he giggled once more, watching you prepare your meal.
“do you want me to help with that? i’ll put on our favorite romcom.”
you smiled, nodding, “yeah, but i wanna get my food first.”
“of course, baby.”
໒˚⋆ 𝒿𝐲𝐡.
the light from the tv brightened up your bedroom as you sat against the headboard, watching one of your favorite shows.
the bathroom door opened and your husband walked out, hair springing in random directions. his gaze turned to you, seeing you wide awake and not an ounce of tiredness in your eyes.
“honey?” he looked between you and the television for a moment.
“what’re you doing up? thought you were asleep..” he walked over to the bed, settling back in his spot and pulling the comforter over his legs.
you shook your head, “no, i’ve been awake for a few hours now. can’t sleep.”
yunho slid down in the bed so that he was lying on your belly. your bundle of joy seemed to know he was there, as you felt two kicks right where your husband had laid his head.
he giggled, placing a kiss on your belly.
“hi, baby,” he mumbled against it, placing another.
your baby kicked and kicked, getting excited at the sound of yunho’s voice. you smiled but winced at the force of the kicks.
“whoa, whoa, okay.” he rubbed where the kicks were, not wanting them to cause any more pain.
“you’re too excited, love bug. it’s very late.” he spoke to your baby quietly, trying to calm them down. and it seemed to work in a way, as you felt your baby move around a bit but eventually settle down.
“why don’t you try getting some sleep, baby? i know how tired you’ve been.” he looked up at you, smiling softly.
“but i can’t.” you pouted.
“how about i sing to you then, hm? would you like that?” he asked, continuing the gentle rubs on your belly.
you nodded, reaching down to play with his hair as you closed your eyes, waiting to hear his voice.
໒˚⋆ 𝓀𝐲𝐬. (i swear these are just yeo’s initals)
you sat in the nursery that everyone had helped make for the baby on the way, refolding clothes and reorganizing. you tried not to be loud, seeing as it was nearly 2am.
you had crept out of bed about 30 minutes before, your thoughts not letting you get a wink of sleep. you’d been so caught up in your thoughts, worried that you wouldn’t be the parent that you wanted to be when your baby arrived. you and yeosang were first time parents so you didn’t wanna mess things up.
as you sat on the floor, the door to the baby’s room had opened slightly, your husband peeking in to see you sitting down.
“babe?” he called softly.
you turned around quickly, not expecting him to be awake.
“yeo.. what’re you doing awake?” you asked. you could tell that he had just woken up, as he squinted his eyes, trying to adjust them to the dim light in the room.
“i should be asking you that.” he chuckled, entering the room and leaving the door cracked.
he took a seat next to you on the carpet, looking down at the pile of clothes you had folded.
“you bored or something?”
“no,” you laughed. “i just..”
he looked over at you now, letting you know that he was listening.
“i just don’t wanna mess things up, yeo.”
“what do you mean?”
you sighed, “i mean we’re first time parents. i just wanna make sure i’m doing what’s right for our baby.”
“honey,” he started, smiling, “yes this is our first time. so you know we’re bound to make mistakes, right? not everything will be perfect.”
you nodded in agreement, knowing he was right but you couldn’t help your overthinking.
“we’re a team, okay? you aren’t doing this alone, i’ll be with you.”
you didn’t respond to him verbally but just hugged him instead, silently thanking him. he held onto you tightly, rubbing your back and reminding you that everything would be fine.

Tea Party
Tumblr media
Pairing: Idol dad Jeong Yunho x pregnant fem named reader x Yuna (their kid) x brief aparition of Wooyoung and San.
Genre: too much fluff (I have a baby fever 😭)
Summary: Their princess need to have her tea party at all coast.
Word count: 2.2k
Yuna, their sunshine, had been over the moon about the promise of a tea party.
“With tiaras and cakes and tea! Don’t forget, Mommy!” She chirped just the day before, her little hands clutching her tyudeongi plushie.
But today had spiraled out of control, Yunho looked at the clock and winced.
Minseo had back-to-back with work, and he had a last-minute meetings too.
Both parents promised Yuna they’d make a tea party, but the day slipped away in a flurry of responsibilities.
Realizing they wouldn’t even make it in time to pick up Yuna from daycare, Yunho called Wooyoung and San for help.
“Sure, Yunho." San said at the phone. “We’ll grab her and hang out until you guys are done.”
When they arrived at the daycare, Yuna greeted them with her usual enthusiasm. “Uncles! Did you come to play tea party with me?”
Wooyoung laughed, picking her up. “Of course! But only if we get to wear tiaras."
☆☆☆☆☆
Later that evening, Yunho’s phone buzzed with a message from San.
"She’s been talking nonstop about her tea party. She even told that Wooyoung and I are invited."
Yunho froze. He’d forgotten all about it. He glanced at Minseo, guilt already pooling in his chest. “OMG baby… the tea party. Yuna’s expecting it tonight.”
Minseo’s face fell. “Oh no. I completely forgot. How could we forget?”
“Maybe we can reschedule? She’s little—she won’t remember if we miss this one.” Yunho tried to came with a solution, but Minseo shook her head firmly.
“No, Yunho. We promised her. I can’t stand the thought of her feeling like we don’t care.”
He nodded, determination sparking in his eyes. “Then let’s fix this. We’ll make a tea party tonight.”
☆☆☆☆☆
When they arrived home, Yunho and Minseo were greeted by a sight that melted their guilt. There was Yuna, perched at her tiny pink table, a tiara sparkling on her head. Stuffed animals lined the table as her "guests," and there were plastic cups filled with imaginary tea.
Wooyoung and San sat on miniature chairs, looking utterly ridiculous. Both wore tiaras, their expressions a mix of happiness for their niece and mild discomfort for the uncomfortable little chairs.
“Daddy! Mommy! You’re here!” Yuna’s eyes lit up as she spotted them.
“Of course, Princess. We wouldn’t miss this party." Yunho said, his voice warm as he crouched to her level.
Wooyoung smirked. “See? She’s fine. You two worried too much.”
Minseo’s heart clenched as Yuna grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the table.
“Mommy, sit here! Daddy, you too next to Mommy! Uncle Woo and Uncle Sannie were helping me, but now you can take over!”
Wooyoung stood, stretching dramatically. “Thanks, my back’s going to snap in half sitting on that thing.”
“I think we make excellent stand-in royalty." San adjust her tiara.
Minseo gave them a grateful smile. “Thank you for being here for her.”
Wooyoung stood, cracking his back. “No problem, but these chairs were definitely not made for adults. We’ll leave you to it.”
☆☆☆☆☆
Yuna placed a tiara on Yunho’s head. “Now you’re King Daddy!”
“King Daddy? I like the sound of that." Yunho said with a playful grin, sitting at the tiny table and pretending to adjust the tiara. “Alright, your highness, can you pour me some tea, please?” Yuna pour some 'tea' in his dad's cup.
Yunho lifted the plastic cup, pinky raised. “Mmm, exquisite. The best tea I’ve ever had." He declared.
Yuna giggled, clapping her hands. “You’re a great guest, Daddy!”
Minseo couldn’t help but laugh. “Yunho, you’re ridiculous. But I love it.”
He shot her a wink, his eyes twinkling with affection. “Anything for my little princess.”
As Yuna served tea to her stuffed animals guests, Minseo leaned closer to Yunho. Her voice dropped to a whisper. “I don’t want her to stop smiling like this when the baby comes. It’s my biggest fear.”
“Our Yuna is special. She’s full of love—she’ll be an amazing big sister. But I promise, we’ll do whatever it takes to make sure she never feels less loved.” Yunho reached his hand on her belly, softly caressing.
Minseo’s eyes glistened with emotion. “You mean it?”
“Of course. We’re in this together, Minseo.”
Yuna interrupted their moment by holding out her teapot. “Daddy, more tea!”
“Thank you, Princess!” Yunho said, grinning as he extended his cup.
☆☆☆☆☆
After the tea party ended, Yuna yawned, rubbing her eyes. Yunho scooped her up, her tiny arms wrapping around his neck.
“It's bedtime, Princess." He said softly.
“But Daddy, I don’t want the tea party to end.” She murmured, her voice sleepy.
“It’s okay." Yunho whispered. “We’ll have more tea parties. As many as you want.”
Together, they tucked Yuna into bed, her tiara placed carefully on the nightstand. As they watched her drift off to sleep, Yunho wrapped an arm around Minseo.
“She’s going to be the best big sister." Minseo said, her voice filled with quiet emotion.
“She already is.” Yunho replied. “And we’ll make sure she always knows how much she means to us.”
That night, Minseo struggled to fall asleep. She lay beside Yunho, her thoughts swirling. The image of Yuna laughing with her tiara tilted slightly to one side kept replaying in her mind.
"You're not sleeping." Yunho mumbled, turning to face her. His voice was low and thick with sleep.
Minseo sighed. "I keep thinking about today. We almost forgot, Yunho. What if there’s a day when we’re too busy, and we actually do forget? She’s so little, and I don’t want her to ever feel like she doesn’t matter to us."
Yunho reached out, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. "Darling, stop torturing yourself. We didn’t forget in the end, did we? We were there, and she was happy."
“But for how long?” She whispered. “With the baby coming, things are going to change, and I’m scared she’ll feel left out.”
Yunho sighed, shifting closer to her. “I get it. I’ve been thinking about it too. But you know what? Yuna’s got a huge heart. And we’ll make sure she feels just as loved as she does now. The baby’s not going to take anything away from her, it’s going to add more love to this family.”
Minseo pressed her forehead against his chest. “You make it sound so easy.”
“We’re a team and we’ll figure it out, just like we always do.” Yunho stroked her hair softly.
Her heart softened at his words, and she let out a small laugh. “How do you always know what to say?”
“It’s a talent of mine.” Yunho joked, his lips curving into a soft smile.
☆☆☆☆☆
That weekend
The morning sunlight spilled through the curtains as Yunho quietly slipped into Yuna’s room. She was sprawled across her small bed, her tyudeongi plushie under one arm.
He smiled to himself, marveling at how his little girl could look so peaceful yet so full of energy even while asleep.
“Princess.” He whispered gently, kneeling by her bed. “Time to wake up. We’ve got a special day planned.”
Yuna stirred, her eyes fluttering open. A sleepy smile spread across her face as she recognized her dad. “Daddy?” She murmured, her voice soft and groggy.
“Yes princess.” Yunho said, scooping her into his arms and spinning her around lightly. She squealed in delight, her sleepy haze replaced with bubbling excitement. “We’re going on a daddy-daughter adventure!”
“What kind of adventure?” She asked, her tiny hands clutching his shirt.
“It’s a surprise baby.” He replied with a wink helping her get put of bed.
After breakfast, Yunho dressed Yuna in her favorite pastel pink dress, the one with sparkly tulle that flared out like a princess gown. He added her tiara, adjusting it carefully. “Perfect, you look like the most beautiful princess in the kingdom.”
Yuna twirled in front of the mirror, giggling. “Do I, Daddy?”
“The most beautiful.” Yunho assured her, placing a soft kiss on her forehead.
The two headed out, Yuna skipping beside Yunho as he held her small hand in his. They arrived at a quaint little café tucked away in the corner of the city. It was decorated in whimsical shades of pink and gold, with shelves lined with porcelain teapots and dainty teacups.
“Whoa.” Yuna breathed, her eyes wide as she took in the magical setting. “It’s like a castle!”
“Only the best for my princess." Yunho said with a grin, opening the door for her.
Inside, they were greeted by a kind woman wearing a floral apron.
“Welcome! Let me guess—you’re here for our special tea party experience?”
Yuna nodded enthusiastically, clutching Yunho’s hand. “Yes! Daddy said we’re having a royal adventure!”
The woman chuckled. “Right this way, your highness.”
They were seated at a small round table covered with a lace tablecloth. Yuna’s chair was adorned with a cushion embroidered with golden crowns, and Yunho had to duck slightly to fit into his chair.
The woman brought out a child-sized tea set in soft pink with golden rims. Yuna gasped, her hands clasped over her mouth. “It’s so pretty!”
“Would you like to pick a tea flavor for you and your dad, your highness?” the woman asked.
Yuna nodded and pointed at a small jar labeled “Strawberry Cream.” The woman pretended to pour tea into their cups, though the “tea” for Yuna was actually warm milk with a touch of strawberry syrup.
She raised her tiny cup with both hands, her pinky sticking out as she’d seen in her cartoons. “Cheers, Daddy!”
Yunho mirrored her actions, raising his own cup. “Cheers, Princess.” He took a sip and made an exaggerated face of delight. “Mmm, delicious. The finest tea in all the land.”
Yuna giggled uncontrollably, her cheeks turning rosy. “You’re funny, Daddy.”
For the next hour, they laughed, shared pretend tea, and even decorated cookies with pink icing and edible glitter.
Yunho helped Yuna carefully pipe hearts and stars onto her cookies, though most of the icing ended up on her fingers—or his.
At one point, Yuna leaned against him, her small hand resting on his arm.
“I love you, Daddy.” She said softly, her eyes sparkling.
Yunho’s chest tightened, and he wrapped an arm around her. “I love you too, Yuna. More than anything.”
On their way home, Yuna clutched a small box with the leftover cookies they had made together. Her tiara sat slightly crooked on her head, but she didn’t seem to care.
“Mommy’s going to love these cookies,” Yuna said, her voice full of pride.
“She will.” Yunho agreed, glancing down at her with a smile. “And you can tell her all about our royal adventure.”
The front door creaked open, and Yuna dashed inside, her tiny footsteps echoing through the hallway.
“Mommy! Mommy! Guess what Daddy and I did!” She called out excitedly.
Minseo, who was sitting on the couch smiled as her daughter appeared in the doorway, her tiara slightly askew and her cheeks flushed from the excitement.
“What did you do, my little princess?” She asked, setting down her book and opening her arms.
Yuna bounded over, climbing carefully onto her mom's lap with her small box of cookies clutched tightly in her hands.
“Daddy took me to a special café! It was so pretty, Mommy! Everything was pink and gold, and there were teapots and cups, and we drank tea, and Daddy said it was the best tea in the whole kingdom!”
Minseo’s eyes softened as she listened, gently brushing a strand of Yuna’s hair back into place. “That sounds magical, sweetheart. Did you have fun?”
Yuna nodded vigorously, opening the box to reveal their carefully decorated cookies. “Look! We made these for you! I made the pink heart, and Daddy made the one with the messy star.”
Minseo chuckled, casting a teasing glance at Yunho, who was watching the scene with a warm smile.
“You must have been the expert decorator, Yuna. These look amazing.”
“Daddy was really funny too!” Yuna continued, her words tumbling out in a rush.“It was the best day ever, Mommy!”
“Well, I’m so glad you had fun, my love,” Minseo said, kissing her daughter's forehead. “Now, why don’t you go put your cookies in the kitchen and play in your room for a bit while I talk to Daddy?”
“Okay, Mommy!” Yuna slid off Minseo’s lap, her tiara slipping down to her forehead. She giggled as she adjusted it and ran off toward the kitchen, humming a tune to herself.
Once Yuna was out of earshot, Minseo turned to Yunho, her smile softening into something more reflective.
“You made her day, Yunho. Thank you for taking the time with her. I can see how much it meant to her.”
Yunho walked over to the couch, sitting down beside her and taking her hand in his.
“I just wanted her to feel special, I don’t ever want her to feel like she’s being left behind.”
Minseo’s gaze dropped to their joined hands. “I worry about the whole baby thing too." Yunho gently squeezed her hand.
“She’s going to be okay. You saw her today—she’s happy, confident, and so full of love. We’ve given her a home where she feels safe and cherished and the baby won’t change that. If anything, it’ll just give her someone else to love.”
Minseo looked up, her eyes glistening. “You always know what to say.”
Yunho chuckled softly, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and pulling her closer, pressing a kiss to the top of her head.

𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒌 𝑺𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒘𝒉𝒂 - ( wc : 853 )
“Okay, it’s cake time !” You said, clapping your hands with impatience. You had made small cupcakes for your baby’s first birthday, which came way too fast, if you were asked. Time was running, but your baby was running faster for a few weeks now. You just spent the day with your family, had a real good time at the beach. You took a bunch of cute pictures to send to all the uncles and family. Seonghwa was the best playtime partner, since your son seemed to be insatiable about playing today. Balls, toys, cubes, and everything. He wanted to have the best time of his life. This day was a core memory. You came home at dinner time, to celebrate with a little fancy dinner yall could share. The little one had a good time, but now it was time for him to blow out his first candle. You light it in the kitchen, while Seonghwa keeps your son busy. You finally come back, starting to sing the usual traditional "Happy Birthday." Your partner joins you to sing with you, as you advance the cake at the boy’s height. But his reaction makes you smile. "He’s fascinated." You point out to the dad. "Do you think he’ll want to blow on the flame? Is he scared?" You could feel in Hwa’s voice that he was starting to panic a little bit. What a hands-on dad he was. “Breathe honey, he’s just looking at it waving.” You try to reassure your lover. “You’re gonna burn yourself, honey.” You nod your head negatively before turning to the baby. "Are you blowing on it, angel?" You’re showing him how to do it, without extinguishing the flame, but he’s completely fixated on the movements she draws. “Come on, sweetheart, you can blow on it. We’ll help you if you want." Keep encouraging Seonghwa. Suddenly the child started to laugh as he looked at the flame. You and Seonghwa exchanged a puzzled but amused look. What could have made him laugh like that? Finally, before the wax from the candle runs over the cake you blow on the candle, while your companion puts a kiss on the top of the skull of your little boy. “Happy birthday, angel." He said. You put the cake on the baby’s high chair after removing the candle. He immediately put his tiny hand on the cream at the top of the cake to put some in his mouth, but ended up putting food all over his face, which made him laugh so much. He was such a happy baby, you couldn't help but feel so much love and tender to that little person.
Later on, after a good cleaning session, you three were seated on the giant bed you and your husband were sharing. Unwrapping presents before bedtime. “Okay buddy, here’s the last one. And Dad chose it, very specially for you.” Said your partner by your side. The box wasn’t that big, but it made a lot of noise if you shake it. “ Oh ! What could it be, Bubba ? Open it !” You tear a small part of the paper, so that it can reach and pull on the paper in turn. Her tiny, poteled hand closes around the paper and you come to help her remove the wrapping piece by piece. "Oh! Look, honey, Lego!" You threw, surprise. You didn’t know he was going to give her this. But in the end, you could almost have guessed it. It was not as if your companion’s desk was filled with little figurines, raised of course since the baby was born. “It’s giant Legos ! That way, we can both make small constructions!" Seonghwa says with a little too much excitement in her voice. " Your first Lego! You’re going to have so much fun with Dad, angel." The toddler babbles between your arms, before crawling gently towards his father, not caring about the game box that was in front of him. Would you like to go and try them now?" he asks, catching the little one up against him. You realize at the same time how much they are alike, both of them. You had given birth to your husband’s perfect copy. It was just as well that he became a fan of construction as his father and now you will have the impression of having given him a tiny version of himself. The boy’s head is resting against his dad’s chest, yawning with his mouth open. "I guess that’s a very honest way to say no. You’re right, it’s tiring to be a year old." You both left the bed to hug him very tightly and say a few times how much he was loved and cherished. You put him in his bed, when his eyes were closed and took the time to admire the little perfect man you made, pressed against Hwa’s body. “You’re the best dad in the whole world for our little boy.” You whispered. He kisses the top of your head, tightening his embrace. "I would be nothing without him, and even less without you. You are my world.”
𝑲𝒊𝒎 𝑯𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒋𝒐𝒐𝒏𝒈 - (wc : 575)
“You definitely should be asleep now” You begged your little boy that would not go to sleep tonight. You tried everything, feed him, change him, rock him, sing him lullabies. The poor boy was constantly showing his dissatisfaction with tears and cries. His bad mood was not of tonight. It must have been because his morning nap made him angry. Or was it the teeth that were hurting? Your baby was babbling and leaving traces of it on the way. Whatever his grumpy mood, you didn’t really know what to do. Especially since you still had so much to prepare. Tomorrow you will go to the Hongjoong family for your first baby’s birthday. You couldn’t even delegate, since your partner was still in the studio. "I beg of you." you sighed at the little human who lay between your arms. Even the carrying did not work, although he loved to rest against your heart.
"It’s your birthday that makes you sad? It’s your poor mother who should be sad that you’re growing up so fast!" You say, watching him without understanding why he was so upset. "What should I say then?" You hear the voice of your companion rising in the living room, making you jump. With the baby crying you didn’t even hear him come in. "Well, that’s a hell of a chagrin!" he said, approaching you. He puts a kiss on your lips, and a hand on yours against your son. I don’t know how to calm him down, he refuses to fall asleep, nothing works." You’re groaning and resting your head on his shoulder. “Okay, would you let me try?”You nod and let him try to put the baby carrier, before handing him the little sobbing boy. As soon as he was perfectly installed in the fabric, your son instantly stopped crying. “You just wanted your dad…” Your mother’s heart is tinged with a sweet emotion, while an ounce of relief creeps into your mind. The little boy’s sobs cease and he slowly puts his head against his father’s chest. “Little daddy’s boy.” Your partner says, while wrapping his arms around you, your baby was surrounded by the two of you, now. but his big round eyes were darted on the face of him, whom he looked so alike. Hongjoong was the only one who could put him asleep when he was just a newborn. As he grew up things changed, but on the eve of his first birthday, we must believe that he needed nothing more than to feel his dad. “As in his first days.” You commented. “I can’t believe he’s turning one tomorrow.” Life has been crazy, lately. “The best year of our life, baby.” he says, making you smile. “It was. We’re lucky.” You add, before coming to drop a kiss on the top of the skull of your still well awake baby. “Appa!” Said the little boy, making you both surprised. He never said a complete word before, only baby mumblings until tonight. “Did you say Appa ? Can you say it again ?” Hongjoong asks to his son. And the baby did. Appa ! You couldn’t help but feel so proud of your son, even though he definitely was his father’s son. “Your first word on your birthday ! I’m so proud of you buddy.” You say to the baby. “And I’m proud of us, honey.” Add Joong to your hear. You definitely wouldn’t have it any other way.
𝑱𝒆𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒀𝒖𝒏𝒉𝒐 - (wc : 970)
“How’s my little pumpkin this morning ?” You say, while taking your baby by your side on the bed. Covering both your bodies, while nursing her for the first time of the day. You took the time to picture her small little face against your skin. You didn’t realize she was already one. She was the perfect little cutie. Since birth she slept nearly through the whole night, only waking up a few times to be fed and changed. She used to sleep between you and Yunho, who loved having his daughter by his side. At one point, he was the one who refused that she goes into a big girl bed next to yoursYou understood real fast that he was way more anxious than you were about the baby's safety. He took her everywhere he could and when he couldn't, he rushed back home as soon as possible. It was really important for him to be able to feel her and to build a strong connection with his daughter. He helped her to learn everyday, and she's the best learner ever. You were both so proud of her.
You caress her little cheek, You love those little times, when your bodies are pressed against each other, her little hand caressing your skin. It was a privileged time with her, and you cherished every little part of it, even the hardest ones. Suddenly, the buzzing sound of your phone, took you out of your admiration. It was Yunho facetiming you. “Hi, handsome.” You say, answering the call “Hi, pretty ! Wanted to see if you were okay.” He says, all smiley through the screen. The phone is tilted to allow him to admire the two women in his life. “We're all good. Pumpkin was very hungry this morning.” You said, feeling her moving against you, so her eyes could reach her dad through the phone. She quickly comes off to stand up against you, while you lift the fabric of your top. “-ppa !” squealing the little girl and waving her tiny hand, as if to grab the phone. “Yes it's Appa, honey.” You confirm, surrounding her little body with an arm. “Happy Birthday, princess !” he says. The baby started clapping happily in her hands. “When are you coming home ?” You ask since you wanted to spend that special day with your husband too. “We're at the airport! I'll be here in a few hours !” He made sure everything was right to be here right on time. “My case is full of sweet presents for our little pumpkin.” He was way too joyful. You were pretty sure that there was a present for him in this suitcase, such as a new game or new devices for his setup. “Our angel will be so spoiled ! Have a safe flight, sweet. Love you !” You say, before leaning to your baby and whisper in her ear. “Send a kiss to Appa, Pumpkin” Automatically the baby stas sending kisses to the phone, melting your heart seeing how cute she was. “Can't wait to be with you. Love you too, my dear.” The call ended and you grab your baby to take your breakfast and start the day.
The sweet little girl has been a pure angel for the whole morning. She refused to take a nap but wanted to play all the time. For a few times, she tried to take her first steps, but ended up failing and falling back on her tiny butt. The last time she fell, she left her sweet teary eyes at you. “Oh no, baby, it's okay, don't be sad. You'll get it !” You hand her another block to distract her little mind from the failure. Soon you heard the door opening and you immediately lifted your head to catch Yunho's gaze as he entered the room, fully packed. “Here's my little family !” He says, the cutest smile on his face. He let down his bags just so he could rush to kiss you. “I hate being far away from you.” He whispers after kissing you. It was only two days but you missed him so much. “ Come here little Pumpkin.” Yunho says, rushing to his now one year old. “You've grown so much, in just two days !!” You couldn't help but smile. The baby laughed at all the kisses he left on her soft skin as if it tickled her. He put her back on the mattress, to go and grab a little package from his suitcase. “Hey. We said we would give her presents at the party.” You complain. You wanted to give her all of her beautiful new toys. But your husband had another idea. He sat on the mattress next to you. Your daughter was standing, playing with her cubes on the bench and she turned her head to her dad with the biggest smile. She reached out her little hand to her father, who urged her to join him. For a few seconds, the toddler looked for balance before she did it. One foot after the other, she took her first step before your perfectly amazed eyes. She lost balance in her father's arms who looked at her with so much pride. You couldn't hold back the little tear of pride. “You did it, Pumpkin! Just like the little champ you are.” He greeted her. You clapped your hands to congratulate her and she joined you, with all her joyful heart. “I'm so proud of you ! That's a big step, just on your birthday !” How amazing that was. “ She was trying for a few days, but kept falling in the end.” You informed your husband. “She waited for us to be reunited. Now she's going to run everywhere.” He says, wishing you both good luck. But you knew he couldn't wait to chase after his daughter.
𝑲𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝒀𝒆𝒐𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒈 - (wc : 869)
It was the most perfect day ever. You had the best party at home for your son’s first birthday. Everyone was there, the boys even wore their alter-ego costumes for the birthday boy’s delight. He couldn’t help but giggle all day long, watching his dad and uncles playing cute. You had to admit it was quite fun to see them play. When the little party ended, you three met again to blow out the candles one last time. It was a great emotion to see that your baby was already growing so fast. Yeosang had also had bright eyes all day, he shared your emotion. You had tried for a long time to have that little piece of you, that today you cherished the least of the moments by his side. Now you were gently playing on the playmat, when you saw the baby yawning vividly. “That big day was exhausting, right ?” You say to the sweet and discreet boy, crawling to his dad, who catches him real fast, to hug him tight. “We should go to bed, buddy.” Yeosang says, patting his son’s hair, which was so endearing. “One last pic, first !” You say, while grabbing your polaroid camera, that followed you through your pregnancy and the first year of your dear boy. The flash of the camera blinds you for a few seconds, before printing the image. “Who do you want to go to bed with, baby ?” You ask the little one. He clenches himself even more against his father, showing how much he wished that it was him who accompanied him to the arms of Morpheus. “Seems like it'll be me for today.” Says your partner. “Imma sing him to sleep, I'll be back in a bit.” A wave of kisses to your husband and your son and a hug later, he disappeared in the baby's room.
You could hear him sing from the living room, where you were still seated. He used to sing lullabies to the baby when he was in the womb. He did it for the whole nine months of your pregnancy and now he practically was the only one who was able to put him to sleep. His voice was soothing the baby the way nothing or nobody does. It was pure magic.
You take a look at the Polaroïds you took earlier, and it was the most heartwarming thing you've ever seen. The three of you were all smiley and purely happy. Compared to the first pic you took as a family, your boy looked so grown up. You grab the white box that was hidden under the couch. In there, there was every little memory of that first year. Your pregnancy test, your first ultrasound, the bracelet the baby wore in the hospital. There also was the little thing that announced his name and his birthday. His first beanie, his first socks, his tiny handprint, but most of all, every picture you took, through this whole year. “Darling ?” Yeosang says, through the room. “Are you okay ?” There's no doubt, he got all your emotions. He knew you so well. “Y-Yes ! I was going down memory lane. All of this feels like it was yesterday.” You say, emotions tangling your voice. “I know. But this one, this is my favorite memory.” He pointed to the polaroid Yunho took the day before you gave birth to your treasure. Yeo was holding you so close, his hands resting on your baby's home, there was sunset behind you. It was an amazing picture. “I remember that night, everything went so amazingly, and everything that happened next, made me love you even more” Your heart bursted so fast, as he said those words. “I love our family so much.” You say, resting your head on his shoulder, and taking the first sleepers your baby wore in the hospital. “Do you remember when he was so tiny ? You could fit his two little feet in your hand !” An emotive smile took place in your face. “Yeah. He was so small I was afraid to break him.” He confesses, wrapping an arm around you. “We should write him a note, for when we’ll give him this box.” He suggests and you nod real fast, you take a paper and a pen. “Wanna go first ?” You ask by handing her the pen. "We should both do that instead. You write?" You nod and both of you start thinking about what to write. Finally the word is written by itself and you come out, your heart swollen with tenderness. Everything was perfect.
To our treasure.
You who were so expected and we loved from the first seconds. You are the most beautiful thing that ever happened to us. You are loved, pampered and protected from the first day to the last. ATEEZ SMALL PERFUME REVIEW: CREED — AVENTUS
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
disclaimer: this is not meant to be a serious perfume review, this is something fun for me to do as I love perfume. each and every one of us have different tastes and preferences when it comes to fragrances. what works for me might not work for you, vice versa. I’ll try my best to describe the scents but I will always suggest for you to go and smell them yourself before purchase. if you want to try these perfumes, please test or get a sample before committing to the bottle. picture credits to all owners.
ateez member: hongjoong
fragrance family: fruity chypre
notes:
top — lemon, pink pepper, apple, bergamot, blackcurrant
heart — pineapple, jasmine, patchouli (indonesia)
base — birch, ambroxan, cedarwood, oakmoss, musk
my scent experience:
the first notes I smelt were the base notes of birch and ambroxan. I don’t know exactly what ambroxan is but it smells like strong aftershave intensified. I do smell the fruity notes of pineapple and apple in the beginning but they fade away quickly. it dries down to this woody but weird chemically aftershave scent that is just not pleasant on the nose. the scent is on the cleaner side as well which gave me a headache later on.
it’s safe to say that I don’t like this perfume. I remember everyone in the fragrance community talk about how much they love Aventus it’s creed’s best seller but when I smelt it for the first time, I was not into it. and before anyone starts gaslighting me in the tags, just remember we all have different preferences in perfume. not to mention, I’ve tried to gaslight myself into liking this fragrance for years and I still can’t convince myself to like it.
additional notes from me:
this is in my top 5 list of red flag perfumes for men. if you wear this perfume, I will do anything to stay away from you no matter how much money you have. I’m not saying that Hongjoong is a red flag but his choices in perfume is something else. I’ve also heard stories of creed perfumes being inconsistent, some batches being good while some smelt horrible and they’re quite expensive. that is a quality control issue and hopefully they’ve resolved it because I can’t imagine spending so much on a perfume and you don’t even know if you got a decent bottle.
who would I recommend this to?
anyone who likes the smell of aftershave.
those who want to smell like a red flag but with money.
anyone who wants to try creed perfumes.
if you’ve made it to the end, thank you for reading this review! not my most positive review but I’d rather be honest with you and there will be fragrances in the market that won’t work for everyone. hopefully this doesn’t discourage you from trying it as who knows? this perfume might work for you. I still suggest for you to test it out even if others don’t like it since fragrance is so subjective. hope you enjoy reading my reviews regardless of whether it’s a positive or negative review.

SEONGHWA ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
― doctor dad
• usually his office is flooded with lovely little patients
• so he tries to pick out a less hectic day from his schedule to bring his kid with him to work
• this is because he wants to be able to look after his child well
• and at the same time get them to play and interact with his cute patients
• his kid did say "i want daddy to help me make new fwends"
• "my baby's wish, is my command" he replies
• it wasn't obvious that he was excited to bring his kid to see him work. really, no.
• it wasn't evident even when they came to the clinic with matching lab coats and stethoscopes hanging from their necks.
• his' was the real deal ofc while his child had a cute blue one with stitch on it. (if he spent a lot of money just for that, no one had to know)
• most nurses that passed by them cooed because his child looked exactly like his mini me
• seonghwa smiles so bright, heart swelling, and he holds his kid's hand even tighter, eventually swaying it until they arrive at his office
• before he gets ready for his shift, he makes sure to introduce every single thing inside the room (everything within his child's reach was kid-friendly anyway so he didn't have to worry much)
• "baby look, do you know what these are?"
• "tweddy!" his child would cutely reply, pointing at the yellow teddy bear in his dad's hands
• seonghwa would play with his kid for a while
• they made the stuffed toys their patients, he was the nurse, and his child was the doctor
• "this is a stethoscope" "stescowp!" "that's right, very good!"
• "you put this on your patient's chest, so you can hear their heartbeat." "artbeat?" his child would look up at him, confused
• seonghwa would pinch their cheeks first, unable to resist their cuteness
• then he'll begin explaining, "heartbeat is the sound your heart makes. it goes lub-dub, lub-dub"
• he matches it with comical expressions and wide gestures that it makes his kid laugh
• why are they so adorable? he'd think
• and then it'll be time for him to face his patients
• he leaves his kid at the corner to play with the toys they brought, saying he'll be back
• "promise me you'll behave? no crying?"
• "pwomise, no cwying, daddy" his kid will reply and they'll do a pinky promise
• seonghwa prepares his cute stickers and candies at the side for his patients while he waits
• he only had to do consultations and check-ups for today, he made sure of that
• in between breaks, he plays again with his kid
• and when they got slightly bored playing doctor with the stuffed toys, seonghwa will call on his nurse friend who wasn't on call
• and then he'd go back to his desk, continue charting, while his kid goes to the clinic's cafeteria for snack break
• it was seonghwa's last patient when things started to get a little rocky
• his last patient was a three year old girl who's having a check up for the first time
• she was scared and seonghwa didn't know what to do
• none of his stickers, candy, and coaxing were working successfully and that was a first time for him
• but then his kid stood up from the puzzle mat where they were playing with their toys
• his child picks up the yellow teddy bear that seonghwa gave them earlier
• they'd waddle towards the little girl
• and if it weren't for the current situation, seonghwa would've giggled because his child is adorable
• surprisingly, his kid was able to ease the girl and stop her from crying
• they would talk to the little girl while they both hold the teddy bear's hands
• seonghwa would smile and then he'll immediately check on the girl's heartbeat with his stethoscope while she's still distracted
• distracted by his child's ramblings
• it was such an adorable scene
• when it was time to go home, seonghwa gets startled when his child suddenly runs to his desk
• he watches them as they go over his sticker packs (his child was actually drawn to them since they arrived in his office)
• a particular yellow heart and a blue 'good job' sticker got his kid's attention and then they're running back to seonghwa
• the kid tugs at seonghwa's slacks, asking him to sit and seonghwa ends up crouching in front of his child
• "this one's for daddy" his kid puts the yellow heart on his dad's coat,
• and then comes the good job sticker, "because daddy helped me make a new fwend. i love daddy's job" his child would say
• "can you get me a sticker too?" "yes!"
• his kid will bring back a "great patient!" sticker without even knowing it's meaning
• he picked it because it had stitch's face on it, and stitch was their favorite cartoon character
• seonghwa would chuckle and then place the sticker on his child's coat as well
• "this one is for you because you've been so well behaved today." he'd smile and then ruffle the child's hair
• and then they'd walk out of the clinic, hands swaying, with some occasional happy jumps from his kid
• a few stops were made as well because his child would show off his cute stitch sticker to every person that they would pass by, may it be a patient or a nurse
YUNHO ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
― actor dad
• the idea actually blossomed after the night he and his child played a game of charades
• at one point, yunho began acting out spongebob
• his child was having fun watching him and his comedic antics that they eventually blurt out
• "i wanna see daddy acting!"
• luckily, yunho's current movie project was a family-oriented one and the director was a friend of his
• as soon as they arrive at the filming site, his child marvels at everything they see
• "daddy, everything's soo big!"
• yunho would chuckle
• at some point, his child gets too excited while yunho's talking to his co-actor
• he was so engrossed in their conversation that he almost forgot he had a child with him (how-)
• it's safe to say that he nearly lost his kid
• but he didn't
• so, all's well
• when yunho's time came for him to shine in front of the camera, his kid got to watch, front row. which was on the director's lap
• yunho knows and is a daily witness to how energetic and playful his child could get so he's actually surprised that his child was just calmly sitting there on someone they just met while seemingly being in awe by every expression yunho makes and every word he says
• in fact, his child has been behaving so well that the director let them speak through the megaphone to yell the word, "cut!"
• but ofc it came out cute and tiny and adowable~
• yunho's kid got every person on the set laughing
• later that day, a coffee truck that was sponsored by one of the casts in the movie came on the site
• the child was playing with yunho's manager and saw it
• "is that food?" the child points at the truck that had people approaching it
• yunho's manager would ask them if they want something to eat or drink but instead, the child says
• "can i get food for daddy?" they ask this with their head slightly tilted to the side
• they both ended up getting food and drinks and yunho's child does the honor of giving the sealed coffee cup to their daddy who was still filming
• as soon as yunho finishes, they carefully walk towards him
• "coffee delivery for daddy!" they'd say cutely, prompting yunho to chuckle
• then they'd share a pastry or two while yunho goes over his next lines
• when yunho gets back in front of the camera, his child would watch him intently
• their small mouth following their daddy's dialogue
• and when yunho finishes all his parts and is done for the day, he'll sit beside his kid, both of them following and mouthing every word the current actor says on screen
• soon after, both of them eventually got bored and yunho's manager finds them  getting all playful with the poor confused boy manning the coffee truck
• either bombarding him with questions about coffee or
• ordering a drink after another in a split second
• the manager ended up scolding them both
• but yunho and his child just laughs it off
• before things were wrapped up in the set, yunho planned to take a picture of himself so he could post it on his sns for the fans
• problem was, his child was starting to get all cranky and wouldn't want to leave his side
• so he asked for two pairs of sunglasses from his manager who also asked and got it from yunho's stylist
• when yunho gave the smaller sunglass to his child and said that they would take pictures like james bond, it brings a smile to the child's face
• "one, two, three!" yunho's manager would say while the both of them pose side by side, doing the infamous james bond pose
SAN ˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
― florist dad
• they haven't even left the house yet but san is already cooing and taking pictures of his kid due to their adorable ootd
• he's too attached to his child that even if the child wants to be put down, he still carries them on the way to his newly opened flower shop
• his child loves him as much as he does, so they end up not fighting their dad's urge to carry them every single time
• they both sings songs while san walks, on the way there
• they do so even while san is opening up the shop and the kid sits on a stool, twirling around to see the different flowers around them
• until they eventually got dizzy and san had to attend to them for a second
• when san is finished organizing every nook and cranny of his beloved shop, he grabs two aprons from the stock room
• he puts the apron on but doesn't tie it yet, then he walks to his overly curious child, smiling
• he makes them lower their head and puts the cute little apron on them, trying his best to make a pretty ribbon while humming
• "can you tie my apron for me, angel?" he'd say after
• when the child nods their head, he doesn't waste any second and instantly turns
• while his child is tying his apron for him, he's smiling, dimples full on display while he clutches his chest, heart soaring
• san just adores his kid so much, okay?
• everything his child does make his heart do somersaults
• since it's still a newly opened shop, after san flips the closed sign into open, it was still quiet and empty
• and what does san do to fill the silence? he makes silly dance moves while he hums which makes his kid laugh heartily
• later on he starts actually singing, making up a song with flower names in the lyrics
• they do that for a moment until it started to get quite tiresome
• so he picks up his child and transfers the stool in front of the register, closer to him when he actually starts to attend to customers later
• san teaches his kid about each button and what they're for but the candy jar filled with flower shaped candies at the corner of the counter was what grabbed the child's attention more
• and yes, san put it there because of his own kid, and not because he has a sweet tooth. nope.
• when a customer does arrive and asks for assistance, san leaves his kid with the jar telling them not to finish it all up in one sitting
• "...or you'll have a sugar rush. are we clear, angel?" the kid nods at him. "very good. daddy will be back"
• he smiles at them and gives them a small pat on top of their cute little head
• soon after, san's got customer after another
• one particular elder lady was holding him up quite longer than the previous ones
• and san didn't really mind at all since he loves helping and being of service to others
• he didn't mind explaining each type of flower, their meaning, and what occasions they're great for, to the lady
• but from his peripheral vision, he could see that his angel was already pouting from their seat by the counter
• candy jar, untouched
• he knows, san knows, that his baby is already bored out of their minds
• most probably in need of something else to stimulate them and keep their cute lil head occupied
• the lady certainly notices the hesitation dancing in san's irises, even his fidgety hands
• "is that your child over there, young man?" she asks
• san rubs his nape, awkwardly, and says yes
• "they look like they're bored to the core" she points out
• "a-ah yes, i thought the colorful candies would keep them entertained for a bit"
• "clearly not" the lady scoffs, catching san off guard
• he wasn't sure what to make out of the lady's statement until...
• "why not bring them over here? let them explain whichever flower to me and maybe i'll be able to finally make up my mind" she says
• hearing that, san does everything to not squeal a yes in front of her and embarrass himself
• "i'll be right back" he says in a hurry, hurrying to save his child from the arms of boredom
• "well, hi there, little one. you're awfully adorable aren't you?"
• the child was a bit shy at first, but when san tells them it's okay, they start going out of their shell
• fondness danced in san's eyes as he watched his child cutely explain everything to the elder lady
• the elder lady who actually seemed to have an affinity for kids
• and then, san notices
• he only notices that his child has also gotten his long time habit of pouting while talking
• all his life, he's been called cute, adorable, and other compliments there are that matches his nickname, 'sannie'
• but now, he doesn't think there will be anyone else who'll ever compare to the cuteness of his precious angel.

The Park's Christmas 🎄
Tumblr media
Pairing: idol dad Park Seonghwa x fem named reader x twin kids (Min-Jun, Min-Ji) x Kim Hongjoong x Hongjoong’s kid (Minjae)
Genre: fluff
Summary: A glimpse into the Park's house on a Christma's morning.
Word count: 1.9k
The Park's house buzzed with the excitement of Christmas Eve. The twins were fast asleep in their room while Seonghwa and Minseo hustled around the living room, preparing the final touches for Christmas morning.
Even though the kids were getting older, the couple still wanted to make every holiday feel magical. As their curiosity grew, so did their schemes to catch Santa in action, so the parents always did their best to wait until the morning to set everything up.
“Hurry up, babe. They're going to wake up soon.” Minseo whispered as she grabbed the presents from their hiding spot.
“I know, just finishing up Santa’s footprints.” Seonghwa muttered, stepping carefully on the flour scattered on the floor to create the illusion of Santa's trail. “Hongjoong, keep an eye out for the kids, okay? Make sure they don’t peek.”
Hongjoong, who had decided to spend the holidays with the Parks, chuckled from his post near the hallway. “You’ve got it. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Min-Jun or Minjae are plotting something to sneak a look.”
Minseo laughed as she placed presents under the tree. “They’ve been trying for years. But, this year, we're ready.”
“Speaking of presents, can you put these ones from Wooyoung, Yeosang, and Mingi under the tree too?” Hongjoong handed her more wrapped boxes.
“Sure thing.” She replied, placing them strategically.
Seonghwa chuckled. “Who told us it was a good idea to give our kids so many uncles?”
“I wouldn’t have it any other way.” Minseo smiled as they both finished their tasks.
With everything set, Minseo clapped her hands. “Alright, time to wake the kids up.”
Seonghwa nodded and headed toward the twins’ room. The kids still shared a room despite their parents offering them their own spaces. They had refused, insisting that they wanted to stay together.
When Seonghwa opened the door, the twins were tangled in a mess of blankets and stuffed animals. Min-Ji was curled up in her own bed, while Min-Jun and Minjae slept together in Min-Jun’s bed, their little faces peaceful.
Minseo and Hongjoong went over to Min-Jun and Minjae, while Seonghwa gently shook Min-Ji awake.
“Min-min, wake up baby, it’s Christmas,” Minseo cooed, softly brushing Min-Jun's hair out of his face.
Min-Jun stirred and blinked his eyes open. “Good morning, Mommy,” he mumbled before placing a sleepy kiss on her cheek.
“Morning, sunshine. Guess who visited us last night?” she asked.
Min-Jun’s eyes widened. “Santa?”
Minseo smiled. “That’s right!” His sleepy demeanor quickly vanished as he squealed in excitement, jumping out of bed.
“Did Santa eat the cookies we left out for him?” Min-Ji asked, her big eyes searching her father’s face.
Seonghwa, Minseo and Hongjoong exchanged panicked glances, realizing they had forgotten about the cookies, milk, and carrots left for Santa and his reindeer.
“Of course, sweetheart,” Seonghwa quickly reassured her. “Santa loved them!”
“Let’s go see!” Minjae chimed in, just as excited.
“But first, you three need to brush your teeth.” Seonghwa reminded them, eliciting groans of protest by the childrens.
“Once you’re done, you can open your presents.” Minseo added, sending them off to the bathroom.
As soon as the kids ran off, the adults rushed back to the living room. The cookies, milk, and carrots were still untouched on the table.
“Why did they leave carrots?” Hongjoong wrinkled his nose in disgust seeing the carrots.
“It’s a tradition.” Seonghwa explained while stuffing a cookie into his mouth, leaving some crumbs behind.
Minseo grabbed the glass of milk and quickly downed it. “It’s for Santa’s reindeer, remember?”
“You eat the carrots, Hong,” Seonghwa said, still chewing the cookie.
“Why me? I hate carrots.” Hongjoong looked scandalized.
“Because I’m eating the cookies, and Minseo’s drinking the milk. The kids are coming!” Seonghwa said in a panic.
Grumbling, Hongjoong grabbed the plate. “This is so unfair. Next year, I’m eating the cookies.”
“Remember, you’re doing it for your son." Minseo grinned as Hongjoong reluctantly chomped down on the carrots. “He’s going to be so excited like our kids.”
Just as they finished, the sound of little feet echoed down the hallway.
“Look, Santa left footprints!” Min-Jun shouted, running over to examine his father’s work.
“And he ate all the cookies!” Min-Ji added, her eyes wide with wonder. “Oh no Daddy! Santa left crumbs on the table. You always say not to leave crumbs!”
Seonghwa chuckled kissing her little head. “It’s okay, baby. We’ll clean it up later.”
Even Minjae got in on the excitement. “The reindeer ate the carrots too, Dad!”
Hongjoong, still chewing the last of the carrots, smiled and ruffled Minjae’s hair. “They must’ve been really hungry. Great job feeding them, buddy.”
With everything in place, Seonghwa smiled. “Alright, who wants to open presents?”
Before the kids could respond, the doorbell rang. Seonghwa sighed, heading over to answer it. Standing on the doorstep were the rest of Ateez, with their arms full of even more presents.
“Move bitch!” Wooyoung pushed past Seonghwa with a laugh. “Uncle Woo is here!”
“Uncle Woo!” The kids ran to greet him, their excitement hitting new heights.
Yunho, stepping inside with a grin, scooped Min-Ji into his arms. “How’s my favorite niece?”
“I’m your only niece, Uncle Yuyu!” Min-Ji giggled.
“And that’s why you’re my favorite!” Yunho replied, hugging her tighter.
Seonghwa frowned, crossing his arms. “Okay, enough. She’s my daughter.”
Yunho pouted dramatically. “Come on, hyung. You get her all the time. I need my niece's hugs or I’ll die!”
Min-Ji giggled, glancing up at her dad. “Please Daddy, just one more hug?”
Sighing, Seonghwa nodded. “Fine, but after that, you’re back with me.”
Min-Ji quickly gave her dad a kiss on the cheek before returning to Yunho, who shot Seonghwa a triumphant look.
“First Wooyoung with my wife since we satrted dating, now Yunho with my daughter." Seonghwa muttered as he sat beside Minseo.
She laughed, resting her head on his shoulder. “They adore the kids. Let them have their fun.”
Seonghwa smiled at her, giving her a quick kiss. “You’re always right.”
The living room filled with laughter as Ateez joined the family on the floor, opening presents, sharing stories, and creating memories together—just like they always did.
As the gift-opening frenzy continued, the kids eagerly tore into their presents, exclaiming over each new toy or game they unwrapped. Seonghwa and Minseo sat back for a moment, watching with fond smiles as their living room turned into a whirlwind of wrapping paper and excited shouts.
"Uncle Woo, look! A remote-control car!" Min-Jun shouted, waving the box in the air.
"That one’s from me!" Wooyoung grinned proudly. "We’ll race it later, buddy."
Minjae, with a thoughtful expression, brought over a large plush dinosaur and held it up for inspection. "Uncle Yuyu, did you get this for me?"
Yunho, still holding Min-Ji nodded. "Sure did, buddy. I thought you'd like it."
Minjae beamed and hugged the dinosaur tightly. "Thanks uncle! It’s my favorite."
Meanwhile, Min-Ji was carefully unwrapping her own gift from Yunho. She gasped when she saw what was inside—a set of pastel-colored art supplies. "Uncle Yuyu! This is amazing!"
"I know you love to draw." Yunho said, smiling at her excitement. "Now you can make even more masterpieces. Don't forget to gift your uncle Yuyu one of your art works." He kissed her niece cheek and she laughed nodding her head.
Seonghwa shifted in his seat, his expression softening a little as he watched his daughter hug Yunho tightly in thanks. But then, when Yunho gave Min-ji a playful kiss on her forehead, Seonghwa cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention.
"Okay, okay, I think that's enough affection for one day." Seonghwa said, a teasing glint in his eyes as he reached over to take Min-Ji back into his arms. "You’re still my little star, remember?"
Min-Ji giggled as she snuggled against her dad’s chest. "I know, Daddy."
Yunho shot Seonghwa a playful glare. "You’re so possessive, hyung. She’s allowed to like her uncle more sometimes, you know."
Seonghwa smirked. "Not gonna happen, Yunho"
Minseo chuckled from beside him. "You’ll have to share eventually, Hwa. She’s growing up."
Seonghwa let out a dramatic sigh but kissed the top of Min-Ji's head. "She’ll always be my little girl."
Jongho, never one to miss an opportunity to stir the pot, leaned over with a grin. "Maybe you should be more worried about her future boyfriends, Seonghwa."
Seonghwa’s face immediately shifted from playful to serious. "Boyfriends? No, no way. Not happening."
All the members burst out laughing at Seonghwa’s overprotectiveness.
Mingi, still chuckling, shook his head. "You’re in for a long ride, hyung. Just wait until she’s a teenager."
Seonghwa narrowed his eyes at the members. "You guys better not give her any ideas."
Minseo playfully nudged her husband. "You’re being dramatic, love. Let her enjoy her childhood first."
Before Seonghwa could respond, Min-Ji interrupted. "Daddy, can we play outside with the new toys?"
The adults exchanged looks before Seonghwa nodded. "Sure, my star. But only for a little while—it’s still cold outside."
"Yay!" Min-Jun, Minjae, and Min-Ji immediately jumped up, grabbing their favorite toys and running toward the door. The members followed suit, eager to join in the fun.
As the group bundled up in jackets and scarves, they stepped out into the snow-covered yard. The kids' laughter echoed through the air as they played with their new toys. Wooyoung, Mingi, San and Min-Jun set up an impromptu race with the remote-control cars, while Yeosang helped Minjae navigate a new board game he had received with Hongjoong.
Yunho, meanwhile, was still carrying Min-Ji, twirling her in the air as she giggled.
Seonghwa watched from the side, leaning against the porch railing with his arms crossed. Every time Min-Ji’s delighted laugh reached his ears, he couldn’t help but smile—until he saw Yunho toss her up playfully, catching her in a dramatic hug.
“Alright, that’s enough,” Seonghwa called out, stepping forward. “Min-Ji, come play with Daddy.”
Min-Ji squirmed in Yunho’s arms, clearly torn. “But Daddy, Uncle Yuyu was—”
Seonghwa gave her a soft look. “You said you wanted to play with your new toys. Why don’t we build that snow fort you’ve been talking about?”
Min-Ji's eyes lit up at the mention of the snow fort. “Okay, Daddy!” She turned to Yunho. “Thanks for playing with me, Uncle Yuyu.”
Yunho set her down with a smile. “Anytime, princess. You have fun with your dad, okay?”
As she ran over to Seonghwa, Yunho raised an eyebrow at his friend. “A little jealous, hyung?”
Seonghwa shot him a smirk. “I’ve got nothing to be jealous about. She’s just more comfortable with her dad.”
Jongho who was passing by chuckled, nudging Seonghwa playfully. “Sure, keep telling yourself that.”
Minseo, who had been watching the entire exchange from a distance, shook her head with an amused smile. She made her way over to the two men and wrapped her arms around Seonghwa’s waist. “You’re impossible sometimes.”
Seonghwa softened at her touch, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. “I just don’t want anyone stealing my little girl.” He said with a teasing smile, but his eyes carried a more serious tone.
“She loves you more than anything,” Minseo reassured him, leaning up to kiss his cheek. “But you have to let her enjoy her uncles too.”
“I know ” Seonghwa sighed. “It’s just…hard sometimes. They’re growing up so fast.”
Minseo rested her head on his shoulder, watching their kids play in the snow with their uncles. “They’ll always remember these moments—these Christmases, the laughter, the love. And we’ll always have these memories, no matter how old they get.”
Seonghwa nodded, pulling her closer as they both watched the scene unfold. The snow continued to fall gently around them, but the warmth of family, laughter, and love filled the air.
