Inanna's Descent to the Underworld is about her attempt to claim the underworld from her sister, Ereshkigal.

A Hymn to Inanna for Idin-Daggan is a text about the Marriage Ceremony, a religious ritual in which the king would marry Inanna.

The Exaltation of Inanna by Enheduanna, is a hymn of praise by a high priestess asking for help against a rival.

The texts I shared are all Sumerian, so they use the name Inanna instead of Ishtar, which is the later Akkadian name for her. I'm sharing the Sumerian versions bc they are older and easier to find online.

So last nights episode of CR got me real effed up so another thing:

So like what if Lucien remembers his time as Molly and doesn’t know it’s the Mighty Nein scrying on him. And while we’re all speculation that he could have been Vess during the dinner (which is what I think is the case) or Keelan during snowman making( which I WANT to be the case); vess could have just been Vess and Lucien could have very well just snuck into her rooms night under everyone’s nose and didn’t see the mighty Nein so he could be like “vess hired some assholes, don’t know who just know they’ve scried on me lol” and then finds out later that it’s TMN. But also what if Molly IS still in Lucien and if keelan was Lucien in disguise what if the Molly part was like “build the snowman with jester” and he misses them.

What I’m trying to say is what if Lucien remembers his time as Molly? What if he’s not bad and what if his goals aren’t evil. Like we’re grasping at straws assuming he’s evil. But Vess is a horrible person and betrayed Lucien somehow and killed him so her evening dead is bad for TMN cuz they could be blamed but they are innocent. And everyone’s like “they should have been protecting her and what not” but weren’t they hired to protected her on the actual trip to the ruins of Aeor? Like I don’t think they were wrong in keeping Vess at a distance until they had to protect her from unknown magic and the wilderness. I doubt anyone at balanpost expected an assembly member to be murdered under there nose and I’ve almost argue that balanpost is gonna be in more trouble than TMN. Also I have no doubt they’re gonna dump her body in the river of lava and they COULD modify Daggan’s(is that how his name is spelt??) memory of they wanna get away with hiding the body.

But they could also bring her back but after torturing Yeza and betraying Lucien/Molly I don’t think the mighty Nein are gonna entertain that idea for to long

Also I know the angst of these Lucien episodes make it seem like we’re headed towards a cliff but what if The Tombtakers are nice like the Mighty Nein, just a group of assholes trying their best. Consider the brilliant nonsense of our recent elected leaders and the people they have hired or appointed. A truly idiotic notion does not fly unless it promises real harm. The idea of raising taxes is not a good one. Doing it when all indicators are that the economy is weakening is doubly unwise. Doing it after giving yourself fat raises, and fat raises to supporters who voted for you, while saying we can't afford to pay our bills or take care of our schools and manamko’ is the height of idiocy.

Listening to the questions by freshmen Senators Regine Biscoe-Lee, Fernando Estevez, and Wil Castro proves how easily an idiot can get elected.

The president of Ambros, Frank Shimizu did a fantastic presentation showing Calvo-Tenorio's plan equates to triple taxation and gives offisland businesses a huge advantage over local businesses.

Knowing this, and we have Senators who want to vote for Calvo-Tenorio's bill.

It's no wonder people think anybody can be a Senator these days. Looking at the names of people who picked up papers to run for the office proves my point.
