I just remembered that my first mmx fanart was of, uh, Zero...in a maid dress

I went through the effort of finding it on my ipad and honestly, it's good to see how much better I am at drawing and especially at anatomy now.

An idea that I can't get out of my head is that X likes to wear human clothes in his own free time and has tried to get Zero to do so aswell, but it's not 100% sure about it. At the same time, if X is wearing something like a really soft hoodie - Zero will lay his head against X's hoodie because he likes it and is actually sensory seeking (and doesn't actually know it's a thing). These gay robots will be the death of me.

Headcanon time but I imagine Axl and Pallette will just act crazy in group chats. Like Zero or Alia send a picture of X in armour to the main hunters group chat and Axl just responds with "why does he have child bearing hips?" followed by Pallette responding with "💀💀💀". Occasionally Signas will ask Axl what he means, which is followed by everyone else typing "No" or "Don't worry about it" back

Also that Alia and Layer definitely talk about what's happening in the group chat in their private messages in real time. But also just that Alia and Layer are friends that send each other posts to talk about

I think the reason Command Mission's ending is so bittersweet, and the ending song is so melancholic, is because X couldn't save Epsilon and his cadres, along with all the other reploids that die during the story. As the story went on and it became clear that Epsilon wasn't truely maverick, especially after the first Scarface fight, X probably felt guilty but still accepted taking down Epsilon as the right thing as their actions could've triggered hundreds if not thousands or more reploids to go maverick...

And then it turns out it was a set up all along. The friend he made and lost had only been using him and his strength to get the Supra-force metal and then went entirely maverick. Despite how angry he is in game, X was probably torn up inside by Redips' reveal even when finally killing him. Then, right after Ferham showed that she wanted to do good and help, she jumps off the platform with the rest of the metal so she can die with it. He runs up to try and grab her but it's too late. She caused them so much hassle and yet he still tried to save her once he realised what she was doing.

Even if it is a different timeline, so it's not that exact same X - he probably does want a world where people don't have to die in war. He doesn't want to kill people that can still atone for their crimes. Sure, he made many allies during the game but that doesn't take away from the fact that he couldn't save all of them. And that guilt is represented with the credits song having such a melancholic mood to it.

#not even getting into whether or not the real spider died defending X from preons in chapter 1 and then redips used that familiarity to #further his goals because sweet lord is that more depressing #mega man x #megaman x #mmx #rip chief r aswell he did NOT deserve that fate man #in my heart the real spider is alive and acts suspiciously similar to the fake spider #this might be one of my favourite megaman games because the more i think about it the more chills i get #hell definitely up there for a great jrpg the vibes were amazing #// spoilers #but it is a 20 year old game so #capcom make a sequel and my life is yours #daimian.txt

I think it's so funny that Dynamo doesn't do what he does because he's Maverick or hates humanity - it's literally just because he's being paid. Or well, thought he was getting paid, considering the state of Sigma at the end of X5.
