I just finished Frostbitten and I just have to say THANK YOU for reminding me to finish this series! but now there's only 3 left I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!

AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH yesssss. Ok there’s three NOVELS but Kelley Armstrong is actually still writing the series. She does short stories and graphic novels now. She didn’t want the series to go out lame, or to just “keep writing” for the sake of making money. So she’s been keeping the world alive with shorter works for fans which  I personally love. Also, she’s planning novels from Logan/Kate’s perspective in a few years. She doesn’t want to “force” age them but she does want to write from their pov. So don’t worry! It’s not the end, not really.

Anyways! Nsq, yeah that's basically what I meant. And for Alanna, yes there's that sense that once she reveals herself things'll be different, but besides Coram to start with there's basically no one telling her, specifically, that she shouldn't be doing this. Jon does a little and so does George but they've both got romantic interest so that's a little iffy and that's still not until she's a ways in. There's no one constantly trying to sway her from what she's doing, especially not anyone she knew growing up.

(And part of that is probs because those were the first books? Like if Pierce tackled that story now we'd probably get a little more of that).

Because it's one thing to have people generally say "x shouldn't do this." It's another to do and then tell people and then have them say "you're x, so you shouldn't have done this." We've had that story. I want the story where DURING everything, a personally TRUSTED peer is saying "you're x, so you should quit doing this." Or have the character not be fully set on the path to start with to make it even more difficult; Alanna and Kel were both set on being knights before they started and had road bumps but they chose that road with their entire beings at the very start.

I found this blog at the perfect time!! I'm about halfway through my Tamora Pierce's Entire Body of Work Reread. It was supposed to be done by the end of the summer, but whatevs. Anyway, this log is AMAZING and I hope you guys keep it going! I love know there are other people out there who love these books as much (and maybe even more) as I do!! :)
