Dani never really knew her birth parents. She was found on the doorstep of an orphanage when she was less than six months old and was raised by the nuns who resided there. She always made it her mission to befriend anyone who came into the building, looking out for all of the other children as she became older. Eventually, at the age of six, she was adopted by a wealthy family who moved her to their large home. She suddenly felt rather alone, despite being loved and appreciated by her new parents, and would go out and wander around the nearby town to make friends where she could. She befriended a young boy, a little bit younger than her, and the two would play in the local woods, making up stories and creating worlds of their own. One day, while playing near a creek, Dani took a tumble and bumped her head. She was not seriously hurt, but the incident saw the beginning of something strange. She began to have dreams, later visions, all of things that came to be true. They never made sense, but over time, she learned to understand and accept her unique and unexplained skills.
Once she was older, she moved away from home and went to college, before getting a job as a bartender and finding a home for herself in the city. She settled down in her small apartment, socialising everywhere she could and trying not to let herself seem strange to anyone. Her bubbly personality makes her seem outgoing and confident, however a lot of it is an act to cover up how different she sometimes feels and how socially awkward she can sometimes be.
