Headcanon - Steven

Peter Carlisle - Born 7 years before Steven, the older Carlisle son always looked out for his little brother. He guided him the best he could, and the two loved one another a great deal. They would play music together in their youth and were incredibly close. Six months before Steve graduated from the academy and could join his brother as an officer, Peter was killed when issuing a search warrant. Steven was devastated, having to bury the brother who he looked up to and wanted to be like. He followed through on that, working to be the best officer he could to make Peter proud.

Headcanon [Steven] || School Years 

Steven was sent to a prestigious all-boys school by his parents, where they thought that he would get the best possible education. He was well-educated, but he didn’t mix too well socially - though not for lack of trying. He would try to make friends, but his quiet nature combined with his family’s reputation within the world of law enforcement made it very difficult and he often found himself spending time alone in the library reading. Fortunately, he was never bullied, simply felt rather invisible. He didn’t dislike his school years, as he feels that they taught him resilience, but he doesn’t have entirely fond memories of them. He made much better and longer-lasting bonds in the academy.

Steven has worn glasses since he was five years old. He broke one of his first pairs when he was seven, after putting them on his bed and forgetting they were there - he sat on them. He mostly wears contacts these days.
