What are your headcannons for Victim and the mercenaries?

Hmmm, I don't have much about mercs and Victim, but I can share what I've got

Victim lost their eye during the 'rebirth' (whatever happened to them, I'm waiting for canon explanation). They use prosthesis and it has more functions than just being an eye

Victim has wreaked feeling of heat and cold, they mostly feel cold. Jacket they wear is a gift from Mercenaries for Rocket Corporation anniversary

Victim physically incapable to become stronger without equipment. Their physical strength staying on the same level regardless of trainings

I have two hcs about Victim's acceptance of their name

They don't accept the name 'victim' and hate being called that, using Vic or Boss

They actually accept it and go with logic 'Maybe I am a victim, but look where I got while being this'. Especially this feels during the 'fight' with Chosen

I prefer second option tbh

Victim doesn't celebrate their birthday, nor the rebirth date

Ballista eats unreasonable amount of sweets and sugar. Others can't drink his tea. Shady tries sometimes as a challenge though

Hazard is lacking of empathy. All mercs do to an point, but Hazard had no at all

I got some realizations recently-

What are your Color gang + purple headcanons? As a side note, do you polycule or nah?

I do polycule occasionally, depending on my mood

As for their hcs... Let's stop with how they were coming from enemies to friends

From fastest and easiest to get along with Purple, to the longest and hardest, it's: Green - Blue - Red - Yellow - Orange

Green is, obviously, the closest to Purple. Blue eventually follows close behind, they both get closer over passion about cooking (my hc that Purple is good at cooking)

Red just 'nah, they seem cool'. Especially after the Prank thing. They share the mischievous mood. Though Red is somewhat bitter about how Purple left Blue and Green to death

Yellow is a bit more suspicious, as the mature one. She's cautious, but eventually warms up when seeing her friends being calm. Also helps Yellow's curiosity about the OuterNet, and Purple is the only one she can question about it

Orange is a different story. Let's say, they watches Purple carefully for some time. They end up closer when Orange (being caught during the breakdown probably), shares his experience about seeing his friends dead. Eventually he learns to trust Purple slowly

Now then. Shall we get ourselves in check?

Green stood on the ground in front of the group. His friends looked at him with very different emotions.

This silence felt like forever. No one was moving. Even Purple and MT froze, not daring to disturb the gang.

Blue moved first.

It felt like an endless moment when in reality Blue rushed in Green's direction almost immediately. The only thing that left for Green was to catch younger friend in his arms, trying to keep his balance. He blinked in surprise, but gently rubbed Blue's back.

"Hey, hey... I'm here."

Green only heard muttering he couldn't understand. A light wave of the guilt washed over him, seeing Blue so worried. He didn't think about making them so sad. All he could remember from before he ran away was Orange being pissed, Red being annoyed, Yellow frowning... But only now Green remembered Blue's face. Their hesitation.

"I'm sorry I made you worried, okay?"

Blue shook their head, but still stayed almost hanging on Green's neck.

"I'm glad you're back."

Green let out soft sigh and smiled. He looked up, facing the rest of the gang. Red and Yellow both had very, very, hesitant expressions. Orange stayed behind them and kept his head low, so Green couldn't see his face.

Red was the next one to come to Green. Yellow followed right behind, throwing the staff on the ground. Moment later both Green and Blue got in the group hug. The oldest let out sigh of relief, trying to hug them all at the same time.

Only Orange stayed away from the group, not looking up nor moving an inch.

Ah! Green! *follows Purple down*

We’re been looking all over for you!

When Green was called from behind, he got startled pretty much, jolting and turning around.

Purple... They were here.

Green just stared at them with wide eyes, not sure what to say. What could he even say? He rubbed his eyes quickly, trying to hold back the tears.

The expression he saw on Purple's face... All worry, compassion and sympathy. Green didn't even know someone can look with such a glare.

Green slowly took a step back. He was confused. Scared. Hurt. So many things were racing through his mind, but none of them he could actually understand or hear.

"Green..."

Purple called. Green didn't answer. He only looked down at the sand. Then he heard careful steps of Purple approaching him. Green didn't move in the slightest, but the next thing he felt was...

A hug.

Green blinked, looking at Purple. Nothing was said. He hugged them too, slightly gripping the T-shirt on their back. Green rested his head on Purple's shoulder as they run their hand through his hair.

That was enough to bring Green to his limit.

He let out quiet sigh, which slowly grew into whimper. Green turned his head to bury his face in Purple's shoulder, as his feelings got the best of him.

The desert was filled with only wind and quiet crying.

I don't know if I'll start any AU about AvA/M, but I definitely have some ideas. Here will be link to the post with headcanons! (I'm working on it, I swear...)
