Darksiderstober 2023 Day 14: Relic

After their little disagreement, Siva was more hesitant to give up any relics she found on her scavenging trips, and for the first time Vulgrim learns the ancient concept of Finders keepers. Finally been catching up since mid November got busy, so expect me to post every now and then with finishing each day at my own pace. Hope ya like and stay tuned!

  The Official Darksiderstober for 2022 is here, and oh boy is this cause for celebration!  It’s officially been 2 years since I did the last one, not counting last year since I didn’t finish every day, but i am so happy I got to do it completely this time.  My style has definitely improved since then, and drawing Darksiders is all sorts of fun.  I wanted to thank you guys for following the Darksidersober journey this year, as well as thank @imagine-darksiders for starting and sponsoring it!  She helps keep the fandom alive with her artwork and writing so highly recommend checking it out!  I also wanted to thank @another-darksiders-blog for making the prompts this time, as well as participating with epic entries this year!  Wanted to mention @doodlesdreaming , to check out some of the amazing pieces they did for it in case you guys wanted to see others work for Darksiderstober this year.  Thank you everyone, and hope to see you guys next year!

Finally here to the last entry for Darksiderstober 2022, and considering that this is the last day and I have done all the entries, for Day 31 decided to "Celebrate" by taking it easy on this one. A little doodle of Siva offering thanks to the Followers through out the years and those that followed along with Darksiderstober this year. Darksiderstober Day 27 " Flesh and Bone" is three days late, but here's both the conniving Chancellor and the Blademaster Draven sending threats. I'm sure out of the four, Death would feel a great sorrow, and painful guilt towards his role in the extermination of the Nephilim. Even if it was in the name of balance, he will forever be marred by the shards in his chest, the blood spilt by his hands...and the scars forever etched in his mind. Ultimately when left with the choice, atoned by bringing back humanity with the souls of his former brethren Nephilim by sacrificing himself. This is Day 20 "Guilt" for Darksiderstober 2022 , which took me a while, but worth the time and effort! Hope ya like, prompts are here , and stay tuned!

Darksiderstober 2022 entry for Day 8 "Chains". Framed for a crime he did not commit, War spent a century under the eye of the council, left to suffer for a betrayal he wasn't responsible for. So for Darksiderstober 2022, I decided to combine Day 11+12 into one picture of "Light" and "Dark". Perfect representation would be Abbadon himself, and his alter The Destroyer. From Heaven's greatest warrior, to Hell's fiercest Lord, the perfect example of falling from Grace all because he wanted to end the war on his terms, ultimately dooming humanity. Playing the first Darksiders game, War is portrayed as this battle hardened badass throughout most of it....only to get bug-napped in the iron canopy. I found it hilarious, I'm sure the watcher would too.😂. My entry for Darksiderstober 2022, Day 21 "Cobwebs", had to do a pic of War in his sticky situation, along with a distressed Siva below wondering how. Both on how to get him down, and how a bunch of mini spider terrors got the drop on him and wrapped him like a burrito. Hilarious indeed, War is not happy about it. When one begins to doubt, to question the futility of it all..

A little Humanity can go a long way...

(Inspired by the song "We were Humanity" by Lorenzo Ferrara)

A piece for Darksiderstober 2022 Day 13, "Humanity". Wanted to draw Jones once more, hidden among the remnants of humanity as a mortal man, there are certainly times when the disguised Nephilim has his doubts. Whenever another human had been lost, or the demons seem to keep coming, he asks himself if this is worth the risk, worth the price for redeeming himself in some way. Kindness and a listening ear definitely helps, and a young Siva is willing to help another. Hope ya like, prompts are here , and stay tuned!

Decided to draw Fury and Usiel this time around for Darksiderstober 2022, for Day 16 "Alliance.". I admit for an angel, he was the most humble and cared a great deal about the men under his command, and Fury will never admit it, but I'm sure she would find that admirable. This piece for Darksiderstober 2022 was a lil ambitious, but worth it.😂. For Day 14 "Clashing Blades" wanted to draw the moment of reckoning between former brothers. The duel that decided the fate of Eden and condemned the Nephilim race. I can only imagine what kind of battle transpired between Death and Absalom, both were the elders and most powerful, so I'd imagine it was quite the clash. Fem!Death was something I drew during Darksiders week, and since the prompt for this was "Alternate Universe" thought it be a good one to draw for Darksiderstober for the 5th day. Not much difference personality wise, it's practically same person just with breasts (And wearing chest armor instead of his usual tits out theme).
