my theory on the tinhatters is it started out as a fantasy that they believed Chris and Darren were in love, and the more that Darren and Chris showed their real lives/loves, the more the tinhatters dug their heels in to prove that they were 'right'. It's been so many years now, and they keep saying 'time will tell', and it just isn't happening and it's turned into an embarassing, stupid joke about them now.

I mean that’s part of it, definitely.  That is why Real Person Shipping exists.  Though many of the people who do RPS know it’s not real and indulge in the fantasy.  

I think in every fandom there are people who believe the actors are in a real relationship - because if the characters spark, there has to be another reason behind it! 

But I think more so, in this instance, there’s a weird preoccupation with Darren’s sexuality.  It’s less about he and Chris being in a relationship, and more about how Darren couldn’t possibly be straight because x, y, and z.  And what’s worse is the anti-Mia sentiment -- because for whatever reason, they need a villain for this little farce, and she seems to be it.  But at the end of the day, the crux of it seems to stem from the obsession with Darren’s sexuality.  :P

Right now, we’re @spaceorphan18​ and @redheadgleek​ - the later created the blog, and is her blog, the former is just an obnoxious fangirl taking over things because that’s what she does.  We’ll probably be able to rope in @snarkyhag​ into our crew if we ask nicely enough.

A place to share all the wonderful things Chris Colfer! This covers his entire career - including Glee, Land of Stories, Struck by Lightning, and anything else that might be related to magnificently talented Chris Colfer.  

Is this a news blog? 

It’s a little bit more casual than a news blog, but we will post news items as we come across them.

Is this place Will, Darren, Mia, Glee Cast, etc, etc, etc friendly? 

Here is the honest, upfront truth about this.  Chris Colfer is currently in a relationship with a gentleman named Will Sherrod.  We respect them and if Chris is in accompany with his boyfriend (or anyone else) and it’s public, we will reblog/repost.  We are also friendly towards all of the Glee cast, as well as other people in Chris’s life.  We do try to stay pretty positive around here.  

That said - there’s no tolerance for anything that is mean spirited or untruthful.  So, if you are under the impression that Chris might be in a secret relationship with any of his old costars, this is not going to be the place for you.  #sorrynotsorry 

So yeah - that’s who we are -- welcome to the blog, hope you enjoy the stay and all the Colfer!!!

They complain a lot about the Miarren time-line (which only they know because they haven't talked about it much and also it's their business) when they're always changing the coming out and contracts time-line all the time!!! After glee, after hedwig, after ACS, after Hollywood... Now what? Another contract? Just give it up!!!

YEP.  I find it so odd to bitch about the timeline. Darren and Mia have never sat down and said, “fandom, we want you to know everything about our origin story so here it is in minute detail”. They have been very vague. They clearly don’t want us to know that information so to be obsessed about it and fixate on the errors- especially the errors that are made in interviews- is pointless stupidity. I know, they think that Darren’s team sends out the interviews and controls all the information but they don’t and journalists make mistakes- especially about something that Darren isn’t going to come out and say “yes we started dating on “X date, 20XX”. They can only research that by reading other interviews and thus errors are spread. But most people don’t actually care about the exact date he started dating Mia because all we care about is she’s his long-term girlfriend now wife and they started dating around Glee.  They keep hoping to find this big glaring error that will prove cc is real and Mia is a beard but they just embarrass themselves as they point out nothing burgers.  

The contract storyline is just laziness at this point. If Darren is still signing contracts then he’s exactly where he deserves to be. It’s time for them to come up with a new trope to explain why he’s not with Chris.

Some people have true problems of reading comprehension (or maybe they just understand and interpret things as they want) ...

1) Rabid in the defense of Mia ? Mmmmh no I’d say defense of anyone they ever hurt and attacked and bullied ... which means anyone that never agreed with them. If it was JUST Mia it would be already enough but yeah they can try and convince themselves it’s JUST Mia. After all, them and all their predecessors basically bullied her off the internet. kinda reminds me of something they claim, don’t you think ? After Curt, Julie, Alexis had to defend their friends to people who never even met them ... when CCers had Darren reacts on his IG and twitter ... when CCers didn’t even respect Chuck posting about his daughter birth ... Wanna continue ?

2) Once again wrong she never said she didn’t want to be involved with someone in the public eyes she said she never really wantED or thought she would be. Notice the use of the past ? “ “It’s funny, but so strange,” Swier said. “Being closely associated with someone in the public eye—which was never something I really wanted or thought I would be—it wasn’t a predicament I thought I would find myself in.” Can they see the difference ? English isn’t even my maternal language and even I get what she meant ... 

3) Does she hijack ? I mean does Chris O’Donnel wife hijack his red carpet ? Does Alec Baldwin’s does ? Or is it just Mia ? How many times did they rejoice thtat Mia wasn’t there and Darren’s was free to discover hours later she really was there but didn’t pose on the red carpet ? I mean we know they know as now they don’t rejoice cause they’ve been burnt one too many times ...

4) She’s really here talking about hypocrisy when they decide everything and it’s contrary proves them right. Is she really talking about hypocrisy when they’re crying about something done to them that they do on a a daily basis (yes they are outing Darren wether he’s LGBT ... or not) ? Is she really talking about hypocrisy when she literally insults and bully everyone (Cunt darling ... and it wasn’t the 1st time) ... particularly people who are close to darren.

5) Oh do we ? And what is it that flowers did last year by revealing Darren’s address ? Everything was out there publicly on the internet, so I guess it was free game in that case too. Unless you had the right ... but not everyone else. Who’s talking about hypocrisy ?

6) As for Abby as we say : hate and you will be hated. And let’s be real she was as ugly with everyone as people were supposedly with her. If she couldn’t take the heat maybe she shouldn’t have done the deed.
