August 23rd, 1991 ~ Pearl Jam play their first outdoor show as part of ‘Sounds of Seattle’. This is also Dave Abbruzzese's first concert drumming with Pearl Jam and the last show of the free "'91 Sounds of Seattle" concert series (later called "Pain in the Grass"). As an intro to "Porch", Eddie says, "This song is about if you love someone, tell him". Eddie climbs the speaker stacks during "Porch" and glances over his shoulder at the Space Needle. Eddie takes Jeff's basketball from behind the speakers and throws it playfully into the crowd. The ball makes its way back to the stage during "Breath", which is played wonderfully. "Jeremy" is on the setlist but not played. O baterista David James Abbruzzese completa 49 anos hoje.

David James Abbruzzese (17 de maio de 1968, Stamford, Connecticut) é um baterista estadunidense muito virtuoso, faz ótimo uso do pedal e um único bumbo, além de utilizar muito os pratos. Fez parte da banda Pearl Jam de 1991 até 1994, quando foi demitido, sem que fosse dada nenhuma explicação oficial sobre esse fato. Nessa banda, substituiu Dave Krusen que gravou o álbum Ten e logo teve que abandonar a banda por problemas particulares. Abbruzzese gravou os álbuns Vs e Vitalogy, clipes de Even Flow, Oceans e Jeremy, além do MTV Unplugged em 1992.
