As y’all are no doubt aware, brevity isn’t really my jam; as, TBH, I’m quite enamored with the sound of my own voice (whether spoken or written). So, when it comes to these digest-style articles for THE LIST, a HUGE amount of the credit goes to EIC @AndreaBennettInk, who takes the rambling screeds I send her and whittles them down with surgical precision to the lean bursts of verbiage you read in the magazine. Case in point: this article about @DavidBlaine’s new IN SPADES residency à la @AEGPresentsLV, in the @ResortsWorldTheatre at @ResortsWorldLV; about which I was pretty intrigued beforehand (i.e., how he planned to translate his well-known spectacles to the Las Vegas stage), and from which I came away amazed, shocked, awed, a little grossed-out, and thoroughly entertained.
