THE LORE: they're an angel trainee who's slightly older than Merus, and started training in the mortal realm around the same time as him. she's been the resident janitor since the frieza force was still the cold force and does her job very efficiently- she'll show up as soon as a mess is made without warning, and vanish just as suddenly 🪄 this, combined with their stoic personality, makes most in the force wary of them, but in reality they're just casually observing the drama and making fun of everybody in their head. typical angel business.

i've been trying to fully conceptualize this character for a while now so i'm glad i could finally settle on a design i like !

A small thought I had, inspired by the previous post: I headcanon Champa and Beerus being older than Merus. One time, Vados and Whis had an idea of making the twins get along more smoother by babysitting little Merus. To be fair, they didn't do too badly besides mistakes and mistakes that are best not to be said, it wasn't disastrous until oh no, Merus is missing. Where is the baby angel?

They spent ages trying to find Merus, whilst scared of elimination if they can't find him. Vados and Whis just watched, they find it amusing. For baby Merus, he missed the Grand Minister and decided to float out of Universe 7 to see him in the palace. He floated slowly, small steps, the Grand Minister watching him, being proud in the inside (he sees it as first steps/route, an achievement). When Merus finally arrived after a couple of days and some energy boosts given by GM in secret, he let out the biggest smile seeing the Grand Minister and the Grand Minister caught him in his arms and held him for some time, just the two of them.

(thank you for answering this question, I had a good read and re-read of this of these cool ideas 💖 I am so sorry that this post is little disorganised, my head was thinking too hard hahaha. I decide to talk about Camparri and his previous Universe 12 connection much later on because this post is already so long but I want to say I do love it.)

Shin's only hope is that the apple tree that provides Kaioshins (not Glinds, different species but same family) will bear fruit that can succeed him but for now, he seems he is trapped in the position he was not prepared for and his loneliness as well. If Shin was a bit closer to the other kaioshins in the other universes, then it could help with his self and any guidance Shin could get from them, but it seems that is not the case. He would benefit from having a found family but mortals lives too short for his lifespan or nor there is any kaioshins at the moment and he is from a dying race.

It is a tragedy with no viable solutions at the moment.

About Whis and Daishinkan's relations after Merus, I agree to all of this and Daishinkan should be disappointed at Whis for this. I feel Daishinkan do understands that Merus' actions is his, Merus knew his wrongs but did it anyway. Daishinkan do acknowledge that Whis did not deliberately or encourage Merus directly to disobey the angelic laws as Merus had free will over his actions.

However, Whis did not set a good example for Merus to continue to obey the hierachy, in Daishinkan's eyes, Merus had lose sight of the big picture (the angelic laws and his angelic family) and Whis was neglectful not to guide or help his brother out of this. Whis not helping his brother who is part of his family out can be seen as callousness and cruelty among his angel children, it does not help that he did not overcome his pain and grief of losing 6 children prior the Merus incident, now he lost 7 children.

I say it is a bit worse with Merus because Merus is still alive but due to the angelic laws, Daishinkan can't see him after he dies or else that could be counted as "intervening and showing bias to the mortal matters". He can't even visit Merus, his son who is now a mortal, separated by the Angelic laws, I wonder if Daishinkan thought if it would be better if Merus stayed erased because not being near to his lost children do hurt him from time to time. Often times, he is haunted by his failure of not protecting his children from erasure (he been protecting his kids for example, the T.O.P saga)

Whis, what he should have done to spare his father from reviving those possibilities of losing an angel again is he should have brought Merus to the Grand Priest and expressed that if Merus continues with his training and mission with the Galactic Patrol that will cause his potential erasure then the Grand Priest would have made arrangements and put Merus in another universe and kept an eye on him. I do not completely understand Whis' intentions behind his equally confusing actions nor his callous reaction to Merus' erasure as if Whis blames everything on Merus alone, not acknowledging his own neglectful ways.

Probably Beerus thought it was Whis' family business and believed that Whis can handle this considering he still have strained relations with his brother Champa but I agree, Beerus should have done more but then again, he didn't deal with Moro. Hence he was later punished for not demanding Whis to stop Merus properly. I think Whis was not publicity punished by the Grand Priest because he don't want Whis to be treated badly potentially by Beerus because Beerus do have some authority over Whis, also Daishinkan wouldn't punish his children in public anyway, he rather do it in private. In that way, Daishinkan can keep his own feelings private so no one can predict him and he can remain neutral and professional.

But I do know that Whis and Daishinkan's relations will not the same, he would be really cold to Whis and will try to humble him down. I think Daishinkan will never see Whis when he is observing Merus in Universe 7 until Merus dies and even then, I could imagine Daishinkan not actively wanted to see Whis and talk less with him, only speak to Whis if necessary. He do hope that Whis can learn this lesson and change his approach in general and do have remorse on his actions (I believe Whis don't have any remorse what he did to Merus) however Daishinkan will never forget about this nor trust Whis with any trainee angels again. It is like Whis lost his favour from his father and his siblings can sense it and start to distance themselves from Whis because "if our Father (Daishinkan) don't like this person (Whis or anyone else at the moment), we will not upset Father to be close to that person."

Hello there, I hope you don't mind me asking two questions, you can ignore this ask if you don't want to answer it which is perfectly fine. If you want to change any angel-hakaishin pairing or angel-supreme kai pairing (different angel with different hakaishin or different angel with different supreme kai/kaioshin), who would it be? After the Merus incident, do you think Whis and Daishinkan's relationship is strained to what extent?

Angel - hakaishin-kaioshin. I've been thinking about this for a long time, and I have a little thought and headcanon for this part. It ties in with Camparri and his angelic goblin shark form, but I won't go into it too much.

It's more like I'm spouting off my headcanons in replies, but I'm too tired to think about it

Camparri supervised to oversee the 12th universe (whatever it was BEFORE the erasure of the other 6 universes) and all his hakaishin were water/sea monsters, perhaps he chose such creatures just for the sake of finding common ground with them and training them well in the abilities of the god of destruction. Jin, his last god he was familiar with, and he was his teacher before Zenon or Daishinkan conducted the change and replacement of angels in the universes and Camparri finds himself in universe 3, his place in universe 12 is taken by Martinu. ….Camparri, who may not have been in contact with high technology before, begins to slowly figure it out, and become interested. He and Air find common ground.

I have no thoughts on the rest of the kaioshin, they look like they belong where they belong.

The question is about Shin. The little dude is on the verge of a breakdown, he's tired physically and mentally. He needs a vacation as far away from his own universe as possible, or just step down as Kaioshin. After the death of his family, who divided the duties amongst themselves, with the main Kaioshin doing the main thing - creating life - Shin is not doing his job, he's alone, it would probably be easier if there was help from Old Kai, but he only hands out slaps and reads porn. One could imagine Shin returning to Makai for a meeting with Degesu and Arinsu to offer them to live with him in the outside world, but their refusal intensifies his mourning and bitterness .

He would step down as Kaioshin, but there's no one to replace him (regardless of the type of canon, how many Kaioshin are left)

Daishinkan sends Merus away for training

Whis comes to Daishinkan, clarifies about his brother, and asks him to give him up. For what? For training? I remember the pages where Vis interrupts Goku and Merus' training, takes him to Berus' planet, and from there they watch Goku and Moro fight. They literally do nothing and just watch. I don't understand what lesson Vis wanted to teach if he brushed off his brother by letting him disappear. Maybe I'm blind here and not seeing something important between the angels

With Berus, Whis was being manipulative. He sends Merus to Moro, but when he himself shows up with a hakaishin to observe on Earth, he creates leading visual questions and traps. Berus doesn't care about what's going on, but he doesn't want contact with Daishinkan. Why didn't Berus order Vis to stop Merus, since he knows about the angelic rules?

And when Merus disappears, Whis literally doesn't care about this “he was a stupid brother :(” thing. Dude, it's your ERROR AND FAULT!

And I think Daishinkan should be mad at Whis for losing his angelic offspring and sibling. He lost 6 of his children millions-billions of years ago, now he entrusts a new angel to another experienced angel, and loses him too. I hope Whis got some punishment for this, and not just Daishinkan smiling in his direction and saying “Merus disappeared as a space angel, but I turned him into a mortal”. Daishinkan should be feeling anger and frustration over Whis, fear at the loss of his younger angel. Perhaps he is experiencing this, but in a different emotional range. No more indulgences for Whis anytime soon, he will feel coldness from Father

After winthe 7th universe in the Tournament, Whis is acting too brazen and bold, I don't know what he was counting on in relation to what happened, that he would get away with it and Daishinkan would laugh at it?

[WIP] Dakkori - The Angel in Training!

With Merus now a mortal, another angel had the opportunity to live among mortals and learn about the universe they may serve in the future.

Dakkori is a young angel, similar to Merus. She is similar to her siblings of being amoral but finds mortals amusing. She enjoys mortal foods though her combinations would make chefs cringe and cry. (Who puts chocolate sauce on hot dogs...??)

She has been following the rules given of not interfering with mortal affairs and has been more taken this as a vacation. Her God of Destruction (in training) is Sogu. She's been active in Xeno!Trunk's timeline.
