I've been very into collecting monster high dolls lately, and I've repainted a few of them!!

I have learned so much from the first one (G3 gyaru lagoona) that I already kind of want to redo her lol. For G3 Lagoona I was inspired by manba/yamanba gyaru, a modern take on the substyle still with classic beachy motives, and I wanted to make her face look more fish-like than her factory face paint.

For G1 Lagoona I wanted to focus more on the bold black eyeliner and she is more mode gyaru inspired, with clothes from a Toralei fashion pack ^^

and for Draculaura, I just wanted to further emphasize the lolita style she's wearing in this version (which is one of my favorite dolls of hers by the way :] )

Saturday Coord for Katsucon

May 2022, I hosted an Easter-Egg Hunt event. I hand-painted 48 eggs, hid them outside, and gave prizes when they were brought back!

I made a fairly OTT and ridiculous coord for the event. I hand sewed the trims onto the garland sash, which took ages, but turned out great!

My 2024 Lolita resolutions !

Happy new year ! I hope that everyone’s year will be filled with a lot of good things ! For me i took time to write some of my lolitas resolutions for the year ! Do not hesitate to reblog this while quoting your own resolutions i would love to see everyone’s goals ! ♡

Get some long sleeved OP, i really want to make comfy coords

Get brands like : Heart E, Anna house, Cornet, i really love this type of small old school brands, i already have a 2007 Heart E jsk but i want more from this brand, the designs are so cute !

Buy colorful blouses (pink and yellow) i would have more coords options

Buy more jewerly

Invest in a good coat

Focus more on dream items and useful items (solid headbows for example) than buying items that are not on my wishlist

As said above i would like to have more solid headbows (i would love to get the Cameron headbow by BTSSB in white and pink) and full old school bonnets in the same colorways !

Organizing my pinterest boards, it’s a mess

Doing an arcade meet with my friends, i really want to play Dance Dance Revolution !

Be less scared of ordering out of Europe (CUSTOMS ARE MY NIGHTMARE OK)

What is the difference between a fairy kei and a decololi?

There are actually very different. Fairy Kei is it’s own fashion and while a lot of Lolitas are also interested in it, it is not Lolita. There are a lot of different ways to wear Fairy Kei be it with a fluffy skirt, flowy dress, shorts, etc. but the overlook is very cute, very pastel, and usually takes inspiration from the 1980s, a lot of the time including characters like Care Bears, My Little Pony, etc. Here is a great Fairy Kei guide.Deco-Loli is short for “Decora Lolita” which as the name would suggest is a combination of Decora and Lolita. Decora is often much more vibrant than Fairy Kei and tends to focus more on wearing a lot of accessories than anything else. Being that Deco-Loli is still first and foremost Lolita though it still follows the basic Lolita guidelines.

I was really in the mood for old school deco lolita! I love the red-pink combo coords used to have! I wish I had more accessories like bracelets, necklaces, and brooches to wear with this, but I love how my hair clips turned out!!~

i never get to talk about lolita stuff because i lost interest due to the whole, not having money, thing, and also how awful some of the community is, but While Im Here...

classic lolita is my favorite subtype. my favorite prints & dream dresses are the ones with like renaissance paintings on them. i love the soft neutral colors and the feeling of being something from the past. obviously i like gothic and sweet lolita too but just not as much because they’re not as graphic for me and don’t appeal as much for some reason

i’m not picky though, because my favorite part about the fashion is the silhouette. i’ve always been in love with pseudo-hourglass shapes my whole life, i love that there’s a whole fashion surrounded around looking super fucking ridiculously poofy all the time. though to be honest i kind of prefer JSKs over OPs because i like being able to layer a blouse underneath. there’s a lot of delicate decisions that go into it

Tomoe Shinohara

El termino Decora  girl aparece al principio en los 90’s con los fans de la cantante idol Tomoe Shinohara, quién usaba muchos accesorios y ropas de colores llamativos. En ese tiempo los fans se hacían llamar ‘shinorer’, haciendo alusión al apellido de la cantante antes mencionada, pero luego de que su popularidad cayera lo mismo pasó con sus seguidores y la tendencia. Cuando resurgió en 2004, el nombre cambió a 'decora’, y eran llamados también 'decorer’.

Dentro de el “Decora” hay variaciones;

DecoLoli; Son las lolitas versión Decora con sus recargados accesorios.

Pink Decora; El más popular y común, que es vestir de blanco y rosa, entre sus accesorios se ven siempre las cosas como llaveros, colgantes, aros, broches o colets de pastelitos, heladitos, fresas o cosas muy azucaradas.

Dark Decora; Ropa oscura, generalmente la gama de colores es negro y blanco y con accesorios “Hallowen” calaveras, murciélagos, cruces etc.

Cute Decorer; Ropa de una alta gama de colores, suelen llevar tutus.

Rainbow Decorer; Este es un decora excesivo, cuanto más accesorios y colores tengas mejor ¡y el pelo de arcoiris!

Pastel Decora o FairyDeco; La versión de colores pastel.

Cyber Decora; Versión ciber con dreads.

El pelo de colores, generalmente pelucas o postizos, camisetas de tirantes,abrigos de colores generalmente rosa y blanco, faldas y medias con calcetines altos, antiguamente se llevaban muchas capas aunque hoy en día menos, se puso de moda, aunque es opcional las mascarillas y como no muchos clips para el pelo, pulseras, collares y anillos. También hay decoras temáticas de personajes como decoras centradas en Stitch (de lilo y Stitch) por ejemplo.

Aquí en España puedes encontraras accesorios en tiendas como el claire´s, en “tiendas del todo a cien” puedes encontrar tanto clips para el cabello como calcetines de colores y tiendas alternativas.
