Fully matured hennagua stain. And last but certainly not least we have our lovely model @tea_lady2020 modeling our Henna/Jagua blend. It’s a very interesting hybrid indeed! It leaves behind a maroon to almost black colored stain naturally with no synthetic dyes of harsh chemicals. The third and final model of the bunch! We did hennagua or hengua for this model. And for those of you that are not familiar with it, it is a hybrid of Henna and Jagua. It leaves behind maroon to almost black stain on most individuals. First up for stain pics is our darling Hanna sporting a fully matured Jagua stain. This design was made using Jagua gel only. On it’s own, Jagua leaves behind a navy blue stain naturally using the juice from the Jagua fruit. It takes 24 to 48 hours for the stain to mature. 🌸 🌸 One of my favorite things about Jagua is that it’s like the opposite of disappearing ink! A lot of times when you first take of the dried gel, you’ll see a faint stain at first. But as each hour passes you’ll see it becoming dark and darker. And I love the cooler tone that it brings. We had so much fun with this shoot! Trying to get back into straight Jagua gel... After working solely with Jagua mixed in with Henna, dealing with Jagua gel after all these years was kinda different lol. Anytime you change up the medium, you’ll have to also change up the application of said medium. 🤔 😅 ✅ 👍🏽 But with that said, I had fun finding my flow with Jagua gel again! I did this design partially using the Genipen from @jaguaink I also used their Jagua gel powder. A cool little Jagua concept that I was playing with today 🙌🏽😄 What fo you think? 🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔 I love how Jagua is on the opposite side of the spectrum to henna. Where henna is more of a warm tone with a reddish brown color... Jagua is more of a cool tone with a navy blue color (sometimes even close to a bluish black color on some). I also love how when you first remove Jagua it is really light and then every hour after that it darkens up more and more. Last year while at HennaCon, they had a pop up class for learning Zentangle patterns. It was really cool and so satisfying to do😁 I really got caught up in it all and didn’t want the class to end. One pattern really stuck with me and it was this pattern right here in the middle of this design and I believe it is called ‘Paradox’. Ever since I first seen it I wanted to incorporate it into a design. Finally got around to it lol. 🙌🏽 🙌🏽 🙌🏽 This is another #hennaglam design. I really had fun with it.
