She’s not shy at all in talking about how she feels.

It’s like I said. As soon as she was comfortable with coming out and referring to Nicole as her girlfriend, there was absolutely no shame in talking about her. The only reason why she changed the ending of that sentence was to save the embarrassment for Charlie.

It’s genuinely upsetting that she doesn’t see herself that way though. I mean Nicole might be all of those things but she isn’t supernatural. Whereas Waverly is. And at this very moment she has no clue whatsoever that she’s actually talking to the reason why she is.

Kinda wished they did more with Charlie/Julian. It’s like I’ve said before about Champ - ‘Wynonna Earp’ might be exceptional at women-led and WLW characterization and representation but they really do leave the male characters in the dust. And I feel like the reason why that is is because they want to keep giving the counterpoints to the women. I don’t object to that but feminism is about equality, not which gender identity is superior or deserves better treatment. Maybe they don’t intend that but it does feel that way to me with how much the male characters that are not main get shafted every now and again. Charlie/Julian served his purpose in the narrative and then he just immediately gets killed off. But I think there was so much more potential for him to stick if they were going down this route of him being Waverly’s biological father. It’s was a good idea to have him as a love interest for Wynonna and then have the twist of him being Waverly’s dad all along but that’s really only if they could keep him around and they could develop on the relationship between them.

But at least we got this little moment. I’m grateful for it despite the way I feel about killing him off so quickly once there was the reveal. It’s a lovely little moment and Waverly can’t respond with “you have to say that ‘cause you’re my dad” because she doesn’t know yet.

So that validation of her ability really hits with her. Oh man,… why do I always fall for the female characters that are the underdogs with major self-esteem issues?

It’s really getting to be a pattern by now you guys.

Also it’s not often that I fall in love with both characters in the WLW ship. This may be the first.

Waverly’s like the Gabrielle of ‘Wynonna Earp’.

Everybody loves her but she only loves Nicole/Xena. And she’s the only character that doesn’t get why and that’s always fun to play around with for those characters because it just makes them more lovable.

The Predator

Basics

The Predator is a large quadrupedal slugcat. She is an evolved species, having develooed a lure on her tail in the shape of a slugcat's head. This lure is dangled off ledges to attract large creatures such as lizards and vultures. Predator is borderline feral, only living to hunt and survive. They have no purpose, simply being a part of the ecosystem.

Abilities

-can hang her tail down to attract lizards. Although she has to be quick to pull her prey towards her to maul in order to prevent herself from getting killed

-they have more health, and they are faster and stronger than normal slugcats

-they cannot use spears, preferring to maul and claw at prey

Sasusakusara is the most garbage ship with a cuckhold plot as their introduction, why support that garabage which literally ruined sasuke whole character develooment from the start and introduced to the new most useless uchiha of the clan.

I agree honestly with how the series went Sasuke being with Sakura just simply doesn't work. Sakura's feelings for him have always been one sided and fact is they have had more negative impact on her then positive.

As where Sarada she inherited many aspects of Sakura's character that I hated for good reason.

while I am amused by this but also left me wondering if people actually preferred Ania had the kid with Marr. (even though the characters in my verse thought Naomi was Marr's kid too) 😅

anyways, wouldn't work with what I got because of timeline wise and what I have brainstormed so far. plus, I rather Naomi was 5 or 6 years old when Forged Alliances start.

if Ania didnt get pregnant or have Naomi, then her and Marr would live childfree life much like Jazz and Tau. But me wanted to make them different as wlw ship, you know.

or if people prefer Ania and Marr have a kid, the develooment would have to be changed up within timeline where she might be potentially get pregnant before (or during) Mind Trap chapter.

another problem to Ania and Marr having a child was the lack of zabrak horn ccs for children and toddlers unfortunately.

so it's better for Ania having a kid with Jadus and Marr going through Found Family trope.

if anything i wish i could have written more for hazel and frank, and to some extent leo! im pretty happy with the way i wrote everyone else, but i do feel like i could have gone a little deeper with these three. wcwsthwas centers around percy and annabeth, which is what i originally wanted, but i dont wanna sacrifice the develooment and storylines of any of the other characters, since i love them too.

i also intended for percy to stay on ogygia longer like in canon and for calypso to actually begin to fall for him, but i scrapped that pretty quick. i also have a version with no calypso at all, but i needed percy to nearly die after the volcano and get separated from the others.

i cant say too much now, but i did intend to kill off one extra character, but then i found that i actually liked their arc better with them staying alive.

i'll try to think of others but i dont think there are too many, and i have the epilogue chapters to really give every character a proper end! i was lucky enough that when i started thinking of this fic i wrote down every POV chapter and the events that take place in it, and other than the order not much else has changed.

The Darkness

It's been so long that I heard from that franchise. I remember how I liked to watch 'Let's Plays' to it. Especially I loved to draw the two Darkness heads and sometimes even apply them to other characters like my own or from other fandoms.

I really miss it a lot. It is pretty edgy but I love it regardless. Now I'm thinking about to find the first volume of the comic, maybe also rewatching Let's Plays to The Darkness. A little nostalgia trip :3

Late night dramatic develooment re. our mother. Via sister so you know it was bad because she broke our radio silence to tell me. She seemed genuinely angry and upset so I guess I should be happy she came to me anyway in that vulnerable state and feels comfortable enough with me still to share like that. I felt really hopeless with the news. As per, our mother has made a sudden change in mental health treatment under the assumption she's totally fine now. Que cera cera. That's what I'm telling myself when I feel the usual ratcheting up of anxiety, of what if she has another downturn, which is usually what I feel right before I'm proved right in some unpleasant fashion. It must be terrible for her as a person to be in this awful cycle, but as a family member I feel resentment for also being dragged along. At least when she gets unwell again as a result of sacking off treatment, she can know it was her risk to run and she had some control over it. I truly have no control at all over the situation and never will. Her health doesn't happen to her the same way it happens to others. She could do some things to help herself, but doesn't. The only way it isn't agony is by not caring as much. If that's a tragedy for her, it's also a tragedy for other people. She might wish she was closer to her children. And I wish my mother wasn't doing the mental health equivalent of throwing herself off a cliff, but you can't have everything can you... my sister was angrier than me then but I think my anger has found its voice now! I am doing the right thing by continuing the distance. I can care about my parent and want the best for her, but I am not obligated to make myself sick with worry and stress trying to force her to do the sensible thing.

I've long been a proponent of this. There are so few women characters who are fully-develooed characters AND ALSO moms in media. You don't stop being a person when you become a mom. Your priorities shift, you have less time for yourself (especially when the kids are small), but you're still YOU.

I'm not a badass, but I'm *definitely* not "lame" or a "loser" and I have enough personality for three goddamn people. I didn't turn into some faceless blank after I had a kid and I'm sick of motherhood being portrayed as such.

It's so so important to show badass female characters being moms. It's important to write intelligent cool female characters with deep inner lives also being good parents to their kids. It's actually essential to the future of our society, I think.

Because when people either a.) write mothers as only there to play supporting character to the kid, or b.) write badass women only choosing to be childless, it sends the message that being a mom is for lame loser women who don't have or deserve personalities and lives. And who would want to be that?

And it's not impossible. We do it all the time for men, male characters frequently get to be awesome and also be dads. There's even a whole trope about Badass Dads raising Badass Kids while they trek across the post-apocalypse or whatever. Why can't we give women the same treatment?
