luffy does not move naturally like human bodies do, he's completely made of rubber all the time, he has to constantly adjust muscle strength/tension so his arms don't do the stretch-and-snap-back with every quicker gesture or so his leg bones don't bend slightly when standing, and it took a long time to relearn dexterity for things like writing or other fine movements
as a result of this seaprism stone and sea water affects him more than the average devil fruit user - in addition to the usual inability to use powers and sapping energy, it also makes him way more clumsy, moving in general becomes difficult, and he can accidentally sprain or dislocate his joints really easily (which is virtually impossible under normal circumstances)
We should talk wayyyy more about what this means for Luffy. I always feel genuinely bad whenever he's affected by sea water because it feels, like, extremely painful. More than normal. Not even just tiring. And I'm sure he had a rough time when he was young getting used to his new body. At least it happened when he was young and now he has control over it (more or less) but imagine how scary it had to be for the kid sometimes.
so much for 'chapter 3 is going to be so much shorter' (shoutout second wind yay) but god now im like. do i have to rewatch some of wci for this...i dont want to...
This Kahlua cake is simple to make with devil's food mix, pudding mix, Kahlua, and orange zest. Dust it with powdered sugar for a simple, but elegant look.
memo memo is a cool fruit that gives cool powers but also don't be mistaken, pudding was fed it because she needed it to follow through with her mother's plan. the only powers she wasn't forced to have are the ones that will naturally come when her third eye awakens, and i genuinely find it so ironic that she's having such a hard time to obtain them - three eyed tribe believes you have to go through a certain process and it's so obvious pudding never bothered with it
