I decided to do a redraw of Dib and Gaz, as teenagers in my membrain AU

It occured to me, if the invader Zim timeline matched ours, Dib would be around 30.

I would love a Zim story where Zim happens to come across an adult Dib some way. Zim is in some new chaotic mess, but has lost interest in taking over the earth. He and he/ Dib finally conversate as non-enemies, though they quip ALOT. Dib is also psyched to introduce his son, and prove to him he wasn't making up the crazy stories about his childhood.

Irkens age much slower, I recall, so Zim doesn't look much different. Maybe worn out and a little chubbier from stress eating.

I could really go on and on, but no time.

So glad for the reboot. ^^

Ok so looks like Invader Zim is getting popular again and while I don't personally plan on getting into it there are a few things that people ignored back in the day that shouldn't have been and shouldn't be.

Gaz and Dib are literal 12 year old children. Don't sexualize them.

Gaz, Dib, and their dad are pale but still very much Mexican and not white. Apparently the movie darkened their skin a little to make that more obvious so use the movie as a reference point rather then the show maybe.

Zim is "older then the human race" or something like that according to Vasquez but I remember there being a whole thing about human years vs irken years vs species developmental age so I guess that's up in the water still until someone says something official. A bit sketch though just saying.

Membrain (IZ futuristic/spin off AU):

Dib & Gaz

I thought of making a futuristic spin off, with Dib as the main character. "Membrain AU" takes place after the events of the movie "Enter the Florpus".

Zim will not appear (at least not soon) in this AU, since he had to return to his planet to choose the new leaders of his clan and organize for new laws.

(I'll bring more details in the future)
