Not only did we have a free Faruzan and a Ganyu banner in 3.6, but 3.7 brought the Ibis Piercer bow in the event and the third Yoimiya banner since this account began. Which of these banners will prove fruitful? Will we get Ganyu? Will Yoimiya finally come home after dodging us twice? Let’s find out...

First thing’s first, finally did the ascension quest! It brought us up to world level 7 and AR 52-- but nearly 53.

and of course, it didn’t take much longer to actually reach 53...

After this, I did something I haven’t done on this account in a long time... I actually played the Archon quest.

I scrambled to get that event done in a single day... and in 3.7, the King of Invocations event was the same. tbh I was pretty burnt out w/ genshin for a while, I probably would have skipped the 3.7 event entirely if it weren’t for the fact that it gave a bow. I didn’t even bother to screenshot it cause it was late and I forgor. I did get it tho. It’ll be a nice Tighnari weapon when we get him.

And of course, given my pity was reset when I got Ganyu and I wasn’t playing much, it should come as no surprise that... yeah, I didn’t get Yoimiya on her banner. I did get her somewhere else, though!

Now, 4.0′s coming up, and we’ve got both Yelan and Lyney to go for... I’m going to pull for Yelan first, but should we manage to get her I’ll pull for Lyney after! Also fun fact! I’ve been trying to post this update for literal weeks, but I was experiencing some uhhh. technical difficulties

See, the post editor on web doesn’t let me add alt text. Everywhere on the internet says that there should be an icon with three dots you can click to add the alt text but there. is not. It doesn’t matter if I hover over or click the image, it doesn’t change, there is no icon to click on the image anywhere. But that was fine because it still worked just fine on mobile! So what I’d do for previous posts in this series is make the first draft of the post on web (because that’s where all the screenshots are), save, and then go back and edit the draft on mobile, adding alt text IDs then.

And here’s where the problem arises: recently, for no apparent reason, I can no longer edit or post drafts on Tumblr mobile. I can view my drafts. I can open them. I can change things. But no matter if I hit save changes or post now or anything else, Tumblr then experiences an error, it doesn’t post, and none of my changes are saved. It just goes back in my drafts the way it was before I edited it.

So, if I can’t edit drafts on mobile, I’ll have to do it on web. I quickly tested to make sure it worked, and it did! But I still. can’t add alt text in the tumblr post editor.

Until I had the idea to add alt text not through the post editor but through the Inspect element! Once again, I tested it out and it seemed to work. Adding alt text through the inspect element on web and then saving caused that alt text to show up when viewing the draft on another device! So, I finally was able to finish the post! Literally the day Fontaine drops!

I’m thinking of liveblogging my Yelan pulls. Which will be in like half an hour lol. So! Stay tuned for that!

my old old simblr was a sideblog but it had like 1 follower and it literally a bot so i don’t think that counts. i have a multifandom sideblog though 

10. do you have a cc finds blog? i wish. i was thinking bout it earlier and that would be sooo neat but sometimes i download stuff that doesn’t have a tumblr post attached to it, and also it’s stressful to keep up with so nah

13. if you have c&d, do you play with pets? i feel like i haven’t played with cats and dogs in forever. honestly i just have no paitence. noelle fae was supposed to get a cat (there’s a food bowl + cat bed in her house) but when summer vacation started, the amount of time i spent playing ts4 decreased a lot. (this doesn’t really make sense, i have a lot more time. honestly it just has to do with my recent obsession with a certain anime/manga and some other personal thing)

i did random nightmares in may though and i had pets frequently. g5 didn’t because sofia scarlett lived in an apartment, but g2/3/4 had cici, and g1 had all the cats. but that was back in march so it’s been a while.

14. what lifespan do you use? i really want to do aging off but then i feel like it drags on. but aging legit stresses me out, sometimes i just want to sit down and do some cas stuff but i only have 2 hours in real time and there’s like 4 days left till one of my sims’ birthdays. 

15. if you own a lot of packs, how many of them have you actually played through? just so everyone is aware this question was made for me

i feel like eps require a specific save made for testing them out, but the only save i’ve ever made for an ep is noelle fae’s get famous save. 

that is literally a lie - i made a save for island living with one of my 100bc kids, maisie acapella. i did actually post it on tumblr BUT then i deleted all the posts BUT i reblogged them on my alt account BUT i privated my alt account so i honestly forgot about it

i have never played through discover university or watched anyone do it on youtube, i’ve read gerbits’ story about it so i think i’m pretty qualified. i’ve always wanted to do one with periwinkle acapella but i never got around to it

another ep i know nothing about is get to work

i tried doing a eco life playthrough but i hadn’t watched any videos and i was like..what is going on. so i quit lolx d ;;;;; i mentioned it but the whimsy stories legacy was the first time i had played with the eco lifestyle features so technically i think i know what im doing

i got outdoor retreat literally on monday of this week so i haven’t played through it yet. 

jungle adventure i still don’t know what’s going on. i remember last year before i bought the pack i was brainstorming, and wanted to do a ja playthrough with luna and cedar, who are a couple who i did a random legacy with and it was all queued to post when i deleted everything (if you’re wondering why, it’s because my queue was literally 200+ posts). except this time i didn’t save them to my sideblog so i lost them.

city living i did through psc stage 5 and also it was the first pack i bought anyways

the rest of them are either stuff packs or i ended up playing them through casual gameplay (seasons, parenthood)

16. what do you do as you play sims? (ex. listen to music) i listen to music most of the time, or listen to commentary youtube videos because i am an alpha chad. i also used to talk with my friends on voice call but i don’t do that anymore 🥲

i feel like im forgetting some.. honestly most of the stuff i did before simblr was either 100 baby (i love that challenge) or random saves that lasted for 2 seconds. 

18. do you like the new(ish) hair swatches? nah. 

i do appreciate that most cc hairs have a true (ish) black, thank god! and the fact that the hair update is what inspired me to update and fix a bunch of hairs with different issues is pretty nice. but will i use them? no. 

plus it takes up like 5 gb? depending on how many packs you have.

noelle is blonde and has blue-grey eyes. she wears purple contacts pretty often though (because she wants to 😌)

alari has light brown hair that is kinda curly, and she’s got pretty vibrant blue eyes. 

they’re sisters, alari is 3 years older than noelle. noelle was 19 and alari was 22 when they got spotted

they worked as models when they were young adults. their jobs involved dyeing their hair blue/pink, and they would model like clothes and stuff. anyways, they were pretty successful. like not ultra famous but they had enough money to not work for the rest of their lives. 

their modeling group was made of 4 girls, the others were named paisley autumn and they were green and red, respectively. some things are: 

paisley and alari started dating during this 

autumn was a single mother to a little girl named destiny

noelle dated many people during this but never ended up finding the one <3

when their contract ended after like 6 years, paisley and alari went to go live together and noelle decided to get into acting. so thats when get famous playthrough started!

22. if you use cc, are there any cc creators that you have like ALL of their items? this is such a good question! i hoard hair very heavily (my folder is 11gb) i so i have like 97% from most of the popular hair creators. 

i think i had legitimately EVERYTHING from simstrouble though, i went through multiple times to check and i also have all of her retired stuff. 

i have everything from ridgeport i think-? because of the fact that she uploaded all her stuff in one big zip. 

i think that’s it.. for a long time i also had everything by clumsyalienn, but then i ended up deleting it and only keeping my faves.

ok well sorry if this is long but it’s A Story for sure

this was back when i was still kinda edgy and didn’t like feminism (i still don’t ID as a feminist now for personal but i agree that it’s Good) and, edgy little fuck that i was, when we were told we could write a faux-essay about any topic we wanted i wrote about sexism against men - luckily i was kind of coming out of my dickface phase so it wasn’t full of like WOMEN R FUCKING EVIL TO MEN WEHHHH it was, tbh, not a bad essay at all! at one point i mentioned something about how mainstream feminism could be seen as vilifying men or smth (which ofc is wrong but again, 17 year old edgelord)

my media teacher was a staunch feminist and would frequently let us know this, loudly, which i didn’t have a problem with per-say but i did find it annoying since at the time i was being flooded with faux-alt-right anti-sjw teachings on the internet like 24/7, and i kiiiinda wanted an excuse to pick a fight with her (although this story honestly 100% has her in the wrong and me just... being a 17 year old), so when i was writing this essay and i knew she would have to read it i was wondering whether or not she’d say smth. so we’re all sat on the computers typing our essays, my friend next 2 me is writing something about kpop, etc. media teacher who i’ll from now on refer to as P comes over and is like “oh. why on earth are you writing about that?”

so i explain that sexism against men blah blah who cares, and she tuts and says “so i assume you don’t call yourself a feminist?” with this rlly incredulous look on her face. and i say “well no, for my own reasons i don’t”. now, keep in mind that this teacher also knew that i was trans, gay and autistic. she then shook her head and laughed and said “you’re only saying that because of how privileged you are” and i got kinda mad lol, considering that (apart from being white, which she also was) i was def. not privileged, and explained this to her - also bitch i’m not gonna out myself in front of the whole class just to remind you that i’m not exactly what most would consider “privileged”

so i said smth about how it was rude of her to assume that, because i didn’t have the same opinion as her, i was somehow better off than her, and i remember saying “to be honest, miss, you don’t know jack about me or my life to say that”. she backed up like IMMEDIATELY and stood at her desk which was probs like another metre of so away, and her hand starts shaking. i was a lil mad at this point but i was still sat down and honestly not... rlly worked up at all. she quietly said “okay...” and sat down to read some paperwork or smth

the class kinda quietly talked amongst themselves because oh gosh i sassed a teacher etc etc, and then i heard a voice say my name and it was P again! and she goes “excuse me, [deadname], you need to leave” - i said umm pardon like... i’m still writing my damn essay lol. she goes “can you please work in another computer room? i just can’t have you in here right now”. so me, very annoyed by this lol, i just went “um no? i’m gonna sit here and finish my essay, you don’t have to talk to me if you don’t want to” (which probs didn’t help), she starts tearing up and says “you’re making me feel very frightened right now - you need to leave. now.” 

looking back on it, i would be honest if i was actually being aggressive but if ya’ll know me u know i talk a lot of shit but i’m not an aggressive person at all when it comes down to it, so i ended up getting REAL mad that she was treating me like some kinda animal, so i said (oh-so delicately, as a 17 year old is wont to do), “fine fuck you” and went out at which pointed i walked rrrrrrrright on home and refused to come in for like 4 days lol. my mum ended up getting the school involved and they got P in with some of our head of years & higher up staff to give me a proper apology and stuff, during which she was just kind of staring blankly thru me but she did apologise so we were like aight it’s all good!

but then when i walked into class the next day she ended up leaving halfway through and just didn’t come back so we were like uhhh. ok. and we visited the teacher next-door who we all got along with like “hey miss where tf did P go” and she was like “umm P’s just having a rough time rn don’t worry and just continue with your exam stuff”, and then P didn’t come back for like 2.5-3 months! when she did she was fucking.... idk the word. like, basically drugged up lol and smiling all the time and didn’t mark any of our work bc she was like “it’s okay, you’ll all do great anyway, i don’t need to read it :)” and singing all the time, and when one of the other asshole kids was like “hey miss wtf is up w you” she just said “i’m on a lot of medication right now”

so not SPECIFICALLY I caused her to have a mental breakdown, but i was definitely the straw that broke the camels back lmao

ive been so focused on shinee i havent even been paying Attention to much of anyone else tbH but uhnngfmm……probably spica! i love spica theyre so amazingly talented with such strong unique voices and catchy songs and cool concepts ughhhhhgh

alot of things tbh! it really varied like id listen to pop music from growing up like britney and nsync and destinys child and stuff but also more current faves like janelle monae and nicki minaj, stuff from my parents/also growing up like earth wind and fire and alot of jazz bc im a jazz pianist and also cause of my parents, and then stuff from shows/movies/etc that i liked! so alot of night vale weather and character songs and soundtracks n stuff like that. i think my favorite song before taemin’s danger came out in 2014 and dragged me back into the kpop hell pit was absentee by jack campbell 

20: how did you get into kpop?

oh man heres a fuckign STORYso my parents both worked alot most of my life (and still do) so as a kid i generally hung out with my friends’ families more than my own to be honest. so my two main best friends for the longest time were both korean and so as early as like… idk age 10 or 11 i was already kinda in the know more or less abt it and soaked up a bit of basic korean culture and media from them! and also i took korean at an after school organization thing in my town from age 7-12 and then took tutoring for a while but then quit bc i was too busy. so like i was 11 and being Laughed at by my friend bc i could never do the dance to roly poly by tara right. so my first favorite kpop group was the wonder girls (rip :( ;;;) back in maybe 2011? maybe earlier than that actually. and like besides them i knew abt shinee and super junior and kara and tara pretty much. but then my best friend (at the time and for most of my life up until around 8th grade) got REALLY into shinee. n so for a few years i sucked up random knowledge from her whilst in my gross weaboo phase just kinda like……lowkey…so i actually called myself a shawol in 2012 because i knew so much abt the group already and i liked a few songs particularly (JOJO. i fuckign LOVED jojo) and i even watched the first ep of hello bABY back then. (and i really loved those studpid....ayominho parody vids...like idk if u know like...hell no....and our contract is the lucifer....god) and so i was like……lowkey into kpop by then just as a side effect of being friends w/ this person. so then i went thru like a billion phases with that knowledge quietly in the background (7th grade: like every anime i could get my greasy little hands on, 8th grade: fucking hetalia, supernatural and dr who and a few animes and welcome to night vale and then my friend got into exo and i wasnt With It, 9th grade: supernatural, dr who, hetalia, wtnv, and then the RAPTURE OCCURED)so in early ninth grade i started getting into kpop again like For Real (2014) and it was all the fault of lee fucking taemin and cnblue. at first i was like haha thats kinda cheesy and dumb. boybands r dumb lol i h8 pop music! bc i was kind of in the alt rock crowd trying to blend in with them because they were cooler than me and of course i was lying to myself because ive liked cheesy bubblegum pop all my got damn life. so i only listened to ftisland and cnblue because they were k-ROCK not POP right. ok so i was super into cnblue and i dont regret that at all i love them Alot i loved lee jonghyun so much. and i think after that i started going thru like every shinee mv ever because of nostalgia from my friend and seventh grade adn all that? and i was like ok what the fuck. because the last time id really seen taemin he was like a Baby in 2012 and 2013 to me and so i watched the danger mv and 1- it was immediately my favorite song. and 2- i was like ok what the fuck hes Grown Up Now how long have i been Asleep. so then i got into shinee and quickly became a diehard shawol (and then got sorta into vixx and bts i think) rather than any other group and i think at first i was really interested in 2min and i was a taemin stan and then a jinki stan. (and i just looked in my archive and i can Tell that the day i officially became a True Official Diehard shawol was january 28th 2015 and i really fuckign loved 2min alot and i mean i still do but holy shit thats all i posted for a while hence my username) so yeah theres an extremely pointless overcomplicated answer for u??? jesus im sorry
