Used my beets from @seattlefarmersmkts to make @archivesix’s “Glorifying O-BEET-Sity” Salad from #dinnerrollzzine. Spent a sunny weekend in Seaview with my partner and their dad and stepmom a couple weeks ago. The place we rented had a full kitchen! I had mentioned body-positivity during a conversation and Robin’s parents had just read my piece on body image/eating disorders in @comestiblejournal issue 7, so Robin and I loaned them a copy of Dinner Rollz by @songfromabox and @archivesix for further reading/another perspective.* Then we made the “Thunder (Chicken) Thighs with Balsamic Glaze” from that zine, which is A+.
