Random little ideas, snippets, scenarios, whatever you call them for N in Dinotrux.

Probably the first creature to not make bad assumptions of Ty because he was a t-trux. In fact, he could have been the one to approach Ty first because he got curious about this dinosaur thing and wanted to get a closer look.

I’m thinking one of the trux tried getting N to roar because they wanted to know what it sounds like, but murder drones don’t roar like they do. A murder drone’s roar sounds a bit like someone screaming in pain or terror, or maybe they howl, or they just don’t make those kinds of noises and just cheer or shout.

The reptools freaked him out a little because they expected to be able to climb inside him. Not only was there no way to enter without hurting him or causing him discomfort, but the thought of them crawling around inside him really made him uncomfortable. Not to mention there’d be no room for them anyways.

He can’t keep up with the trux when they’re going really fast on foot, but with his wings, he’s faster than all of them. It just makes sense to me. When they go slow or normal, N can walk or run.

N likes to pat them on the head sometimes.

N 100% tries to help Click-Clack calm down when he freaks out more than usual. One example is when Click-Clack’s panic room was broken, he took his hat off and set it down as a temporary solution until it was fixed, with it propped up by a bolt so it wouldn’t get too dark.

Being the only one with hair, some of the crew, especially the tortools, like to climb onto N’s head. And yes, he does his best to keep it clean.

I bet N would love to help out with builds, but he can’t because of the sunlight. So unless it’s really cloudy, cold, or nighttime, he sadly can’t help out and feels bad about it.

I’d love to see N helping them fight D-Structs. Especially if he looked outside and saw D-Structs attacking them, he’d go from 0 to 100 real quick.

N probably hunts down scraptors and scrapodactyls for their oil.

Ace would use his tail as a jumping rope and N would probably let her, as long as she didn’t touch it. Everyone figured out pretty quickly it was a stinger, so this was no problem.

OKAY SO I’ve been thinking about Dinotrux again and I wanted to talk to about the T. trux a little bit bc I’m a palaeontology student ❤️

okay so like, when I first watched the show I always wondered why they were so feared when they never seem to do much 😭 like, in the crater things never even seemed too bad w/ just D-Structs, it only got like super evil when his brother showed up, but at the same time they are the villains of a kids show, they are supposed to pull shit like this, it only really seemed to draw from the fact that T.rexes were probably apex predators in real life

Besides the anger issues that seem prevalent in our main trux I don’t want to go right ahead and say that’s our main problem bc 4 T. trux in the entire series isn’t a big sample pool, so looking back at their real world counterpart I think they might be feared sm bc T.rexes are generally considered opportunistic, both a predator and a scavenger, in the very beginning of the show Ty rolls into and literally just takes some food bc people got scared away by him just existing 😭 so like, it’s clearly happened before

then later on when D-Structs and D-Stroy take control of the crater they had a tendency to steal ore than find it themselves, so the fact that they’re opportunistic seems likely, and large territory battles between them probably scares a lot of bystanders too, which helps fear spread when people tell stories

If I am so bold to lean into headcannon territory, I think it would be fun if they were probably still predators in some way, like, we have the scrap animals that eat dinotrux, and since T.trux already prove to have opportunistic tendencies, who’s to say they haven’t decided to tear into a carcass? Besides, if some of them decide to eat other species that also helps their fearsome reputation spread but again, this is all head cannon that I like to apply whenever I think of them 😭

What’s my favorite character in Dinotrux?

Blayde! SHE IS SO COOL AND HER DESIGN LOOKS SO AMAZING!! LIKE I LOVE SHE IS GIRLBOSS CHARACTER AND SMART LIKE THE BOOTY TRAPS IN HER CAVE, THE WAY SHE FOOLED THE DINOTRUX INTO THINKING THAT GEORGE WAS IN HER CAVE BUT WASNT, AND HAVING A BACKSTORY!!

However, she was done dirty in the show. Same thing with Pounder and Spittor. I wish we get to see them again.

I do have some negatives about Blayde. D-Structs is the reason that she was evil in the first place! No because D-Structs attack Dozer and Blayde’s herd. HE LITERALLY TOOK AND DESTROYED EVERYTHING THAT THEY HAD. I would understand Blayde would have a revenge arc but instead, she just bullies other dinotrux. I don’t understand why she did that instead. Not only that, SHE JOINED THE SAME PERSON(D-STRUCTS) WHO LITERALLY TOOK EVERYTHING AWAY FROM HER!! Maybe D-Structs manipulated her to join his side or Blayde would backstabbed D-Structs in the end but no, it didn’t happen.

I wish they give Blayde more character development.. I love her. Also I feel like Blayde and Knock-It would be besties because they hate D-Structs. Also they would be unstoppable together. Same thing for Blayde and Pounder.. They are cool as besties too.

Ok, so I feel like I need to talk about that, so...

The names for the dinotrux are on average different.

Dozer, Skya, Waldo, Click-Clack, Ton-Ton and D-Structs all have the same name.

Now, for the translations.

Ty Rux become Tim Rex, I love that they translated the pun to make it work in french too.

Revvit becomes Zoutils, which is basically Z+Tools. (Outils=Tools)

Ace becomes Cléa, so basically they made a pun, I guess, with her name. Like her name in French is basically: Wrench+a. (Key+a if you really want to go on the specific)

Garby becomes Débrice. I have no idea why. Maybe cuz trying to say Garby in a french accent would sound horrid.

Skrap-it becomes Férrouille. They pretty much just took the word Skrap, translated it and made that his name.

All the other names are pronounced with a french accent.

So to give an example:

Dozer's name is sorta pronounced: Dozair. (Emphasize on the r at the end)

If you guys wanna hear me rant about how the translations add puns or just, make Waldo more sassy. Tell me

And thought that: “This can work for Ty-Structs, right?” Then proceeded to draw them with a few changes in Ty’s part

Will there be a redemption arc and corruption arc au of these two? Maybe. I don’t know if someone made already or not.

Bloom's Dinotrux HUMAN AU infodump: D-Bros + Skrap-itt

I know I already posted them but I still wanna put em here + front facing D-Structs(unrelated note: don't usually do front faces much, I have tried it probably two times and it either ends up looking weird or just not right but I do like how it turned out this time! hmm maybe I should do more characters front facing).

anyways, I've always wanted to infodump share some bits of lore, facts, info, and other stuff of my human AU version of the Dinotrux and I kind of started with the D-bros + Skrap-itt, why? ngl they're one of the most interesting characters to me. soooooo here you go :)

D-Stroy:

-when D-Structs was born, D-Stroy looked at his parents while pointing at his new baby sibling and asked "mom, dad.... why does he look so ugly?"

-a very mischievous kid back then. he was the ultimate pranker. he pranks a lotta people that he almost lost count of them but his favourite pranking victim is you guessed it! ya boi D-Structs! oh poor poor young, bratty, selfish D-Structs... always having silly stuff drawn on his face when he was asleep and almost getting scared to death everytime his brother just jumpscares him...I'd list more but this is getting way too long lol.

-hair is l o n g and messy af. you can probably store/hide items in there idk.

-has a high tolerance for spicy food and also enjoys eating it.

-even as a kid, he always gets into fights and still does which results to him always receiving new scars/injuries. almost never minds it because with all honesty he doesn't really give a shit what he looks like. even though he is incredibly strong, he knows his limits and also knows he isn't invincible or indestructible so he tries his best not to overestimate his strength and avoid battles if he knows he can't win it.

D-Structs:

-was already a selfish guy when he was a bratty little kid and a bit of a snitch too. when he was five and D-Stroy would do something to him, even something that's completely harmless like slightly nudging his arm this left D-Structs no choice but to use a move that every older sibling fears "MAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"

-heavily dislikes the taste of sweets. can't really handle it, the taste of sugar and the feeling of it melting into his tongue is just....sickening, maybe even irritating...in fact, it's unbearable....

-similarly to D-Stroy, he often gotten to a lotta fight even as a kid and still does which ends up getting himself new scars/injuries. most of these fights are pretty much his fault as most of the time he's the one that's starting/asking for it.

-"I'd rather live my life all alone until I die" that's what he thought to himself until Skrap-itt came to his life. story between them was kinda similar to the canon. it was so hard for him to tolerate this talkative and dumb lil pipsqueak but as time goes on he kind of started to get used to his company that it feels oddly weird whenever he's alone... sometimes...after all, Skrap-itt was the only one that gives a fuck about him...

Skrap-itt:

-short king. you can kick him like he's a football or better yet, pick him up like he's some kind of cat and maybe even put him in a box, seal it shut, and deliver it to any random person. "your order is here"

-a cat person. he understands them, he knows they're not just annoying animals always whining for food 24/7, they are loving and caring too! they're not just, y'know, not that playful...at least..most of the time...he would adopt a cat but sadly D-Structs not really a big fan of pets in his home.

-was the weird lonely kid who often gets picked on a lot and many avoided him because, again, a weirdo and thus lived a pretty lonely life. Smash-itt, Break-itt and Lloyd are often the ones picking on him which would explain why Skrap-itt is so bitter to them when he meets them again, worse part is that D-Structs, though completely unaware of their history, """hired""" them.

When D-Structs says he doesn't share, he's lying.

The phrase loses meaning when you think that D-Structs has always shared with Skrap-it, In the eggs chapter, it could be said that he shares a ore with Skrap-it .

In itself, D-Struct shares its “Lair” with Skrap-it.

Even at the end he says that they will look for some place to govern, and he says this in plural.

And no, it doesn't do it just because Skrap-it is useful and that's it, after all D-Structs could perfectly well give nothing to Skrap-it.

In the end, D-structs only shares with Skrap-it, which in my opinion, he only shares with the only one with whom he has a "special" relationship.
