I’d also decided to make a Dirkbot because the other Ults got bots! Idk why I gave him a boob window, probably because I thought he was hot (still do)

<- very fascinated with your gambotkar au. It makes me smile to see stuff where Karkat is a weirdo :). Since (or atleast how I interpreted it) robots in homestuck are symbols of one's projected internal desire. (Which is explemified by Equius and aradiabot. Hell, even Jake and Dirkbot). To which I'll transition to my question: Are the gambots aware of how they're being used?

Ig Karkat would rather not acknowledge how weird it is cause he still thinks he’s just fishing info outta them; but even so, having your ex moirail in the form of two bots shower you in pale or red affection or whatever is pretty odd.. Everyone else would probably think it’s odd, but no one would say anything yet.

As for your question, the gambots would rather distract themselves than concern themselves with the truth, but I guess them finding out slowly would be ideal.

Or maybe- this could be an alternative-they could know all along but act like they’re completely clueless. Imagine what you want, dude.

Homestuck was always problematic that's why so many people (like you) hated it, remember all that abilism it had? Remember Dave's raps at the start? Remember literally anything that happened between Jane and Jake, you can't grow if you're already perfect and nobody is perfect that's why problematic characters exist. Hell Karkat was an asshole when he was introduced to the story, but everyone is an asshole at some point.

Fun fact: if you don't like homestuck, you don't have to read it, no one is forcing you to sit at a computer and read out the same shitty web comic that has always been a shitty web comic, that shit was made on mspaint by some guy with free time.

In the end whether or not someone likes or dislikes it means nothing because it's fiction, whether or not it's good fiction doesn't really matter,
